Osama Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden Makes the Cover of Parade Magazine Feburary 2009

http://wisdomfullyincrease.blogspot.com/2009/02/osama-on-cover-of-february-2009-parade.html

I felt I had to post when the uber mainstream "Parade" magazine in this Sunday's paper had OBL on the cover w/ his FBI mugshot saying he's wanted for 911. He's not, unless you include "other terror events". Here's the Parade pablum piece, if you're interested http://www.parade.com/export/sites/default/news/2009/02/who-are-the-worlds-most-wanted.html

The Greatest Greatness of George W. Bush

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave ...

Re: Your imminent unemployment

Greetings, Mr. Bush.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of your cat, India. Eighteen years is a long time for a cat - my mother has one that's 20 and still going strong, if you can believe it - and I'm sure India had a comfortable, caring life with your family.

Imminent terror attack will 'outdo 9/11' - Streem.com.au/Arab newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi

Al-Qaeda is reportedly planning a terrorist attack against the United States which will "outdo by far" the attacks of September 11 in 2001.

Arab newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi in London reports a senior Yemen official close to Al-Qaeda as warning of a new wave of terror attacks against the western nation.

The source, who is not named, is quoted as being "very close to Al-Qaeda"

The newspaper is edited by Abdel al-Bari Atwan, who was the last journalist to edit Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in 1996.

The newspaper report, contained on the front page, suggests bin Laden has ordered a large scale attack against the United States which would "outdo by far" the attacks of September 11.

It comes as reports in Britain say there is clear evidence that thousands of extremists are living inside the United Kingdom.

Bin Laden is writing a book?

Osama's book to counter anti-Qaeda campaign

Book to shed light on Qaeda, 9/11 attack | Will highlight atrocities against Muslims

KARACHI: Osama bin Laden, an Arab militant leader, is busy these days writing a book in Arabic language on the struggle the Al Qaeda network that dispenses money and logistical support and training to radical groups and has presence in more than 50 countries.

According to a private television channel on Friday, the book will be later translated into English, as Osama has decided to pen a book on his global organization as a response to the propaganda and insufficient information about the Al Qaeda.

"Osama is writing a book with the assistance of a young man with a Middle Eastern background who will later translate the text into English," the channel reported. The Al Qaeda leader, in his book, has particularly mentioned atrocities being meted out to Muslims in contemporary times by the Western world.

Bin Laden in Soviet-Afghan War, Day of 9/11 - Additions as of October 5, 2008

Several new entries have been added this week about Osama bin Laden during the anti-Soviet jihad in Afghanistan. In 1986, his brother Salem asked the Pentagon to supply him with missiles, but received no reply, although a Pentagon official did later ask Afghan commanders if resources should be diverted to the Arab Afghans. The bin Laden brothers purchased some anti-aircraft missiles in London and, in May, Osama led a group of Arab fighters into Afghanistan, but the mission ended in failure.

Pentagon on 9/11, Shoe Bombing, Bin Laden in the Soviet-Afghan War and More – Additions to the 9/11 Timeline as of September 28,

This week, a massive amount of new entries have been added to the timeline, dealing with a whole range of different issues. We will start with the day of 9/11, in particular the Pentagon, which a fire chief warned could be a target nearly 20 minutes before it was hit. The attack itself created confusion by setting off 300 fire alarms, although some medical workers thought the ensuing evacuation was a drill.

Leaders With No Conscience

By Rand Clifford

10/06/08 "ICH" - - As Osama bin Laden lay dying, December of 2001...might he have imagined that seven years later he would be on bogeyman life-support, still officially issuing messages as ruling poster boy for America’s mindless, force-fed terror obsession? The hammerlock on thoughts of Americans by psychopathic leadership still depends on fairytale power of Osama to help fuel the pathological War On Terror—could he have foreseen this, Americans being so propagandized as to let the lifeblood of their nation drip through their fingers, for lies? Whatever Osama knew he’d accomplished surely pales in light of what he has done since dying; if he had any inkling of this he must have died smiling.

Brave and refreshing 9/11 satire

Found this brave and refreshing trailer of the upcoming movie "Postal".

