Says he hasn’t watched the whole thing, but is aware of the concern about 9/11, thinks "911: Press for Truth" while not mentioning "conspiracy" contains "one sided arguments" and it is his "strong belief" that a real investigation isn’t needed.

I've just read 2 recent posts on Daily Kos about 911. It appears they've been left standing as an example of what will happen to anyone who tries to raise the subject : ridicule, venom and tinfoil hat construction tips.

At the same time, this does show that 911 truth movement tactics now need to be overhauled if further progress is to be made.

I read in the Guardian recently that Loose Change is to be upgraded for cinema release. If this happens, it will sink the 911 truth movement. I'm not saying that it's deliberate disinformation and I'm not saying that anyone who disagrees with me is necessarily of that ilk either. However, whilst it may be commercially successful, it won't gain any converts and it will serve the same purpose for 911 deniers, that the dKos diaries have.

Vote to have David Cameron, U.K. Conservative Party leader, view "911 Press for Truth".

With enough votes, he will have to respond in some way. A unique opportunity to give a Blair opponent some cannon fodder. Voting requires registering on a blog, but only takes a few minutes.

Calling itself "your Independent Conservative Voice of the South Carolina Upstate", The Times Examiner has run a positive review of 911 Press for Truth originally published in The New American. In an interesting side note: the South Carolina paper also has a column defending "Christian Zionism". Seems like they are having some interesting debates down there.

The next day he announced that he was stepping down as chairman of the 9/11 Commission, the post to which President Bush had named him a couple of weeks earlier. What had caused the always poised and famously unflappable "Dr. K" to come unhinged? Why the abrupt resignation from the chairmanship he had so recently accepted amidst such fanfare?

The day before his resignation, Dr. Kissinger invited a small group of 9/11 family members to the New York office of Kissinger Associates, the premier global consulting service to presidents, princes, potentates, and corporate executives. The date was December 12, 2002. Kissinger, no doubt, expected them to be putty in his hands. After all, he is the fabled, gravelly voiced eminence who has strode across the world stage for the better part of half a century. Wars, revolutions, financial panics, political scandals, and economic crises — he has come through them all, not only unscathed but almost apotheosized to demigod status.

But the ever calm and supremely confident diplomat was unnerved when Laurie Van Auken, whose husband was killed in the World Trade Center, said the families wanted him to disclose his client list to assure there was no conflict of interest. She asked if there were any Saudis among his clients and if any were members of the bin Laden family.

Kristen Breitweiser, another 9/11 widow who was there, gives this account of the meeting: "Kissinger told us to trust him. We told him we couldn't.... Kissinger seemed stunned.... He didn't understand the fuss about his client list — they were all reputable people, he said. Kissinger seemed stricken and became unsteady. In reaching for his cup of coffee he bobbled, knocked the pot, spilled his own cup and nearly fell off the couch."

9/11 Press for Truth asks, for instance, why NORAD fighter jets weren't scrambled on that fateful morning. Fighters are sent up, on average, more than twice a week to check on planes that have strayed off course or are not responding to the FAA or local air towers. This happens routinely — more than 100 times per year, and without any major signals that a hijacking or terrorist attack is underway. Why, on September 11, 2001, did this air defense system uniquely — repeatedly — fail, even after the first plane hit the World Trade Center and it was blindingly apparent that we were under attack? The 9/11 Commission Report's explanation, which contradicts four previous explanations by federal officials on this matter (all four of which also contradict each other), is fraught with discrepancies, errors, omissions, and contradictions.

The 9/11 families are still demanding to know what really happened and why? Ditto for other unexplained (and seemingly inexplicable) subsequent events such as the repeated "escapes" of Osama bin Laden and other al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders in Afghanistan — apparently courtesy of the governments of Pakistan and the United States. 9/11 Press for Truth presents interviews with Gary Berntsen, the CIA's field commander in charge of Operation Jawbreaker, the agency's hunt for bin Laden in the caves of Tora Bora. Berntsen and others have charged that bin Laden and large convoys of his followers were repeatedly allowed to get away when they were about to be taken by U.S. forces. When the Taliban and al-Qaeda legions were trapped by U.S. forces in Kunduz, Afghanistan, in November 2001, the Pakistani government sent in planes to airlift the terrorists to safety in Pakistan, with the apparent blessing of the U.S. government.

