“9/11 Conspiracy Roadtrip BBC show” – A Participant’s Perspective

http://911truthnews.com/911-truth-news-movement-commentary/

Hello, my name is Emily Church and I am a mute.

Well, according to the masters of propaganda at the BBC/Renegade Productions.

This summer I participated in a BBC hit piece on 9/11, entitled “Conspiracy Roadtrip”. The premise is simple: five non-believers of the official story journey across the east coast of the USA in search of the truth. On the way we meet “experts” and victims of the attacks, guided by “comedian” Andrew Maxwell who believes the 9/11 commission report was the be all and end all of the 9/11 story.

The show aired a few hours ago and I felt compelled to write my version of what happened on that 8 day roadtrip, to give you the perspective you were not shown by BBC 3.

Firstly, I must tip my hat to them. They did a wonderful editing job. Anyone who has ever had a conversation with me or knows me personally will be very much aware of my opinions re: 9/11, and how outspoken I am about them. However, on this show I appear to be pretty much silent the entire way through.

I wasn’t.

Yet another BBC 9/11 programme - Conspiracy Road Trip

I have a feeling this one may make the truth movement look really bad.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b014gpjx

This September marks the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, one of the biggest terrorist atrocities of the 21st Century. Nineteen hijackers, all members of Al Qaeda, crashed four planes on American soil, leading to the deaths of 2,973 innocent people.

This horrific event has generated a multitude of conspiracy theories that contradict the official findings of the US government's investigation into the events of that day.

Andrew Maxwell, a comedian, believes in the findings of the official investigation, which claim the responsibility for the attack lies with Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. He thinks the conspiracies theories are unsubstantiated nonsense. So in this film he offers to take five young Brits, who believe some of these conspiracy theories, on a road-trip from New York to Washington. They visit Ground Zero where two planes hit the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, home of vast American defence HQ and Shanksville in Pennsylvania where United 93 crashed.

How to piss off the BBC

...in under 5 minutes, 3 easy steps to follow.

Step 1: Let the BBC produce a propaganda series about 911 or any other slightly controversial issue).

Step 2: Take a copy of the propaganda video and edit on a computer so that the story told is closer to the truth.

Step 3: Upload the video to an appropriate internet video channel like YouTube or...

BBC Article: "9/11 Third Tower Mystery 'Solved'"

Here's a new article by Mike Rudin, that's been posted on the BBC News website. It mentions that NIST says "fire fighters could not fight the fires in Tower 7, because they didn't have enough water and focused on saving lives." However, NIST's claim is incorrect. There were in fact fireboats that had been moored near the WTC the morning of 9/11, to provide water to the site. See:
http://www.firehouse.com/terrorist/17_Pharvey.html

One of the boats, the John J. Harvey, could reportedly "pump 16,000 to 20,000 gallons of water a minute. 'That's the equivalent of 15 [fire] engines drafting water,' explained 65-year-old FDNY retiree Bob Lenney, who spent 25 years piloting Harvey." See:
http://www.fireboat.org/press/time_out_092701.asp

In fact, one of NIST's earlier reports stated, "According to the FDNY first-person interviews, water was never an issue at WTC 7 since firefighting was never started in the building." See:

9/11 third tower mystery 'solved'

By Mike Rudin
BBC, Conspiracy Files

The final mystery of 9/11 will soon be solved, according to US experts investigating the collapse of the third tower at the World Trade Center.

The 47-storey third tower, known as Tower Seven, collapsed seven hours after the twin towers.

Investigators are expected to say ordinary fires on several different floors caused the collapse.

Conspiracy theorists have argued that the third tower was brought down in a controlled demolition.

Unlike the twin towers, Tower Seven was not hit by a plane.

BBC to broadcast "The Conspiracy Files: 9/11 - The Third Tower" on July 6th

I'm very curious, the preview doesn't look too bad.

The Conspiracy Files: 9/11 - The Third Tower
Sunday, 6, July, 2008
2100 BST, BBC Two

The 47-storey tower collapsed seven hours after the Twin Towers and it has become the subject of heated speculation and a host of conspiracy theories which suggest it was brought down by a controlled demolition.

