Here are some of the All-Stars of the 9/11 Truth Movement in Canada. While the grassroots movement has grown from 2 or 3 groups in 2007 to over 25 groups in 2009, the list of scholars, scientists, intellectuals, pilots, engineers, journalists, authors, public figures, etc has also continued to grow. We present some of those whom we are aware of here.

Ottawa 9/11 Truth participated in the Hope Beach Volleyball tournament on July 11th,2009 which coincided with our 11th of Every Month truth action. We handed out DVDs to bring awareness regarding the other side of the story of 9/11 and had fun doing it. It was a good way of bringing 9/11 truth to the citizens of Ottawa in a positive fashion. We encountered many Canadians who were largely unaware of this information due to the mainstream media cover up. Hopefully we prompted them to investigate further into the events of 9/11 and the direction their country is headed with our role in the War on Terror

US Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said Wednesday she now knows 9/11 terrorists did not enter the United States from Canada, seeking to bury controversy over a diplomatic gaffe.

"I know that 9/11 terrorists did not cross the Canadian border," Napolitano told reporters, referring to an "earlier misstatement" used to justify increased security at the United States' northern frontier.

She had made the comment in a television interview with Canadian public broadcaster CBC in April, provoking outrage in this country.

The subject of what really happened on 9/11 remains taboo in the mainstream media, particularly in the United States. 9/11 is too tragic an event; it is too close to home, an agonizing wound that still, literally, lies exposed in the center of lower Manhattan.

To question the Bush administration’s explanation of 9/11 in America, regardless of any glaring anomalies in the official story, is tantamount to heresy or treason in the established media arenas. For a long time now, anyone who publicly questions the official 9/11 investigation is more than likely labeled a conspiracy theorist, a lunatic, and a nut case. Yet slowly, over time, we are beginning to hear the voices of a few journalists on the American airwaves asking questions about the events of September 11, 2001.

We did not have much time to do a long street action but we did what we could. We were outside city hall from 3:30 PM to about 5:00 PM and handed out quite a few dvds and talked to a few people about 9/11 truth. Great response from the public, no adverse comments. Keep an eye out on this blog for more info on our next street action December 11, 2008.

Conspiracy theorists thought election could bring their 'issue' to the fore

The spreading ripples of conspiracy to silence those dismissing the official version of what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, got one ring larger recently: this newspaper was dragged into the subterfuge when an article on 9/11 conspiracy theories in the federal election campaign was delayed due to space limitations.

It did not take long for the missing story to add to an already complicated plot for a number of 9/11 skeptics who had been contacted for the story -- and who were already deeply mistrustful of the mainstream media.

"Who got to you?" one wrote to the reporter after the story was not in the newspaper the next day. He then suggested the reporter was never really working on a story but rather gleaning information on the movement for some unspoken purpose.

Friends and Colleagues (please distribute widely if and as you wish) ~

One of the greatest strengths of the 9/11Truth movement is that it is leaderless. I hope it stays that way.

While I believe it dehumanizing to cynically trash all leaders or all politicians (think Tommy Douglas) there nevertheless are good reasons for being skeptical of “leaders” (even those who lead by example toward truth, justice and peace). I suggest all “leaders,” self-chosen or declared by others to be so, should be subject to constant self-scrutiny and scrutiny by others. True leaders will be quick to agree.

I recognize that some people inside and outside the9/11Truth movement have called those of us more prominent in the movement, myself included, leaders. With that recognition comes responsibility. That’s what I am trying to fulfill here. I would regret it if I did not make this effort.

They're going across the country in hopes of tracking down what they say is the real story behind the 9/11 attacks.

About 10 members of the so-called Vancouver 9/11 Truth Society rolled into Winnipeg yesterday on a small bus while en route from the West Coast to Ottawa to try to push Canadian authorities to launch a new, independent probe of the World Trade Center catastrophe.

"There's a need for another look at the whole attack," Michael Welch, a Winnipeg resident assisting the Vancouver group, said while pointing to a U.S. commission that investigated the fall of the Twin Towers.

"There are so many holes in the official story. And the official commission is so riddled with fraud, cover-up and conflict of interest that there is no way that responsible people should accept it."

He and his West Coast colleagues "suspect that 9/11 was facilitated, if not orchestrated, by elements within the U.S. government military -- to put it succinctly, an inside job."
