This week our campaign will focus on MSNBC host Keith Olbermann. He has repeatedly displayed the ability to see through the lies of the Bush administration in the past, and now we need to band together in a concerted effort to get him to seriously look at the evidence of a 9/11 coverup. We ask that you take two minutes to fax Keith Olbermann’s office at MSNBC asking him to discuss some of the major issues of the 9/11 truth movement. Dear Keith Olbermann,

I have been a fan of your show for a long time and have always been pleased by your willingness to call the Bush administration out on their lies and speak truth to power. It is my deeply held conviction that democracy cannot survive without journalism of this sort. I am writing to you appealing to your journalistic integrity and your capacity for rational analysis to please investigate the events of September 11th, 2001 more thoroughly.

As you know, the Twin Towers were attacked that day in lower Manhattan by hijacked jumbo jets. The towers subsequently collapsed, allegedly the result of the jets crashing into the towers. What you might not be aware of is the fact that there was a third tower that collapsed that day. I am referring to World Trade Center Building 7, which collapsed completely into its own footprint in around 7 seconds at approximately 5 :20 in the evening of September 11th. The collapse itself was highly suspicious and reminiscent of those controlled demolitions we have all seen of the hotels in Las Vegas on TV. The collapse of Building 7 is made even more suspicious due to the fact that it has not yet been explained nearly seven years later. The National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST,) the federal agency charged with investigating the collapse, has repeatedly delayed the publication of its investigation . The collapse is eye-opening and I encourage you to do a quick search on Google or Youtube for “WTC7 collapse” to see it from many angles.

The long list of anomalies on that day is best referenced in the book “9/11 Contadictions : An Open Letter to Congress and the Press” by author David Ray Griffin, and I encourage you to read that book in order to get an idea of how inadequately 9/11 has been investigated. As you probably know, the co-chairman of the 9/11 Commission, Lee Hamilton, has stated publicly that the commission was “setup to fail” and “stonewalled by the CIA.” This fact underscores the urgent need for a new, independent investigation into the events of September 11th, 2001.

Hundreds of family members insist the 9/11 commission ignored most of their questions and is engaged in a cover-up. Their demands for a new, independent investigation into 9/11 that will answer all their questions is being joined by a growing chorus of ex-military, intelligence, architects, engineers, physicists, pilots, and other experts in their field, all of whom are demanding a new investigation into 9/11. One person from that website I would specifically recommend you bring on your show is Mr. William Rodriguez, the “last man out” of the WTC who saved many lives that day and insists he witnessed explosions in the basement of the North Tower before the first plane hit. I would also suggest you interview the Jersey Girls and the other family members for their opinions on the matter.

Mr. Olbermann, the official story of 9/11 needs a new, independent investigation. There are so many holes in the official story that it just won’t float anymore. Please sir, at this critical juncture in our nation’s history, it is more important than ever that the real facts about 9/11 are brought to light by responsible journalists such as yourself. Look at what has happened to our republic since 9/11. The PATRIOT Act, warrentless wiretapping, the loss of Habeas Corpus, Gitmo, “free-speech zones,” The Military Commissions Act, and of course the illegal occupation of Iraq which you have addressed so well on your show. The erosion of our Constitution has begun as a result of the climate of fear generated after 9/11. None of these things could have happened without 9/11, and thus it is imperative that we investigate the events of 9/11 as fully as possible. Your help in this regard would be much appreciated.
