No, Joe.
The Commission was not "independent" and was not "bi-partisan", it was under the heel of Zelikow, and was, at best, "balanced partisanship".

Fantastic but...
Just a niggle about the editing: You cut hard after Lieberman's extraordinary assertion "I have no evidence that this really occurred... err" into the WTC 7 footage. This makes it impossible to judge whether he qualified that remark in some way. Better to let it run longer then cut or fade so there can be no suspicion of manipulation.
BTW. What's with all the Stars of David? Was this in a synagogue?

It may be clear as a bell to you or me but we need to hear what Lieberman says immediately after to defeat all other possible interpretations - e.g. "I have no evidence that this occurred... er.. that WTC 7 was deliberately omitted from the report which was primarily investigating the causes and failures leading up to 9/11..." Or something along those lines.
All I'm saying is that clarity is paramount. Look how Silverstein's comment has been spun. If Lieberman made this incredible statement let's leave no room for denial - otherwise people will exploit it.

How did Pimpin Turtle keep from flipping out while listening to such outrageous assertions? If I was there, the only thing that might have stopped me from opening my mouth would be that I might have started puking before I got to the rest room.
It's funny, normally I find myself telling people to tone it down in public. In this case, I wish he would have cranked it up a notch. But keeping his cool was probably the best thing to do. Since Lieberman is on the campaign trail, so to speak, we should probably continue to encourage him to get informed and get his facts straight.......... like he'll really listen. Lieberman is what I call "an active and deliberate 9/11 cover-up spinmeister," who knows exactly what went down on 9/11 (my opinion). He should be hounded everywhere he goes.

And you came right back with but it did collapse etc. I heard some moans in the audience but it sounded like shock not mock. You kept your cool and Joe looked the fool.
