History shows that people usually don't know when we are about to win. We are lousy at knowing whether we have a chance at victory.
When people struggling for liberty and justice face seemingly overwhelming power and impossible odds, they can suddenly breakthrough and win when things seem most hopeless and they least expect victory.
Why We Underestimate Our Chances
Why?
Well, for one thing, it is impossible to know what's going on in the other camp. The oppressors might seem invincible, but there are often schisms and rifts which are tearing the enemy apart from within. The bad guys might be extremely vulnerable because they are busy fighting with each other. They might be merely putting a false public image of unity . . . one which is dropped the minute the cameras stop rolling.
In addition - as I learned as a kid in karate class - even the toughest opponent has vulnerabilities. No matter how big the lug you're fighting is, hit him in one of his vulnerable spots, and he's going down. In struggles for freedom and justice as well, if you identify and focus on the bad guy's vulnerabilities, you can win no matter how poorly the fight seems to have been going.
Moreover, the opponent might be affected by what we do a lot more than we realize. You've seen it in horror and martial arts movies. The good guy has given his best shot at the monster. But the monster doesn't seem to be fazed in the least . . . he glowers and starts walking threateningly towards the good guy, who is flat on his back. It seems like the good guy is finished.
But at the last minute, the monster falls over and dies, and we see for the first time that the good guy had earlier mortally wounded the monster in some way.
There is often a lag time between what we do and our ability to see the effect on our opponents. It may be that our activism is having a tremendous effect and is pummeling the forces of tyranny, but that the weakened and wounded tyrants are simply bluffing and putting on a strong front to keep us intimidated. Don't stop fighting just because the effects of our actions haven't yet become visible.
In addition, it is often difficult at any given time to see which historical trend will end up being the most important one. In other words, there are always competing trends and forces, and something which doesn't seem very important at the time can end up winning the battle in the long-run.
As just one example, the Soviet Union collapsed partly because Russians watched images of prosperity on American tv, and decided they weren't going to put up with what they had. The communist leaders didn't think that letting in American tv programs would have such a huge influence on their population's willingness to put up with communist repression. But it did.
There are historical trends which we are not even currently aware of which might end up ensuring our victory.
(Finally, while the enemy might appear to have overwhelming force, they may be "paper tigers", with much weaker resources than it seems. More on this in a later essay.)
Don't Quit Now
Bottom line . . . don't quit now.
It is possible that we are mere days away from starting to hold the tyrants responsible for their war crimes, false flag terror, illegal spying, and other unlawful acts. The Red Cross finding Bush guilty of war crimes is significant (while it is not a U.S. institution, it is an important one).
The House Judiciary's non-impeachment impeachment hearing is clearly an attempt to bury real impeachment actions. But it may end up leading to real action.
Personally, when I've given up, I've often learned that I could have won had I just hung in there a little longer. I've regretted not persisting. I've learned to keep my head down and to keep on pushing.
We don't know how close to victory we are. Now is not the time to quit . . . it is time to redouble our efforts.
Of course, I understand how serious things are, and how dire our situation is. I am not trying to minimize those threats.
However, I think the main problem is that people are not taking any action because they have given up all hope.
We don't know what the future holds. In that very uncertainty, there lies the possibility that we can make things better.
Hope frees us to take action . . . it is therefore the most important thing.

If you think about how far the 9/11 truth movement has come over the last few years, it seems pretty obvious to me that we are heading for eventual victory. In comparison, look at the attempts of the Bush administration and the neocons to drum up public support to enable an attack on Iran: These efforts began just a few weeks after the Iraq invasion of 2003, and they have repeatedly and consistently failed.
We are winning and they are losing!

It is interesting that you are bringing up this point as just this past week I have thought the 911 truth movement may be causing the sudden embrace of alternative energies by big players in the U.S. .
It seems to me that there is a realization among many in the elite that since there are so many now questioning the official 911 story that the support isn't there for Dick Cheney's "war that won't end in our lifetime". It is now obvious to thinking people that Cheney's war on terror is really a guise for resource wars and that 911 was deceptively done to gain public support for the long term use of the U.S. military in them.
I think these new developments in positive peaceful directions are direct results of the 911 truth movement.

Obama will not pursue justice. The Democrats will not pursue justice. The Rethugs certrainly will not pursue justice.
So, where's the hope? A military coup d tat?
I thnik we have a great opportunity to streamline our message with bullet-proof evidence of lies and cover up and treason, while discarding all the theories and disinformation. We need high production values and skill, and iron-clad evidence that cannot be argued away. This has been my position for as long as long as I can remember. Perhaps such material will be produced, sent out on the airwaves, and convince a majority that US government complicity in the 9/11 attacks is a FACT and not a THEORY. It is proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

The tendency to mix 9/11 truth with global warming, secret NWO population reduction plans, chemtrails and so on, though interesting and valid in some contexts, is a big mistake for the movement as a whole, IMHO.
Stick with the facts, the most basic of which is simply: The official story is not supported by the evidence. Now what are you gonna do about it? I am in favor of blasting that message to anyone anywhere, and I don't care if people are obnoxious about how they do it (usually best to be polite), but adding in all the other stuff is counter-productive.

