David Ray Griffin’s “The New Pearl Harbor Revisited” rated “Pick of the Week” by Publishers Weekly
The nearly 40% of American people who doubt the official account regarding the September 11, 2001 attacks will be gratified to learn that their misgivings have become recommended reading by a pillar of the book trade, Publishers Weekly.

Griffin's resume and intellectual ability is well established, but I think PW will be disturbed if they check some of the sources cited in the endnotes; Griffin refers to Judy Wood, Jim Fetzer, CIT and many other discredited/disreputable people as if they were credible.
Griffin's development of the "no 757 at the Pentagon" theory is the best i've come across; but it doesn't stand up when omitted facts are included, about the hundreds of eyewitnesses including at least 100 on record about a 757 hitting the Pentagon, the photos of AA 757 wreckage, witness testimony to AA 757 wreckage, the damage path and the 90' gash in the first floor with a fuselage-sized hole in the center. As far as i know, it's true the govt has never shown that it was Flight 77, and they are still sitting on probably hundreds of photos, video that may show the impact/approach, and probably other documents and witnesses. Why are the Bush Administration/Pentagon/FBI fueling the controversy about the Pentagon, instead of just releasing the evidence? Is it because a 757 did NOT hit the Pentagon, despite all the evidence that one did, or is because they want to fuel the controversy, divide the 9/11 truth movement and distract from the evidence that ties names to names, dates, places and events?

Also, Griffin is heavily promoting "voice-morphing" which would require the perps to have gotten a voice sample from a passenger who bought their ticket the day before 9/11, and makes the plot far more complex than using real passengers who thought they were being hijacked. Also, as Arabesque has pointed out here, voice-morphing is a "theory", and Griffin himself warned the 9/11 Truth Movement to stay away from theories and focus on evidence that disproves the official story:

Is this a sure sign of the apocolypse?
Conspiracy theorists of all stripes, and especially those of the 9/11 sub-species, are elated that Publisher's Weekly, America's most influential book review magazine and web site, selected a recent book by the dean of 9/11 tin-hatters, David Ray Griffin, as its "Web Pick of the Week" yesterday with a starred review. Is this a sure sign of the apocolypse?
The Griffin tome in question is his The New Pearl Harbor Revisited: 9/11, the Cover-Up, and the Expose, published in September by Olive Branch Press. Its appearance in Publishers Weekly marks the first time that one of Griffin's 9/11 works has received a mainstream review.
And what a review it was. PW writes:

For 136 years, America's book industry (including booksellers and librarians) have relied upon Publisher's Weekly to guide their purchases and recommendations. Regardless of where you come down on this controversial issue, the fact that a 9/11 CT book has broken through to the mainstream publishing industry is news of some sort.
For some the news is gratifying; other progressives like Howard Zinn see the ongoing, terminally obnoxious 9/11 Truth movement as a distraction from real work that needs to be done in the present and fodder for the wingnuts to call progressives "crazy."
Will the Obama victory takes some of the wind from the sails of the 9/11 Truth movement, which claims that polling shows that 40% of Americans doubt the official account of that day?
History suggests that it will. Like the Kennedy assassination, America seems ready to "move on."

Griffin's Ripples...
As we can see, the work that David Ray Griffin has done in collecting all of our 9/11 pebbles of information, meticuously and brilliantly assembling them, separating and choosing to use some of the pebbles and not others in an understandible way, and determindedly and diligently writing his books capturing new audiences and bringing forth new information out regarding the world's greatest scam, is having significant impact as the ripples he has made by throwing those pebbles into the pond make their way to the complacent boats comfortably at anchor.
Great KUDOS to ALL truthers who have contributed...and even to those who are afixed to the wierdest of considerations and theories because they have made it easier for us to separate the wheat from the chaff...the true whackos from the scientists...and the cointelpro from the naive...a process that we will FOREVER have to deal with because the brilliant "psy-op" executed by the HI PERPS on the day of 9/11 and after is still the powerful "first impression" to most people. Only time, the lessening of emotions and abundent FACTS presented the most positive of fashions will push the masses through those barriers.
