In the aftermath of 9/11, those in power who failed to protect the US and defend the Constitution before 9/11 used the attacks as a pretext for suppressing rights and launching wars - and they still do. Those doing so have received public support, and increased authority and budgets from the Executive branch and Congress. Whistleblowers and witnesses pointing to false statements and other wrongdoing were silenced and punished, and still are. There were limited IG and congressional inquiries, and then the 9/11 Commission. All of the Commission's members and half its staff had political, professional, personal and/or economic conflicts of interest. Its investigation and final report ignored or spun important evidence and witnesses, as well as the vast majority of the questions posed by the Family Steering Committee. Without the efforts by 9/11 families, there may not even have been the 9/11 Commission. A new book by by researcher and activist Jon Gold documents and examines all of this: We Were Lied to About 9/11: The Interviews.

Hello. I am currently working on another book called "We Were Lied To About 9/11: The Interviews." Each interview has already been transcribed, and I am in the process of editing them now. When I started this project I never realized how important it would actually be. I've already posted so many quotes from the parts of the book I've worked on. I'm not tooting my own horn, I'm not saying this for ego purposes, I'm not bullshitting anyone. This book will simply blow people's minds.

Here is a preview Chapter. It's the second interview that I did with Mickey Huff of ProjectCensored. I'm sharing this one because the "news" has been the biggest obstacle towards getting truth, accountability and justice for what happened.

Paul Thompson is the author of The Terror Timeline, a compilation of over 5,000 reports and articles concerning the September 11, 2001 attacks. The book was based on research conducted by himself and other contributors to the History Commons website. Thompson's research in the field has garnered over 100 radio interviews, along with TV interviews on Fox News and Air America and interviews in print, such as for Buzz Magazine. Articles about himself, his research and its reception by the 9/11 Truth Movement have appeared in The Village Voice and Esquire Magazine's "Genius Issue,” and recognition as "an authority on terrorism", even though, "He never studied, trained", as noted by Esquire. In 2005, Thompson was asked to speak at a congressional briefing on the 9/11 Commission’s final report, he addressed what he defined as failures by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

An instance where we need further investigation, and have names of individuals that should have been held accountable, but weren’t.

Why is it important to hold people accountable? So they don't make the same mistake again. So the next person thinks twice about repeating a mistake. Because maybe an individual will start to talk about others who need to be held accountable. If something you did contributed to the murder of 2,976 people, then you should be held accountable for your actions. Period. You should NOT be rewarded and promoted.

Hello. I'm writing to ask if your schedule has cleared up, and whether or not you're available for an interview on my show "We Were Lied To About 9/11." Again, I'm not going to talk to you about theories. I want to primarily talk about how important it is to acknowledge that we were lied to about 9/11, and how important it is for those with a voice to do their best to inform the public of that. The way it would work is, I would write out questions for you ahead of time so you can either familiarize yourself with the material or tell me you're not comfortable with a particular question and I would do away with it. Dr. John M. Newman, Jr., Major, U.S. Army, Retired, was born on 20 December 1950 in Dayton Ohio.

Dr. Newman earned a BA in Chinese studies (George Washington University, 1973), an MA in East Asian studies (George Washington University, 1976), and a PhD in modern Far Eastern history (George Washington University, 1992). He served in US Army Intelligence (1974–1994), became the Assistant to the Director, National Security Agency (1988–1990), and was a U.S. Army Attaché in China (1989–1991).

Dr. Newman taught for the University of Maryland Honors Program from 1992 to 2012. He currently he teaches courses on counterterrorism, international terrorism, and America in the 60s at James Madison University. He is the author of JFK and Vietnam (1992); Oswald and the CIA (1995; 2009); Quest for the Kingdom—The Secret Teachings of Jesus in the Light of Yogic Mysticism (2011); and Where Angels Tread Lightly: The Assassination of President Kennedy, Volume I (2015).

Peter Phillips is a professor of political sociology at Sonoma State University and president of Media Freedom Foundation/Project Censored. He was Director of Project Censored from 1997 to 2010. Phillips holds a Ph.D. from University of California Davis, his dissertation was on the Sociology of the San Francisco Bohemian Club. His recent research is focused on the Transnational capitalist class (TCC), and US/NATO Empire's move to 21st century fascism.