This documentary is important not only for its content but for its professional packaging and high production values, which add to its credibility. But its main value may lie in the hope it gives that common, ordinary people — without office or power — can make a difference. It transcends partisan politics and should be seen by all Americans who are committed to justice and are determined to secure our country against similar — or worse — attacks in the future.

Finally, the best new 9-11 documentary is being screened in San Francisco! The venue has changed. This is the film to bring the whole family to see, that crosses all boundaries, telling the story from the point of view of the families who forced a Commission on a reluctant White House, only to be betrayed by the Commission, itself.

This film really deserves a major theatrical release, particularly in San Francisco, but so far it has been premiered in large theaters in Oakland and Palo Alto, on short notice between the anniversary events and the election. The film is one to wake up those who thought the 9/11 Commission was bipartisan and thorough or who believe that there really is a “War on Terrorism” and not massive war profiteering, extension of the American Empire, and lining the coffers of the new “Surveillance Industry” moguls.

9-11 Press For Truth Analysis Part I

This is the hot new video in the 9-11 Denial Movement, although that seems a bit odd as the film does not (according to those who've seen it all) include any mention of the popular conspiracy theories, like the Bumble Planes or the missile into the Pentagon, or the controlled demolition at the World Trade Center. I am going to analyze the film in short bits; today I'll look at the first 10 minutes.

The film starts with a brief intro of clips from 9-11, including the initial CNN report and the crash of Flight 175 into the South Tower. It then jumps to President Bush. The music at this point is rather harsh and jarring in the background as the president gives his speech that evening. The image splits into two, then four then 9 and so on, distancing us from him.

We are introduced to three of the four Jersey Girls, 9-11 widows from the Garden State. Note particularly the soft music as they are introduced. The voice over notes that these widows had questions. At the top of their list is the question of "Why had the US military defenses failed to stop any of the four hijacked planes?"

I will be attending for anyone interested. Along with Wendi Polinow, Fred Weber, DHS, and a few others.

The controversial new documentary 9/11: Press for Truth raises important questions concerning the executive branches wrap up following 9/11 and is sure to inspire controversy and debate.

The film tells the story of four women who united together after each losing a family member to the 9/11 disaster. Feeling that the government had not spent nearly enough time investigating 9/11 or preparing for such an attack after several previous warnings, the women took on their own investigation, rallying the press toward their cause and putting pressure on the executive branch to launch a more thorough investigation.

The film makes accusations that may seem excessive, even ridiculous, at first, but as the story continues and ample information is provided to back claims, the points that the film strives to make begin to seem well-founded.

The film certainly inspires deep thought by raising important questions. Why did the World Trade center bulding seven tower inadvertently collapse when it was not even hit by a plane? Were explosives inside the building? Why was more money spent investigating Monica Lewinsky during the Clinton administration than was spent investigating 9/11 in 2001? Why didn't we, as the film suggests, capture Osama Bin Laden when we had him cornered in a cave in Afghanistan?

Bush Signs the Reichstag Fire Decree

For the Bush family it was simply another day - like any other day - for the entitled nobility, who take from others that which does not belong to them.

On October 17, 2006, however, the latest Bush scoundrel outdid his kin at sucking the marrow of this nation and signed into law that which our founding fathers would have called treason, essentially taking the people's rights of liberty, justice, and property solely for himself. What Mr. Bush signed was, in essence, the final assault of a carefully orchestrated, six year long war on the Constitution of the United States.

I strongly believe that THIS is the video which will set people on the path to seriously doubt the official story. I've heard criticism that it's too LIHOP and that's justified to an extant. But that is where I started. My point is that LIHOP naturally leads to MIHOP when one takes in all the facts and surrounding corroborating evidence. I know people who just won't watch AJ or anything of the sort because they are blocked internally by labelling it as 'conspiracy theory'. 'Conspiracy theory' has come to mean total dismissal and total disregard for such information deemed as such by large segments of the population. 9/11 Press for Truth is very good at reaching an even greater audience IMO because it tells the personal struggle of the Jersey Girls with supported time-line based facts from Paul Thompson's work. I think it is more than deserving of our support. Also, the film leaves a lot to read between the lines - i.e. protection of Bin Laden, foreknowledge etc. There's more than enough room on that Top 100 for another Truth vid. Surely a man puking live on TV, a girl in a bikini, or some other mindlessness can give way to such a great film if it gets enough votes.