Petraeus will turn his attention to hunt for Bin Laden

Propaganda to prepare us for a possible McCain victory in November?

Petraeus's Next Job: Finish Hunt for Bin Laden
If He Succeeds as He Has in Iraq It Could Reshape Presidential Race

General Petraeus told the Senate Armed Services Committee here that is weighing President Bush's proposal to promote him to head of the Central Command that one of his first actions would be to visit Pakistan and meet with leaders there to discuss strategies for taking back control of the tribal border provinces where Osama bin Laden and his deputies lurk.

Conversations with the Bin Laden Boys #1: Michael Scheuer on his homeboy OBL's videos, the Will to Kill and the 9-11 cover-up

Michael Scheuer is, as far as I know, the only Company Man to get a shout out from Osama Bin Laden, the big bad boogeyman that keeps on giving. So he was the right guy to clear up the confusion about the Bin Laden 9-11 "confession" video and his initial statements denying responsibility for the attacks. Garko and I went to the Hammer Museum in West Los Angeles a few weeks ago to check in with Bin Laden's (version fall '07) favorite former CIA man. If I had studied the great info that Reprehensor had sent me about the KLA/Al-Qaeda/NATO/CIA linkages better I would have gone further down that route to press Scheuer.

Michael Mukasey, Day of 9/11, Osama bin Laden – 9/11 Timeline Additions as of April 20, 2008

More material has been added covering the NSA's surveillance of Ahmed al-Hada, father-in-law of alleged Pentagon hijacker Khalid Almihdhar. Both President Bush and Vice President Cheney used the non-exploitation of calls between his phone in Yemen and the hijackers in the US to justify the NSA's warrantless wiretapping program in January 2006. Attorney General Michael Mukasey and Director of National Intelligence Michael McConnell attributed the failure to trace the calls to a 1981 executive order earlier this year, and Mukasey bizarrely then claimed that one of the calls was between the US and Afghanistan, rather than Yemen. This confused the media somewhat, and a group of congressmen asked Mukasey for an explanation.

There are additional entries about the day of 9/11. A senior official later disputed Richard Clarke's account of the day's events, some Pentagon security cameras did not show the crash site, and the fighters who later responded to the Pentagon attack attended anti-terrorism training earlier in the day. There is a dispute over which gate American 11 left from at Boston airport, where suspicious passengers arrived on September 10, when Larry Silverstein's publicist cancelled an appointment at the WTC for 9/11. Other entries point out United 93's autopilot was turned off, top air force officials continued with a meeting when they learned the WTC had been hit, and crew on United 93 had previously attended antiterrorism training. Pilots on American 77, American 11 and United 93, were allocated to their flights shortly before 9/11.

Osama Bin Laden's son: "Maybe they made a copy of my father"

This was broadcasted yesterday on Belgian Public Television channel Eén, in the programme "Koppen"

Omar Bin Laden, Osama's Son speaks:

"Last time i saw my father on TV, he looked like my father...but sometimes...something very strange...makes you feel difficult to believe this is the same person as your father. ... Maybe they made a copy of my father and say he says this or he says that"

Global Blowback

http://www.thenewamerican.com/node/7753

Long before 9/11, Osama bin Laden’s terrorist activities around the world were being cited as a classic case of “blowback.” Quite obviously, the CIA’s support for bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, and other radical Islamists in Afghanistan in the 1980s, ostensibly to counter the Soviets, had indeed helped spawn a virulently anti-American global terror network that was returning to haunt us.
Unfortunately, aiding al-Qaeda is far from the only “mistake” of this sort to be made by our government. In fact, the top policymakers at the State Department and National Security Council — in both Republican and Democratic administrations — seem to have a perverse proclivity for backing some of the most brutal terrorist organizations and terror-sponsoring regimes, time after time after time.

Here are a few disturbing examples of the absurd and indefensible “war on terror” policies that are aiding our enemies and undermining our security — and that are certain to bring a torrent of deadly blowback to America for years, if not decades, to come.

Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock first tackled the fast food industry and the country's expanding waistline, but now the producer is on the hunt for America's public enemy No.1 -- Osama bin Laden.

His new book's title says it simply, "Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden?"
