I don't even watch the Daily Show anymore. Since he had on Thomas Kean, the HEAD OF THE FUCKIN 9/11 COMMISSION, I haven't watched because of how disgusted I am with Stewart. I've never seen Jon Stewart question someone so gently and timidly as he did with Kean. I was astonished. I don't want to come out and say that Jon Stewart is an intentional gatekeeper, but he's definitely not about to join us in any public way. Nor will Colbert.

Before you all get carried away with pussies, let's recognize that for most television personalities there is simply no incentive to opine on such a controversial subject. And dumping on Colbert and Stewart is pointless: they are court jesters, not revolutionaries. Revolution has never been their role, and it never will be. They exist to make comedy out of monstrosity. Some think this is subversive; others think they put a human face on sociopathic elites.

The pressure should remain on the people whose jobs are supposed to be defined by protecting liberty and democracy: politicians, judges, and academics.

When the 911 hoax is exposed. They will look exactly like the court jesters they are.

Well, let's see--are they HUMAN? Do they believe in murdering and lying about it? Morality is a great incentive--maybe they lack it? They are not jesters--jesters TELL the hard truth, that's the whole point. These are just people who are making careers out of not mentioning 9/11 and getting liberals to tune in and not hear 9/11 discussed. Sorry, they had 5 years. I also got James Brolin's news and Robert Gates' issues up at the top of www.CrooksandLiars.com 's open thread for tonight (12/6/06) and I am happy as hell about that. Hopefully a lot of people will read the links I provided and do a little research and passing around of this information as well. Anyway. I'm glad you called me on my pessimism and helped me to realize we have to stay hopeful and positive. It's a tough balance, but we might as well have fun as we fight like hell to get this country back and the truth out. Peace.

Hopefully Moore, Colbert, Stewart et al will come around soon :)