Nearly seven years on, the final official report on the World Trade Centre is due to be published in July.

Official investigators are expected to conclude that fire caused the collapse of this third tower at the World Trade Centre. But that makes this the first and only skyscraper in the world to collapse solely due to fire.

The Conspiracy Files explores many unanswered questions to try to find out what really happened, and why some people think there was a sinister plot to destroy the building.

BBC Conspiracy Files program DEBUNKED.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1882365905982811133&hl=en

Following the BBC's pathetic attempt at debunking the 911 truth movement, there is a new documentary directly debunking the program's methods and impartitality - the bedrock of what the BBC was founded on.

It is a slick, and highly impressive piece of filmmaking - and in my oppionion should be added to the front page, and also the recent media section - it really is that good!!

It has David Shayler - ex MI5 agent doing the naration: but have no fear, there is not a single mention/hint of the NPT's. It methodically disects the BBC's Conspiracy Files program, using the latest 911 truth evidence, and arguments. It is tight all the way through, and literally HAMMERS the BBC to the ground.

It is the best piece of counter debunking film yet found on the web (IMO).

911 – A TALE OF MISSING TAILS
Deconstructing the BBC2 Smear Job

Nathanael

On February 18, 2007 Britain’s world-renowned broadcast organization aired an hour-long episode in its series, The Conspiracy Files. It purported to debunk the “inside job” claims of those in the 911 Truth Community. Dylan Avery from the Internet movie “Loose Change”, James Fetzer from Scholars For 911 Truth and Alex Jones from Infowars.com were the token representatives of those who consider the US FedGov “official story” to be utter fabrications.

The goal of this analysis is not to expose each and every bogus or misleading aspect of the BBC2 video. It will be to concentrate on a few key examples within this TV show (it is not a fact based documentary) and let you decide whether the series’ tagline - “Separating Fact From Fiction” - is apt or just so much BBC-BS.

"9/11: The Conspiracy Files: The BBC Joins The Ranks of the Untrustworthy United States Media
by Debbie Lewis

Global Research, February 24, 2007

More than five years after the disaster of September 11, 2001, England’s BBC stepped into the ring of media outlets airing programs about the tragedy that is now referred to as “9/11” on February 18, 2007. The program, entitled “9/11: The Conspiracy Files,” took the time to interview some well-known Americans on both sides of the 9/11 argument. The hour-long program looked as if it might reveal something worthwhile, for about nine minutes. Guests like the outspoken Alex Jones, 911 Scholars for Truth Co-Founder Dr. Jim Fetzer, and Loose Change producer Dylan Avery actually got to make several excellent points before the real conspiracy was revealed.

IMO this is good news. My fear about the BBC hit piece and its effects disappeared.

It will only create more questions, more truthers,
more anger, and an overwhelming negative response to the BBC...

The BBC has produced two versions of its documentary on 9/11, one being a balanced example of investigative journalism and the other a sophisticated hit piece. According to a leading UK 9/11 truth activist, recently appointed US chief Garth Ancier is pressuring the corporation to air the version that portrays the 9/11 truth movement as a fringe cult of mythology in a bid to protect BBC's American market.

Prepare to be irritated, although I think this could backfire big time on the BBC. Under estimate us at your peril.

We're all conspiracy theorists at heart - bbc.co.uk

Why are conspiracy theories so popular? We may not always believe what we're told, but we still can't resist listening to them. Guy Smith, producer of 9/11: The Conspiracy Files, suggests the answer may lie deep within us all.

I admit it. If I'm being really honest, I can't deny that I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist. Perhaps we all are.

It's easy to dismiss all conspiracy theories as "bunkum", but remember just occasionally they do turn out to be true. Remember Watergate? Iran-contra? Special Branch collusion with loyalist terrorists in Northern Ireland?

As Jim Fetzer, one of the leading 9/11 conspiracy theorists says, "Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you."