I think we have reached critical mass. I doubt there is anyone left who hasn't heard the debate. The only issue left is that people can't accept the facts. They don't want to believe the country they have loved all their life could be led by such evil. It seems to me a form of mental illness; denying the facts and living a fantasy. I'd bet the same thing happened in Nazi Germany.
Military and law enforcement
I want to add that the key to our success is getting to the military and law enforcement. Any tyrant needs only a small minority of thugs, properly motivated to control a "rebellious" population. Anyone with a conscience can be brought around to the good side once they realize they are defending evil.
I think that is where a lot of our efforts should be focused.

In that spirit of such prayers, I'd like to share a little short story I wrote yesterday which was inspired by a lovely lady telling truths in a courageously bold yet loving manner. It's written in the past tense, as if some old story teller far in our future, relaying that particular human realization which finally turned the tide of our self-destructive behavior, onto a path worthy of transcending The Ages:

Whether you choose to believe it or not, events around the attacks of September 11, 2001 are clouded in darkness. Voices that have asked for a deeper and more thorough look into the causes and details of this event have raised many unanswered questions and largely been ignored by the press and dominant thought in the public mind. Yet the questions keep coming through the crevices that are afforded to them at the moment.
Suppose there is some truth to the thought that Government (or government connected agents belonging to quasi-religious organizations) knowingly permitted the attacks to happen and even embellished them in order to achieve what it thought was the highest good of those they represent? If true, then there would be momentous consequences for the acts and directions this country has taken since then. If true, the only way to reset the course, would be to manifest a complete and honest account of what happened. South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation policy is a working model for how this can work.
To help the possibility of truth unraveling in this country, a pointed and well crafted prayer designed to function for the highest good, is put forth, with a plan to implement it.
The Prayer
Being that we are all intimately connected by our common inheritance of shared life on one planet and that our common shared higher intelligence governs life in both seen and unseen ways, and being that this common ancestry has its roots in cosmic intelligence or mind, and being that we therefore incarnate with this shared higher intelligence, we share its creative power as well. We are imbued with this creativity and its commonality.
As an outlet, voice, individual manifestation and aspiration for this cosmic intelligence, I claim the highest thought of calling forth truth telling on an unprecedented scale in the minds and hearts in high levels of government and other individuals. I call forth the energizing of personal courage where it matters the most to catalyze this movement of truth telling on a grand scale. I know that truth telling is at the foundation of healthy individual as well as a healthy societal life. I know that what has gone astray can be righted by a personal and public, fearless embrace of the truth, with safety for the truth teller.. The deepest space in the heart of all people knows this to be true and wants it revealed without delay. The refined and subtle physics for this is already in place and happening at this moment.

I release this prayer this intention this shared spark of light into the creative mind running through us all and through all of life. Happily, I know the glory of its fulfillment is accomplished already in ways unimaginable and realizable.

A small price to pay to clear the way for Corporate-Christ's reign on earth and a strangling control of Islam's riches. So if my hunch is correct here, that religious zealots, Christian militants if you will, are at work at the centers of power in the US is correct, we are dealing with people who have made a very strong connection between their religious beliefs and their beliefs about the use of power. All the more important therefore, to seriously investigate this further and seriously investigate using spiritual warfare, that is, the use of positive prayer, to put forth the intentions of cleansing this government in dire need of reform through Truth.
I've been an activists for a long time. Been roughed by police, nearly killed in black ops anti-environmental actions, stood in picket lines and walked in marches. It's time to use our minds in their highest capacity, with clear well stated intentions, based in the belief that we are all one and an injury to one is an injury to all. Powerful intention, focused intention, with positive prayer are our allies now. We all don't have to buy this, I'm not preaching, but I've seen it work in my life, healing people and making dangerous situations safe. For those who see this, great! Work it.

You bet it was compelling. Most truthers turn a deaf ear to Icke. I think this is a huge mistake. This man has been at it for 20 years and knows what he is talking about. I don't buy all he says, just about 95% of it. Even Alex Jones had to change his mind about Icke. He had Icke on his show a while back. Great show, by the way.
People are learning the truth
I'm living proof of that. Less than 2 months ago I stumbled on the 9/11 coincidences videos on YouTube. That lead me to David Ray Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor, and ultimately to the 9/11 Truth movement. Now I'm actively engaged in a local group and spreading the word any chance I get. Just 2 months ago I was still a blind sheep believing the official conspiracy theory. Now my eyes are open. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone and we cannot give up hope. The Truth will prevail.

