The realization that 9/11 was an inside job and that the global elite are on the fast track to a new world order is a potentially paralyzing downer. However, there is within the Truth Movement a joyous bunch. Street Activists; we are not a glum lot.

WeAreChangeLA has been in existence for two years now. In that relatively short time we have learned a few lessons. Both Bruno and I came to the job of organizing 9/11 Truth activities with some management and production experience, so we had a bit of a head start. Still, the people we serve are a passionate and demanding group of individuals, and we have made our share of mistakes. This article is meant to lay out what, in our experience, works. We hope that you will find it helpful with the organizing of your groups.

He discusses the need for the Peace Movement to address and embrace the 911 issue if we are to be effective (as it was the original lie of the Bush admin), the need for a change in tactics; becoming more community oriented as individuals (rather than relying on mass demonstrations in city centres), as well as changing our attitudes and approach to 911 Truth by being more service oriented to get the message out.

Waking up to the NAU

On February 16th thousands of educated and awake Canadians took part in a nationwide protest against the SPP and NAU.

Through Facebook.com, a handful of Canadians were able to organize and coordinate demonstrations to be held simultaneously in more than a dozen cities from Fredericton Nova Scotia to Victoria BC. Tens of thousands of Canadians were awakened to the threat of the NAU as a result, and it has galvanized ordinary citizens to take part in grassroots political action.

My small crew here in the Netherlands is ready to hit the streets once again this upcoming Saturday. We've had an excellent reaction to the story I posted here on 911blogger 2 weeks ago, and we've now got plans for 9/8, 9/9, and 9/11.

I will speak with city officials in The Hague early next week, and give a notification of demonstration to the police. On 9/8 at 12:00 noon we will be in the center city (I don't know where, I have to ask the police first) to do our demonstration. If you want to come along, please let me know soon. We have a load of flyers and a couple of DVDs, our sign, and our tshirts. If you can make some DVDs, they're cheap enough and you can get the latest version of Zeitgeist here:

Collectively formed in Fall 2006, Temple 9/11 Truth is a student-based group dedicated to investigating the inconsistencies of 9/11 and bringing its fraudulent omissions to light.

As read in part from the group's Mission statement:

"Even though this group's title is Temple 9/11 Truth, all those who agree or disagree with the official story are welcome. We encourage everyone to maintain a critical perspective and discuss their views openly."

Outreach rallies have been held at Bell Tower Square and are informally scheduled on Wednesday morning and afternoons, group meetings on Thursday. All are welcome to participate and engage the topic of that fateful day and related issues.

Name: Whistleblower Leafletting

Below is an announcement for a day of activism known as "Witness Against Torture" (www.witnesstorture.org) aimed at shutting down Camp X-Ray at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Given that it plays such a central role in the "New Freedom" including Guantanamo's camps, 9/11 Truth may be an appropriate addition to the ranks.

“In the work to shut down Guantánamo, there is a part to be played by lawyers and human rights advocates. What is the role of the citizen? To stand up on behalf of the victims of the war on terrorism. On January 11, many of us will do that through nonviolent direct action, creatively challenging a system of laws that offer no justice.
CALL TO ACTION

We declare January 11, 2007, five years after the first prisoners arrived at Guantanamo, an International Day of Action to Shut Down Guantánamo. In Washington, DC we will hold a permitted march from the Supreme Court to the U.S. Federal Court; some may risk arrest they attempt to submit Habeas petitions on the behalf of the prisoners of Guantánamo. There will also be solidarity demonstrations from Amsterdam to Boise, Idaho and a National Call-In Day to Congress. We invite you to come to Washington and participate, or else join or plan an action in your own community.

Below is an announcement for a national day of action in Washington, D. C. to be hosted by the United for Peace and Justice coalition (unitedforpeace.org), including a post-rally Congressional lobbying day. Please note that A) this will be one of the first sights the new Congress witnesses and B) these are usually extremely large events with attendees numbering in the hundreds of thousands. While UFPJ marchgoers are generally of an inordinately "fluffy" left-liberal persuasion, there will be are noticeable quantities of marchers who are 9/11-aware or official story-questioning. 9/11 Truthers may seize the opportunity to spread information, to draw out disaffected leftists from under the unqualified (9/11 Truth-less) UFPJ leadership and perhaps to gain insight from the Congressional lobbying workshops.

DEBUT OF ONLINE 9/11 TRUTH ACTIVIST NETWORKING SITE
9/11 Action Net Makes Web Appearance 11/1/06

A new website called 9/11 Action Net, “a 9/11 truth activist networking tool”, debuted this Wednesday, November 1, at http://www.911action.net for the announcement of 9/11 actions, rallies and demonstrations by activists around the world.

Five years after the attacks of September, America finds itself inundated by a flood of tens of millions of webcasts, DVDs and pamphlets questioning the official story of 9/11 and conclusively proving elements of it to be outright lies. According to an October 2006 poll by Angus Reid Consultants, nearly a hundred million Americans believe that the government is "mostly lying" concerning the events of the day in question. Despite this situation, however, almost nothing thus far in the way of sit-ins, rallies and demonstrations has taken place to mobilize this segments of the population for an insistent press for truth, accountability and justice regarding the attacks and the cover-up which followed.

It's one thing to say, "stop the war" or "bring the troops home," but to expose a massive act of treason like the attacks of September 11th takes well-informed activism, that's where the 9/11 truth movement is singularly effective and that's why the 9/11 Action Net has chosen to rise to the task of helping to bring the truth about terror to the streets, town halls and government offices where it is most desperately needed, and anyone with an idea of how to do that is welcome to make full use of this new online resource for those ends.
