Lynn Margulis: 1938-2011

The family of Lynn Margulis has announced that she died at home on Tuesday, November 22, at the age of 73. She had suffered a serious hemorrhagic stroke on Friday, November 18 - so serious that there was no chance of recovery.

Having authored dozens of books and scientific papers, Margulis was awarded the National Medal of Science in 1999.

In 2004, she began looking into the evidence against the official account of 9/11. She not only accepted it but also – always known for her courage - announced her views, writing in 2007:

“Whoever is responsible for bringing to grisly fruition this new false-flag operation, which has been used to justify the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as unprecedented assaults on research, education, and civil liberties, must be perversely proud of their efficient handiwork. Certainly, 19 young Arab men and a man in a cave 7,000 miles away, no matter the level of their anger, could not have masterminded and carried out 9/11: the most effective television commercial in the history of Western civilization. I suggest that those of us aware and concerned demand that the glaringly erroneous official account of 9/11 be dismissed as a fraud and a new, thorough, and impartial investigation be undertaken."

Just putting a call out to people to help get even a single reference to Lynn Margulis' views on 9/11 onto her wikipedia page. The same guy - Arthur Rubin -- that deletes everything meaningful about challenges to the official story, continually deletes any mention of her views on 9/11 off of her page. He also continually deleted all 9/11 info off of Jesse Ventura's page -- claiming that the news stories were not real! -- but eventually he lost out. Persistance can pay off if the sources exist. Jesse Ventura continued to do interviews in numerous venues and so soon it became undeniable.

If you post anything by Alex Jones, wikipedia generally considers that source to be not reliable and numerous admins will delete it, so you have to post news stories from mainstream sources. One person posted a college newspaper story on Margulis' views, but it referenced the Alex Jones interview so wikipedia admins like Rubin say that that isn't enough and delete it.

It's important to get 9/11 info onto the pages of real scientists, so please help out by getting her info onto there.

Statement to this website 8/27/07: "The 9/11 tragedy is the most successful and most perverse publicity stunt in the history of public relations. I arrive at this conclusion largely as the result of the research and clear writing by David Ray Griffin in his fabulous books about 9/11. I first met him when he was a speaker at a scholarly conference unrelated to 9/11. He immediately impressed me as a brilliant, outstanding philosopher - theologian - author, a Whiteheadian scholar motivated by an intense curiosity to know everything possible about the world.

On the plane home and for the next two days I did little else but read Griffin’s first book about 9/11, The New Pearl Harbor. From there I went on to read his even more disturbing account of the bogus 9/11 Commission Report, The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions, which provides overwhelming evidence that the official story is contradictory, incomplete, and unbelievable.