Our groups in the SF bay area have been very busy, a few months ago our local truthaction group decided to start doing public outreach every weekend as well as on the 11th of every month, this has gone very well. We have been focusing on summer street fairs and getting out to places where 9/11 truth has not had much exposure.
Additionally, a new group in Walnut Creek has had its second meeting. This group is pretty much a 50/50 mix of committed Democrats and Republicans who normally would not associate with each other, but now realize through 9/11 truth the artificial nature of these partisan divides and are coming together to work for the future of all Americans.
Another group from eastern Contra Costa County will have its first meeting this Saturday. This is a very conservative area (as is Walnut Creek) and there are already some very committed 9/11 truth activists in this area, including members of a popular band who are planning on doing as many benefit concerts for 9/11 truth as we can book.
Many years ago I told some German students I was studying international relations with in university that the Berlin Wall would be coming down within 18 months, they scoffed at me and told me I was crazy. Fifteen months later it came down and they asked me how I knew. I told them that there is a human spiritual dynamic that is the most powerful force on earth and that if you are attuned to it you can "predict" all kinds of things. They smiled and were very excited and, at the end of the year, headed back to Berlin to open a nightclub. I still have to visit them there.
Finally, I have played and coached team sports all my life and the one sure thing I know about "winning" is...you never give up, you never stop working for victory until the last whistle blows or the final buzzer sounds (even then there is usually a "rematch"). [Preparation is the second "key" to winning, but that's a whole separate essay.]
We are rapidly approaching critical mass, brothers and sisters, so keep your chins up, keep smiling and spreading the truth, day by day, one person at a time.

Question: Just how close do you mean by "very close to critical mass"? I just don't see it -- the "very close" part. I'm confident the turning point is coming -- but not until well into the decade of the 'teens. Do you think it's likely to happen before then?

I agree for different reasons. For those who've missed the Classics, the Fates abhor hubris and presumption. Put more simply, its a jinx.
Its not over until it's over. That said, it does seem like a lot of dead weight is being shed in the movement. That alone will free up energy to be more effective and bring 911 Truth closer to critical mass.
Just don't confuse feelings of optimism with tangible progress.

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? Do we deserve to know how and why 9/11 happened?

People are simply still too comfortable, although the zone has shrunk to the point of unease!
I heard, someone say, "it's when the pizzas will no longer be delivered and the beer stores stand empty and Americans are unable to fire up their SUVs--that's when it will occur". Unfortunately, this is the honest truth in America!
IMHO, 911 Truth is about education, making people realize the fraud perpetrated on us. America has lost its way. Capitalism has been buoyed by human trafficking and drug smuggling and the rape of other countries for so long even the oligarchs fear the end is near. This fear was the psychological origin of the 9/11 event, itself, IMHO.
Our economic beliefs are just that--belief. If you question this conclusion, all you need to do is gaze at the dollar bill with its occult symbols. The symbols are meant to enchant the holder. As long as the public continues to believe, the oligarchs can perpetuate the pretense.

All this bad news is simply more information coming to Light, more Truth being revealed...or another way to put it, more negativity being purged from the planet and from our consciousness as revelations cause us to fathom what has transpired. Do not be discouraged by this process. The more that comes out, the better --the more it lends credibility to your efforts.
It is imperative that we keep perspective and continue to fight the good fight. The Truth IS coming out and you are a big part of that. Speaking Truth to Power can seem to be a daunting uphill battle, but what is at stake? Everything that matters in life. We are not alone in this and we have a responsibility to inform people even if it takes them beyond their comfort levels. We have become too comfortable and too complacent in this country. People have lost their inner compass that would show them what is Truth not only by facts but by how you feel inside. We all KNOW a lie when it hits us. Motivated by that gut feeling when something is "off", we can dig deeper to find concrete evidence to demonstrate that these feelings are not unfounded, as many of you have done time and time again.
NEVER GIVE UP this quest for Truth, or lose faith that it will spread and inform many others. We are the cause manifesting this effect.
The Truth is hiding in plain sight; may we ALL open our eyes and see, may we ALL be willing to adjust our perspective to consider new information, and may we stay grounded in the process.
Right now, here in New England, we are in the midst of severe weather...tremendous, torrential thunderstorms, lightning and some tornadic funnel clouds...but does this cause us to lose faith in the sunny summer skies above or in the subsequent positive results (greenery, flora & fauna abound) simply because, right now, dark clouds envelope us? Of course not!
So it is with these long-standing dark developments in our government...only good can come as these things come to pass and are revealed for scrutiny in the light of day. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE, OR THE IMPETUS TO TAKE ACTION!
