I'm inclined to trek to
I'm inclined to trek to California to visit my relatives and attend this event, but the "911 was an inside job" chant is always a turn off to me. Always has been. It's my only gripe.
Perhaps I bite my lip and suck it up.

... yet the cover-up was and still IS an inside job. Correct?
That disturbs me much much more.
If chanting "911 was an inside job" seems a bit of a overstatement... then I say LET THEM complain, wince, oppose, and contend otherwise... if for only along that path someone will reach that hardcore conclusion that The Job is an ongoing and current danger to us all, far beyond some singular dastardly deed years ago.
Don't bite your lip... we just suck it up for the hard work remaining in front of us. When I get frustrated and start cursing... I have to remind MYSELF of my own advise like this.
Yet agitprop is a weapon well honed and employed by our enemy... Sun Tsu offered advice for such weapons let loose on the battlefield. Unlike other technologies more prone to blow-back, agitprop lends itself to our hands far better than torture and dirty-bombs. If I have to make a deal with the devil of good intentions... I'd rather take my chances with a jury considering my defense with torturous words, rather than the fallacious "anticipatory self-defense" through torturous acts.

My issue lies with the mantra being used to assert that we know what the truth is.
We are far better off demanding answers and accountability by pointing out the questions, contradictions, and skepticism.
If our goal is to educate and inform, shouting at people like a cult is not the way to go. Solidarity in our message is a must, but so is a good message.

9/11 is sooo complex that I feel the same way. But I am still going and will chant other things such as "investigate 9/11" among other phrases that I agree with.
I am going because the more people that show up the harder it is for people to think that it's a minority of people that disagree with the government story of 9/11. Many people will only start to speak up/out when they see that there is safety in numbers, so please do join us!
And have fun doing it! That's what I am focusing on. I am going to bring several other people that normally don't do this type of activism work and I am going to treat them right to good food and fun afterwards. =)

"Investigate 9/11" or "Demand 9/11 Truth"
are better phrases in my view than "9/11 Was an Inside Job."
They imply that something is dramatically wrong with the official story without putting off those who might be potential allies.
On the other hand, we can know that it was an inside job without knowing exactly who was responsible, since controlled demolition implies that it wasn't al-Qaeda. War Games also show that insiders were at work during these events, so I believe "Inside Job" still has a place in certain contexts and has served a purpose in the past.
How about ...
"9/11 ... TREASON" ----- I like that phrase, short, simple and to the point, "9/11 truth ends the war" is also a great one.

I made signs for our "Tea Party" with "9/11 Treason"
on them, as well as "9/11 Tyranny".
It's always good to have a mix of signs, I use "9/11 Truth Ends The 9/11 Wars" when I join with peace, anti-war and anti-torture demonstrations.
The "Conception Dollars" are very popular at these events, as well.

Have you seen the massive blue banner we used on April 11 for Freeway blogging? Check our youtube account (youtube.com/wearechangela). Now imagine six blue banners in a row held high over our heads while marching down Haight Street on May 11, each banner with a direct statement about 9-11.
Even without any messages, 6 of those banners, each 5' x 21', together one after another in a row will be a sight to see. This will be the greatest 9-11 Truth march yet. Wanna help hold a banner? We need you there!

One of my personal favorites
But some in our group made us amend it to "9/11truth ends the 9/11wars" as they always strive to be precise.
I also have quite a few signs and stickers with that message on them, not to mention a bright orange windbreaker with that message on the back.
The most important thing is just to get out in public as often as possible and talk to people.
Calm one-on-one dialogue is the most effective way of getting the message across and understood.

and we rarely use it in SF anymore. I don't put it on any of my signs, either.
I much prefer the chants "No peace without justice. No justice without truth." and "9/11 truth NOW."

When you're carrying 9/11 truth signs
it is abundantly clear what the message is.
Around here our main job is to get people to take a long hard look at the events of 9/11/01. Chanting "9/11 was an inside job" through a bullhorn just drives those folks away, is that what you want us to do?
Those who are already hip to the truth know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. The truth movement effectively owns the word "truth" in demonstrations now and chants like these further co-opt those marching in peace, anti-war and anti-torture marches to our cause, they join us to our great advantage. That's a very good thing, yes?
No, actually, I don't believe 9/11 was an inside job, I KNOW IT WAS. There is absolutely no way for it to have gone down the way it did without some elements within the U.S. government being involved. Glad we got that squared away.
(btw, I'm not afraid of anything, fear is useless other than to keep children from putting their hands in fire, etc.)
What I do believe in is using the best strategy and tactics in order to achieve our goal, which is getting real investigations and justice. I also believe in analyzing our work thoroughly and choosing what works best to increase our message efficiency.
Message management is incredibly important and gets far too little attention, imo.

Maybe if we get enough people rolling in Friday evening we can go surround Pelosi's office and ask some uncomfortable questions about the "state of emergency" and "continuity of government".
There's plenty of nearby camping if folks want to keep the costs down. Just look south of SF and in western Marin County.

I have found inductive reasoning to be far more effective than deductive arguments.
The main point is to get to SF* in May and chant with us. Pass out flyers and converse with the public, too.
It's big fun, it's healthy and it works great. We even have a Colombo bakery here, just for you.

....I would only add that it might be a good idea to invite the anti-spraying activists in California to march with you. It would be good exposure for their cause as well, and there are a lot of people in California right now pissed off about these sprayings (for those who don't know about them, click this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_brown_apple_moth_controversy
These people would not need to be convinced of the government's capability to inflict harm on its own citizens. They are witnessing it first hand. And they are no strangers to mass media covering things up, as they are watching it happen before their eyes. With them on our side we could march millions strong throughout California. But great work guys truly. I wish I lived in California, or anywhere on the west coast for that matter.

I definitely consider myself an activist for both causes. "Endgame" (with possibly "Terrorstorm" as a follow-up) could be a good film to unite the two groups. EG does cover the spraying issue, if not for just a few brief moments (there was an example in England I believe). I find a lot of the anti-spray crowd believes there is a more sinister reason (or truth) behind the spraying from the story we are being told (can you say "9/11"?).

Get People to this Event!
Please, everybody, do what you have to do to get to this event, and do what you have to do to encourage others to go. Download and make 100s of copies of the flyers that Cheryl designed and pass them out and post them up. This is a fantastic opportunity for the 9-11 Truth Movement to have an incredible outreach, visibility and solidarity event! Make plans now.

Strong statements
Phrasing of banners is crucial. Everything must be done to maximize the awakening of one hundred million or so (safe estimate, I believe) who are poised to join the movement for 9/11 Truth. From now until November is our window. The message must be clear and bold. Black lettering on a white background generates quick comprehension. Statements of fact carry weight. "9/11 was and inside job" is almost certainly true, but not yet a fact. General statements of truth and justice show weakness. This is the worst possible impression to give. Avoid soft statements about the way the world should be. This is not some mamby pamby worn-out liberal march on everything. This is a movement to attack the vulnerable underbelly of a massive corporate / military / banking monster, so vile in its nature that we turn away in horror and disbelief. But we must not. This is good vs evil. Name the crime. give it the emotion it deserves. Murder of thousands in the USA. Murder of half a million in Iraq. A banner along the lines of "The 9/11 murders must be investigated!" or "George Bush's about the 9/11 murders is a towering lie!"
