The Biggest Lie * The Hague * Howard Zinn

"The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy
is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of
private power to a point where it becomes
stronger than their democratic State itself.
That, in its essence, is fascism —
ownership of government by an individual,
by a group or by any other
controlling private power."

- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Editor’s Notes:

If you have not subscribed (free) to Flyby News (FN), then this is the first issue of 2010. Please take your time reading and absorbing, since there is quite a bit of information. However, I want to encourage you to take action soon, regarding item 2, which contains a formal response to Francis Boyle, Professor of International Law, from The Hague on his filing against Bush et al for the war-crime "Extraordinary Rendition." Please consider endorsing and supporting this campaign ASAP.

War Criminals: Arrest Warrants Requested

War Criminals: Arrest Warrants Requested
25.01.2010 Source: Pravda.Ru

International arrest warrants have been requested for George W. Bush, Richard (Dick) Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleeza Rice and Alberto Gonzales at the International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands.

Professor of Law Francis A. Boyle of the University of Illinois College of Law in Champain, United States of America, has issued a Complaint with the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court against the above-mentioned for their practice of “extraordinary rendition” (forced disappearance of persons and subsequent torture) in Iraq and for criminal policy which constitutes Crimes against Humanity in violation of the Rome Statute which set up the ICC.

As such, the Accused (mentioned above) are deemed responsible for the commission of crimes within the territories of many States signatories of the Rome Statute, in violation of Rome Statute Articles 5 (1)(b), 7 (1)(a), 7 (1)(e), 7 (1)(g), 7(1)(h), 7(1)8i) and 7(1)(k). Despite the fact that the USA is not a signatory State, the ICC has the jurisdiction to prosecute under Article 12 (2)(a) of the Rome Statute.

9/8 9/9 European 9/11 Action!

Greetings to anyone who follows my blog here somewhat...

We've been quite busy this weekend! We spent about 6 hours demonstrating yesterday (Saturday 8 Sept.) in The Hague with a half dozen people. Easily more than 1,000 flyers were handed out, and probably close to 500 or more DVDs. Today we joined the European-wide march through Brussels, and have some preliminary video footage available for that as well.

Enjoy!

LAST CALL For Action in THE HAGUE TOMORROW (Saturday, September 8, 12:00 noon)

Hey folks, it's finally time! Now we're not going to have a huge demonstration or protest, but there are around a dozen of us heading to The Hague tomorrow afternoon (Saturday, September 8 at 12:00 noon). This is the last call for anyone else out there who is in the area and wants to come help. The Hague is just 45 minutes from Amsterdam, Utrecht, and a half hour from Rotterdam. Anyone in the area should really hop on a train and join up with us if at all possible. We have permission from the police in writing, so there are absolutely no worries about anything going wrong. Bring your tshirts, flyers, DVDs, and other 9/11 Truth or related paraphernalia. See you tomorrow! (If you are coming and reading this, please send me an email at dutch911truth@gmail.com. We have told the police we have 15 people showing up, so if any more are coming I need to know so I can tell them when I arrive in the morning. Note: Please DO NOT arrive BEFORE 12:00. Better 5 minutes late than early.)

Paul Craig Roberts: Is the Military Our Last Hope?

Mr. Roberts suggest a military surprise coup to ged rid off the war criminals. I second that! It needs a lot of courage, even to suggest it.
But it is an option!

Perhaps America could regain its reputation if General Pace would send a division of US Marines to arrest Bush, Cheney, the entire civilian contingent in the Pentagon, the neoconservative nazis, and the complicit members of Congress and send them off to the Hague to be tried for war crimes.
...
How can any patriotic American support a regime that has shredded the US Constitution, ignored the separation of powers, violated the Geneva Conventions, forced through a law legalizing torture, launched a war of aggression that has produced 26,000 American military casualties in service of a lie, murdered tens or hundreds of thousands of Muslim civilians, destroyed an entire country, and planned an attack on Iran, perhaps with nuclear weapons?
