McKinney Goes Green

By Katie Paul | Newsweek Web Exclusive - Jul 15, 2008

Controversy has always been Cynthia McKinney's trademark. This election season, she may have finally found her perfect political home. Last weekend, the 53-year-old former Georgia congresswoman clinched the Green Party's presidential nomination; 35-year-old hip-hop activist and activist Rosa Clemente will be her running mate...

If you were to be elected, what would be item number one on the McKinney agenda?

Is it OK if I do several things simultaneously [laughs]? First of all, we have to instruct the Joint Chiefs of Staff to draw up an orderly withdrawal process for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. We would also begin work immediately on a budget to submit to Congress that satisfies human needs and doesn't reflect corporate greed as the current budget does. I would also remind the members of Congress swept into office with me as the New Broom Coalition that we could initiate impeachment proceedings. Also, I would make public the papers pertaining to certain tragedies in the life of our country, like the JKF assassination, Martin Luther King Jr., and the 9/11 Truth Movement-I would release everything the Bush administration knew about September 11. One more thing I would do is begin the process of putting into place a Department of Peace. It would be wonderful to rename the Department of State as the Department of Peace and have our ambassadors go around the world with a mission…to begin their engagement in the world based on human rights and peace...

I know who I'm voting for!

I think Dennis Kucinich would be the perfect first Secretary of Peace.

Whaddaya think?

Me Too

You know I will vote for her. I just wish she had a chance to win. She would make a great president. She can't be bought like the others. It's a shame all Americans can't see it. Too many brainwashed sheeple out there. The boob-tubers I call them.

The Presidency

of WE THE PEOPLE, of the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

GOVT. BY THE PEOPLE.

FOR THE PEOPLE.

That's the only thing that can make the difference.

Cynthia McKinney has no chance of winning the Presidency the way the system works now.

However she is running on principled ground so that she can make a STATEMENT.

A statement that burns Bright and Fiercely in the Spirit and the very Letter that the Great Document that the Constitution of the UNITED States of America is.

Others must make similar statements.

In State Legislatures, Town Halls, every county, every town, every city,

America.

Do not sleep.

Do not die.

Do not cower.

From 1776 to 911 2001, make no mistake, as long as there are those who know that FREEDOM & LIBERTY is LIFE Itself, the Tree of Liberty will keep on growing.

And grow she will.

May you find shelter and protection under her covering.

911 Truth is AS CONSTITUTIONAL as it gets. Its far from being just a piece of paper. The very lifeblood of the country. Its death is the nation's.

The CONSTITUTION is NOT going to "collapse" into pulverized dust no matter how much thermate/explosives or planes they throw at it

Forget not the deleterious corruption predating 9/11....

I know he's not particularly popular here but RP, at least for Secretary of Moolah (the weights and measures of trade currency).

Address to those frustrated by his holding of Truthers at arm length: As atrocious as 9/11 was and still is as a component of our ever evolving zeitgeist, is it not respectable that RP has been unwavering for 30 years over mountain stones like money, tax, and constitutional principal? UNMOVABLE in the face of sweeping corruption, vote fraud, terror fraud, war profiteering, indoctrinate media and this kind of endless list?

Just as we admire and uphold the boldness of CM and DK (all of them more than worthy in my book for ANY representative office from the Commander in Chief on down)... lets not forget one of our greatest scholars of currency, a constitutional republic, and the cosmically universal philosophy of liberty.

kay?

I'm good with RP

almost all issues EXCEPT his stand or lack thereof on Impeachment AND 911 Truth.

Check my blog for past comments.

I hope he turns around.

Did he not vote Yah this last week...

... on sending impeach to the judiciary committee? I think he did (one of only nine Republicans to do so).

As for 9/11, of course I wish he'd help us sift wheat from chaff more head on, but he HAS agreed the Commission Report is a coverup and supports a genuine investigation.

The only apology I would make for him, is that he's spent quite a bit of time addressing systemic moral hazard in econ policy and our societies' dangerous disregard for constitutional philosophy. For that, he's more than made up for a politician's due diligence swinging at briar patch psyops like 9/11 (we're the ones doing that). In other words... that man has been carrying MORE THAN his far share of heavy water. And he's been doing that longer than many of us have been alive.

(I know you're good with RP, constitutional911... I'm speaking to those who've failed to acknowledge what the man has been doing for decades far beyond the more recent upsurge in truth activism. Take care).

RP has been a bastion and a

RP has been a bastion and a strong proponent of Constitutional Rule of Law and Governance.

Dr. Paul is not doubt a Constitutional Genius but I do wish he was more REPUBLIC and less Republican.

As a conservative totally disgusted by the Treachery of the Con$servatives and Neo-Cons, I don't see any future for the Republican party.

Dr Paul was a bit wishy washy on Impeachment. Its very very late for him to get on the bandwagon.

Pls see: Why the Double Standards? Can't We Hold Our Congressional Representatives to Full Accountability?

......Why does Ron Paul have this view on IMPEACHMENT?

http://www.lahontanvalleynews.com/article/20071215/News/112150044

"........Paul told the LVN earlier that the decision to invade Iraq in 2003 without a declaration of war by Congress was the most egregious violation of the Constitution in the last 20 years. But when asked why he hasn't supported the impeachment of President Bush, Paul responded that impeachment is the duty of the opposing party, and he would have to consider if a president willfully or ignorantly deserved impeachment before making a decision....."

Is that a proper Constitutional Position? Ron Paul thinks that it is only the duty of the opposition to Impeach.

And he has to "consider" if the President deserved impeachment. Amazing and Shocking.

The Grounds for Impeachment is Voluminous even without 911........

RP is human and is either deceived or just unable to grasp 911 Truth.

At least he has seen the light on Impeachment. Better late than never.

He has tried to do what he could and for that I will have to respect Dr. Paul

Now the mantle is on the next generation of Citizens and Patriots. Its up to us.

Impeach. Investigate 911. Prosecute. Jail.

An example must be made so that we DO NOT HAVE Future Rumsfelds, Cheneys and Bushes etc.

Godspeed.

May the Republic and her Virtues Live On in the Hearts of Minds of Every Patriot & Truth Seeker out there.

I wish I could vote in the USA

Not only will she be ignored, she will be gagged and ridiculed by the corrupt corporate mass media.
God I love her.
Very likely the bravest and most honest politician alive and beautiful as well:-)
Unfortunately, everything she stands for is a threat to the imperialists who are really in control as well as the denialists who don't want to know the real American history.

I am voting for her!

......... Lets get rid of the unfederal no reserve bank as well, and eliminate our controlled major media.
