Your very own co-founder of 9/11Blogger has finally written a book! '9/11 Truther' details Jon's experiences in the 9/11 truth movement and why it is still vitally important to the welfare of the world that the event be fully investigated for the purposes of justice, accountability, and peace.

Jon is a personal friend of mine whose work I've followed for years. I've often played the role of sounding board for Jon, a man whose early life experiences mirror many of my own.
He is a working class gentleman who has dedicated his life to spreading the message of the Jersey Girls, to doing everything in his power to help the forgotten, neglected, and ailing 9/11 First Responders, and to spreading the ideas and beliefs of many great American icons such as Martin Luther King, Jr and Cindy Sheehan.
Speaking of Cindy Sheehan, she was kind enough to author the foreword to Jons' book. Cindy is an elegant wordsmith. She is a woman that has earned my utmost respect for being consistent, outspoken, and incendiary. She does not disappoint here.

Today, Secrecy Kills.com released part 1 of their audio documentary, 'Who Is Rich Blee?'

The investigative work was originally to be released on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, but the creators of the documentary were threatened with federal prosecution by the CIA because they had unearthed the names of two CIA agents involved in the withholding of key information from the FBI and Whitehouse.

Ray Nowosielski and John Duffy released a statement in response to the CIA threat that is also available on their website.

[This is an outstanding piece of journalism that has taken Ray and John several years to bring to us. The work of people like Paul Thompson and Kevin Fenton has been a tremendous help to the 9/11 truth, justice, and accountability movement for many years now. Our experiences and what we do with them shape and determine our trajectory. Often, they change us gradually; sometimes, they are immediately life altering. So much so that months, even years later, a thought, a song, even an aroma can transport us, abruptly, into the past. Some events are wonderful. Others are brutal.

The phone call from my sister, telling me that Chase was killed in Iraq, is among the brutal.

My nephew, Chase Comley, died a little over five years ago. He enlisted in the military because he believed our freedoms were in jeopardy, a message George Bush gaveled into the American psyche after 19 hijackers used planes as weapons to attack US symbols of power on 9/11.

This week, we mark the ninth anniversary of that turning point, the day that invokes images of death and destruction, and the date that heralded our post-9/11 world with its increased militarism/imperialism resulting in more death and destruction, mainstream media failure, the Patriot Act, a surveillance state, torture, indefinite detention, military tribunals, corporatism, economic collapse, and Islamophobia.

WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff.

Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-site, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.

This was my first exposure to Ms. Wasfi, and when I heard that my good friend Jon Gold was helping Betsy Orr Metz organize the Treason In America conference, I bugged Jon for days telling him that he should get Dahlia an invite. Jon took the consideration, did his own research, and found Dahlia to be an excellent candidate for someone who should be speaking at the conference.

The stars aligned and the decision to invite her was made. Thank you to Jon Gold, Betsy Metz, and the lovely Dahlia Wasfi for giving us an excellent presentation on the realities of war and occupation in the middle east.

On Saturday March 20th, a huge anti-war rally and march was held at Lafayette Park in Washington D.C. It was sponsored by A.N.S.W.E.R. Speakers included Cindy Sheehan, Ann Wright, Ralph Nader, Matthis Chiroux, Mike Ferner, and many others.

The march ended in front of the White House. Some of the protesters placed faux coffins representing different countries we have harmed during these illegal wars against the fence in front of the White House. The Park Police set up a perimeter around these coffins using the “POLICE DO NOT CROSS” tape. My guess would be it was around 50ft x 50ft on the front sidewalk of the White House. People like Matthis Chiroux laid down in front of the coffins to protest. If you entered this zone, you were arrested. I refer to it as an arbitrary “arrest zone.”

Cindy Sheehan, myself, and others walked through the crowd until we reached the barrier closest to those laying down on the sidewalk. As you can see in this video, the barrier failed, and Cindy Sheehan walked across. As soon as she entered the “arrest zone,” the Park Police immediately grabbed her, and handcuffed her. They were literally manhandling her.

'Green Jobs' Adviser's Past Could Stir Trouble for White House at Critical Time

President Obama's "green jobs" adviser could become a mounting liability for the Obama administration, as the latest revelation about Van Jones shows his belief that the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks may have been an inside job.

Jones joined the "9/11 truther" movement by signing a statement in 2004 calling for then-New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and others to launch an investigation into evidence that suggests "people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war."

The statement asked a series of critical questions hinting at Bush administration involvement in the attacks and called for "deeper inquiry." It was also signed by former Rep. Cynthia McKinney and Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans.

The discovery comes after Jones had to apologize Wednesday night for "offensive words" he uttered in February when he called Republicans "assholes." He said the remarks "do not reflect the views of this administration" and its bipartisan aims.

But such statements just scratch the surface of Jones' past commentary.

Leaked confidential NIST documents concerning the investigation into the collapse of WTC 7, the 47-storey skyscraper that was not hit by a plane but imploded in under seven seconds on 9/11, reveal that an "unusual" event preceded the collapse of the building - a "jet of flames" that shot out of several windows after most of the fire had already died down.

The documents - entitled Confidential and Predecisonal Document NIST Report on Building 7 - form the preamble for a long-awaited final verdict on what caused a structurally reinforced building to fall like a controlled demolition despite suffering relatively minimal fire damage.

Chapter 1: WTC 7 Visual Evidence, Damage Estimates, and Timeline Analysis (William Pitts) is a thorough analysis of window fires by video and picture evidence, which concludes that all major fires before floors 7 and 13 died out prior to collapse.

The report states, "At 4:38 p.m. all of the windows between 13-44A and 13-47C were open, and the fires responsible for opening the windows had died down to the point where they could no longer be observed."

Here's an idea: To celebrate AE911Truth's reaching of 300 architects and Engineers, and 1,145 other supporters, I propose a spontaneous money bomb to help continue supporting Richard Gage's excellent work.

Ideally, folks could donate $300 or as much as they can to show support of his work.

Let's also continue to send local architects and engineers copies of Richard's truth cards and DVDs to get that number up to 1000 A/E professionals by 9.11.08.

Loose Change Final Cut Release Date Announced
Internet phenomenon to arrive November 11th, features all-new material and interviews

After many months of anticipation, a release date has finally been announced for Loose Change Final Cut, the pre-eminent 9/11 truth documentary. The film, which features all-new material and interviews, will hit the web on November 11th and be available on DVD shortly after.

The original Loose Change and Loose Change 2nd Edition have been viewed millions of times over the Internet, making it one of the most watched movies in history, but the Final Cut goes above and beyond, making it not simply the third in a trilogy but a completely new film with oodles of unseen footage, commentary, interviews and eyewitness testimony.

The film will first be available online as a digital media download at PrisonPlanet.com, Infowars.com and LooseChange911.com on November 11th, before orders will be taken for the DVD a week later and shipped out on November 26th.
