Fox News says War on Christmas could last "several generations"

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

Recent accredited reports from Fox News have surmised that the "War on Christmas" may last "several generations." The fight against secular extremists may take longer than initially expected, say some Fox News reporters.

At the outset, the war to regain notoriety for the oft-forgotten holiday seemed to be relatively limited. Since being relegated to the back pages of history by fundamentalist non-Christians, Christmas has become an obscure and misunderstood festival, ignored by the secular and brainwashed masses.

"People just don't celebrate Christmas any more," said Pastor Dick Prime. "We have to restore our Christmas traditions and take the fight to the secular jihadists who are attacking our religious traditions, by using any means necessary, be they chemical, biological or nuclear."

DoD LIES, but VA Admits 153,000 Disability Claims

DoD LIES, but VA Admits 153,000 Disability Claims
November 1, 2006

Finally some reliable figures are coming out from the Veterans Affairs department concerning the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). or more simply the latest ill-advised US military adventure in Iraq, started in March 2003...

Instead of the 30,000 casualties reported by the DoD, the latest VA report shows that 153,000 US soldiers - out of a total deployed of 567,000 - were injured enough to claim for disability. The accepted ratio of Wounded to Dead in the latest Iraq War is 7.5 to 1, according to the Washington Post, which extrapolates to around 20,400 US soldiers DEAD up to June 2006

"The number of wounded in Iraq through March 31, 2006, was 7.5 times the number of dead"

Progression: in a six months period claims have increased from 115,500 to 153,000, or an increase of some 32%. It therefore seems reasonable to assume that the ANNUALIZED increase in casualty claims is of the order of 60% from year to year!....

It took 15 years for the claims relating to the much shorter Gulf War, where 580,000 US troops were deployed to reach the incredible number of 518,000, or nearly 90% of deployment. Because of the extensive use of Depleted Uranium this time around (2000 tons against 350 tons) one could reasonably expect that 90% of all soldiers deployed will claim disability within 10 years of the beginning of the War, the other 10% being DEAD...

Breitweiser: Getting Rid of the Problem By Getting Rid of Republicans

Comment: Although Kristin can be a little too LIHOP-py for some of us, she is still a hero because she speaks truth to power and is a valuable asset since she garners a decent amount of mainstream attention.

Getting to the Root of the Problem by Getting Rid of the Republicans

Go ahead. Call me a Democrat. But, I am not; I'm anti-terrorist--which means that I cannot support the Republican agenda.

Go ahead. Call me crazy. But, I am not. I favor common-sense logic, sound judgment, and smart leadership proven by and rooted in truth and reality--which means that I cannot support the Republican agenda.

Truth and Reality: Five years since 9/11, the Republicans have done more to further the terrorist agenda than Osama Bin Laden could have ever hoped for on the morning of 9/11.

The Republican's pre-emptive war in Iraq gave Bin Laden exactly what he dreamt about on the morning of 9/11: it has strengthened terrorist organizations worldwide; made American Republican policy makers and leaders look weak, ignorant, and arrogant; drained U.S. military personnel ranks and morale; eaten up massive amounts of our national budget; destabilized the world; harmed the U.S.'s reputation in the world; weakened U.S. Constitutional principles and the ideals of free and democratic society; allowed North Korea and Iran to not only become emboldened but also real, credible threats to American security; and left our homeland defense alarmingly vulnerable to a dizzying array of future terrorist attacks (i.e. biological, chemical, nuclear, aerial, nautical, etc).

9/11 Truth vs 9/11 Conspiracy vs War on Terror

[UPDATE] A few things are worth noting. "9/11 Conspiracy" and "9/11 Truth" do not show up in the news reference volume. Also, "9/11 Conspiracy" doesn't show up until almost 2004. Now, look at this old Slashdot post, Google Censors Abu Ghraib Images. It makes me think that at some point in time, the evidence wasn't available on Google, and that's why the trend didn't show up.

A Question of 'Compromise'

McCain's deal on prisoners means White House lawlessness rolls on

by Nat Hentoff October 1st, 2006 9:18 PM

Our government is the potent, omnipresent teacher of the whole people by its example. . . . If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for the law. —Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis, dissenting in the first wiretap case, Olmstead v. U.S., 1928

The civil war between three Republican senators and the president over his treatment of imprisoned suspected terrorists has resulted in a public break with George W. Bush's own former secretary of state, Colin Powell. But in all these stories about Powell's mutiny, I've seen no mention of an angry, prophetic memorandum he wrote on January 25, 2002, protesting the administration's pending decision to scrap the Geneva Conventions on the treatment of prisoners in Afghanistan.

Revealed: Pakistani ISI pulling the strings of Al Qaeda

A defenant in a major British terror trial has revealed in his testimony that the Pakistani ISI "played a role in training Islamic militants". The ISI then threatened his family. This is what happens when a real trial occurs. This is why Bush wants secret trials for this "enemy combatants". If doesn't have them, the truth might actually come out.

Terrorism Defendant Cites Fear of Pakistan

September 20, 2006

LONDON — A major terrorism trial here was interrupted Tuesday when a defendant accused Pakistan's intelligence service of threatening his relatives in the South Asian nation after he testified that the spy agency played a role in training Islamic militants.

Omar Khyam, an accused leader among seven men charged in 2004 with stockpiling half a ton of explosives in an Al Qaeda-linked bombing plot, took the stand Tuesday long enough to refuse to continue his testimony. The judge temporarily adjourned the trial, which began in March.

On Monday, Khyam stunned his own lawyer when he declared that his relatives in Pakistan had been intimidated in recent days by agents of the powerful Inter-Services Intelligence agency, which has a shadowy history of contacts with Islamic extremist networks.

Syria blames U.S. for embassy attack
Claims Washington orchestrated it
to get concessions from Damascus

JERUSALEM – The attack today against the United States embassy in Damascus was orchestrated by American intelligence to embarrass the Syrian regime and extract political concessions, a senior member of Syrian President Bashar Assad's Baath Party claimed to WND.

"We in the government are 100 percent sure America was behind this attack, which is not the same as other attacks by Islamic groups," said the senior Baath party official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"Only the Americans can succeed in carrying out an attack just 200 meters from President Assad's residence in the most heavily guarded section of Syria," the official said.

"Most Charges Are Not Related To Terrorism"

Terrorism Prosecutions Drop

"The study of data by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), an affiliate of Syracuse University in New York, also showed that as many as nine out of 10 terrorism investigations do not result in prosecutions, that most charges are not related to terrorism and that only about a third of those prosecuted end up in prison."

More proof, as if it were needed, that the "terror" threat has been vastly overstated, even when provoked, and even when most of the terrorist activity is sponsored by intelligence informants.
