Among hundreds of writers, I’ve documented overwhelming evidence that the US is waging illegal Wars of Aggression, the worst crime a nation can commit. I’ve also documented the OBVIOUS lies political “leadership” from both parties told and still tell to justify these campaigns for empire. I’ve given historical context of Abraham Lincoln doing the same as a freshman in Congress pointing out the OBVIOUS lies justifying invasion of Mexico.

The Left and Right arms of the one oligarchic political body will not prosecute each other, of course. These politicians are not merely lying sacks of spin; their crimes are treason against the United States because they’ve killed over 5,000 American troops. They betray their oath of office to protect and defend the US Constitution each and every day. After 45 years of service to the newly created United States, George Washington published a message to the American people. This is the summation of his observations and what he most wanted to contribute to Americans' understanding of defending our Constitutional government.

Washington's Farewell Address is considered so important that it is read in its entirety every year in the Senate, and has been read in one or both chambers of Congress every year since 1862.

In light of George Washington's admonition to defend the rule of law, let's consider the current US wars of invasion. Our own government committee investigations have revealed the exact evidence backing claims that these are defensive wars for our national security. We now know from the evidence that all of these claims were not only false, but definitely known to be false at the time they were told to the American people and Congress. The best teaching tool I've come across in my 25 years of teaching is the following 10-minute video: The US Constitution was born from war against tyranny - the word of choice for unconstrained government that acted harmfully toward the public's political and economic interests. The Founding Fathers had much to say in defense of citizen vigilence for liberty, for only we can protect our freedom:

Before legislation becomes law in France, it must pass the muster of the Conseil Constitutionnel: a group of jurists who determine whether each new law is consistent with the principles and rules of France's constitution.

For the passage of Sarkozy's unpopular "three strikes" HADOPI legislation, the approval of the Conseil was the final hurdle to cross. If the council had approved the law, rightsholders in France would have been able to cast French citizens off the Internet with no judicial oversight, simply by alleging to the new HADOPI administrative body that they were repeat copyright infringers. These citizens would then have their names added to a national Internet blacklist for up to a year, and ISPs would be subject to financial penalties if they gave these exiles access to the Internet.

"God help us if the only thing we get out of this is a commission modeled on 9/11," Turley commented. "That was a commission that was really made for Washington -- a commission composed of political appointees of both parties that ran interference for those parties -- a commission that insisted at the beginning it would not impose blame on individuals. So it's the ideal Washington commission -- a commission that would investigate without any reprecussions."
