A mis-represented interview in the Washington Post incorrectly claimed that Japan's MP Fujita said that the 9/11 hijackers are alive and that 9/11 was a complete hoax. Dr. David Ray has doubts that Fujita made such a claim, however, Dr. Griffin went on to confirm that 9/11 was a hoax and the hijackers were alive after 9/11/2001 in this March 9 interview with Russia Today.

David Aaronovitch, British author of Voodoo Histories, responds to a recent Salon.com interview question about which widely accepted conspiracy theory he finds the "most implausible" with the following:

"I think 9/11 is the most baroque. I can’t tell you what it feels like to see videos on YouTube of David Ray Griffin addressing people about it — one of America’s leading theologians expressing with absolute certainty the existence of a conspiracy so ludicrous it takes your breath away."

To offer one example of Aaronovitch's explanation of 9/11 in his book, consider this passage from page 257:

"On a more general level, the picture painted by the commission of inquiry into 9/11 was one of an Establishment taken utterly by surprise by the events of 11 September.... In the form it took, the attack was neither expected nor predicted; once it was under way it took some time to realise what was going on, and no one knew what might happen next."

The following article in Pakistan's "The News International" explains thermobaric bombs, which were applied to the caves in Tora Bora in December 2001, and which "are described as the most destructive non-nuclear bombs in existence".

In this article, Mr. Ferndale concludes: "Before December 2001, Tora Bora was an area rich in wildlife. It was, for example, home to huge flocks of the beautiful partridge, the chukor, native to that region. After December 2001, nothing could be found alive there; not even beetles and lizards. So either Osama bin Laden was not in those caves and tunnels in December 2001, or, if he was, then he was killed then and there."

Phone Calls from the 9/11 Airliners: Response to Questions Evoked by My Fifth Estate Interview by Prof David Ray Griffin

On November 27, 2009, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Fifth Estate program aired a show entitled “9/11: The Unofficial Story,”¹ for which I, along with a few other members of the 9/11 Truth Movement, was interviewed. In the most important part of my interview, I pointed out that, according to the FBI’s report on phone calls from the airliners provided in 2006 for the Moussaoui trial, Barbara Olson’s only call from Flight 77 was “unconnected” and hence lasted “0 seconds.” Although this Fifth Estate program showed only a brief portion of my discussion of alleged phone calls from the 9/11 airliners, its website subsequently made available a 22-minute video containing this discussion.²

Excellent interview with Dr. Griffin. He especially notes how the FBI itself admits that there was only one connection attempt made from Barbara Olson, which lasted "zero seconds," not to mention that Ted kept changing his story, first saying she called him on a seatback phone, then cell phone, then seatback again. And given that out of all the supposed 9/11 phone calls, Olson is the only passenger to mention "boxcutters," the FBI's admission is an intriguing one indeed.

Maher Osseiran, who has written about Osama bin Laden and his many videos, recently wrote a rather scathing critique of David Ray Griffin’s Osama bin Laden: Dead or Alive? I had planned to write about the book at more length, but, sparked by Osseiran’s article, I figure I’ll address one issue now.

In chapter 2, “Two Fake Bin Laden Videos in 2001,” Griffin discusses a recording that he calls the “October Video,” in which bin Laden makes statements some people regard as incriminating concerning the 9/11 attacks. Griffin points out that the contents of the video were previewed in the British media, but that when British Prime Minister Tony Blair then referred to them in a speech, he did not release the video.

MONTREAL – A public presentation hosted by a local advocacy group Saturday evening will focus on former U.S. president George W. Bush and former U.S. vice-president Dick Cheney in connection with the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

The main speaker will be John Boncore, a longtime political and native-rights activist.

Boncore, a Mohawk who prefers the native name Dacajeweiah – Splitting the Sky – is on a fund-raising tour to finance his trial, scheduled to begin in Calgary next March 8.

Boncore was arrested by Calgary police last March 17 and charged with obstruction of justice. He said he had been trying to carry out a citizen’s arrest of Bush on war-crimes charges, while the former president was visiting Calgary on a $400-a-plate speaking engagement.
