9/11 truth movement makes Victoria pit stop to poke holes in official version of events
Lost among the rubble and rolling dust clouds when New York City’s World Trade Center twin towers fell to earth almost seven years ago, was the fact they were not the only Manhattan buildings reduced to debris on September 11, 2001. Seven hours after the north tower buckled, WTC building 7, a 47-storey skyscraper located 120 metres from the carnage of the crash site, also folded in on itself in a tidy pile of steel and iron beams.
It is this singular event, caught on video by news crews from a variety of angles, that today provides much of the ammunition for a blueprint-minded segment of the 9/11 truth movement, the loose affiliation of sceptical folk who believe there is more to the September 11 story than official government reports and complacent media parroting would have the world believe.
Richard Gage, the founding member of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, will be in Victoria this week encouraging residents to cast a critical eye on what they’ve been told about the autumn day that uncorked a worldwide war on terrorism—a war to which the Canadian government has lent unwavering moral and military support.
“The over 300 architects and engineers who are members of AE9/11Truth are demanding a new investigation based on the overwhelming evidence for controlled demolition in all three World Trade Center high-rise collapses,” San Francisco-based Gage told Monday “It is very important that we talk about [WTC 7] because it collapsed at virtually free-fall speed, through the path of greatest resistance, symmetrically and smoothly, into its own footprint. This is extremely important and disturbing to see, because you can instantly recognize the comparison to a classic controlled explosion.” ......
