Have you ever wondered how the government's misinformation gains traction?

What I have noticed is that whenever a stunning episode occurs, such as 9/11 or the Boston Marathon bombing, most everyone whether on the right or left goes along with the government's explanation, because they can hook their agenda to the government's account.

The leftwing likes the official stories of Muslims creating terrorist mayhem in America, because it proves their blowback theory and satisfies them that the dispossessed and oppressed can fight back against imperialism.

The patriotic rightwing likes the official story, because it proves America is attacked for its goodness or because terrorists were allowed in by immigration authorities and nurtured by welfare, or because the government, which can't do anything right, ignored plentiful warnings.

Whatever the government says, no matter how problematical, the official story gets its traction from its compatibility with existing predispositions and agendas.

Federal Judge Dieter Deiseroth: It is very unfortunate that the media is not prepared to face the issue of 9/11 and ask the unanswered questions

Question: Do you think the proposal of an independent 9/11 investigation to be realistic?

Judge Dieter Deiseroth:: I think the suggestion is reasonable and necessary. Because the official investigation is the central justification for the war ( "Operation Enduring Freedom") and for serious alterations of the U.S. legal system under the so-called homeland security legislation.

Question: This should be difficult because neither politics nor the big media, dare to question the official version of 9/11 critically.

In another headlined article at OpEdNews.com, Sr. Editor Dr. Moffett has again smeared the peer-reviewed paper, Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe published in The Open Chemical Physics Journal, published by Bentham.org. A different Bentham.org journal, The Open Information Science Journal, recently published a hoax paper, and 2 editors resigned: Open Access Publisher Accepts Nonsense Manuscript for Dollars. I find some areas of agreement with Dr. Moffet; for instance, he says: "The only way to find out what really happened [on 9/11] is to have a large panel of independent researchers reopen the case, with access to the classified documents that would be needed to make a valid assessment of all the data."

Dr. John R Moffett fires a salvo at the Dr. Niels Harrit paper on active thermitic material, using the fake paper that was recently published as his talking point. This was as we predicted yesterday.

We really need the heavy hitters to go over there and rebut his arguments. I won't try, since I don't consider my argumentation skills up to the task, but we need sane, well informed, articulate voices to go on the counter-attack. It helps a lot if they are credentialed experts in relevant fields.

Here is my list of points from yesterday that might be used to craft a response. There are other great point on the thread:

What will happen over and over now, I suspect, is the following:

- A hit piece will be published
- A letter or comment using the Niels Harrit et al paper will be published
- Another comment using this information on Bentham will be posted to discredit the nanothermite research.

We really need to have a very clear, concise, convincing rebuttal ready to post for this situation.
We need someone with a deep understanding of the situation to prepare the talking points regarding:

I’m just your average Joe from Averageville, USA. I hold no secretive position, no scholarly acumen to speak of, no covert connections to anyone nor anything that would give me an inside track on the truth about 9/11. I was at work in California when it happened. I was stunned. We were all stunned. Commercial fiction and 9/11 truth have formed a strange marriage, and a mutually beneficial relationship. The original 40,000 book print run of “The Shell Game” is almost sold out even before the book has even hit the bookstores. A big part of that success may be from the growing support of the 9/11 truth community who has come to largely enthusiastically realize, although for a few some times begrudgingly, that “The Shell Game” will, in the end, help draw a much larger audience to the 9/11 truth movement.

Using fiction to fight for factual truth, was a stretch for some 9/11 activists, but the tide is quickly changing. For example, within one day, one prominent 9/11 truth activist went from condemning use of “The Shell Game” as a 9/11 truth spreading tool, . . . to wholly and enthusiastically endorsing it to help open the public mind to 9/11 truth. This is a growing pattern. The more 9/11 truth activists learn about this upcoming blockbuster book, the more excited they become.
