The 9/11 Commission Was Set Up To Fail

This is a very brief clip from a question and answer session Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton gave at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. on 9/11/2006. As representatives of the family members, and family members themselves called for a new investigation right across the hall.

The Same Rules Apply

The White House initially said that the President and VP would not testify before the 9/11 Commission. Then they said they would give the Commission about a 1/2 hour. Of course, through all of this we were livid and anytime the press wanted to hear our views on it, we did so. Finally, the WH announced that Bush & Cheney would meet with the commission on a limited basis, not under oath, not transcribed, only two commissioners, Kean & Hamilton.

We sent the attached press statement out (see below), but were told that they were testifying together and that was how it was going to be. - 9/11 Family Member and "Jersey Girl" Patty Casazza

Critics Demand Resignation Of U.N. Official Who Wants Probe Of 9/11 "Inside Job" Theories

Critics are calling for the resignation of a U.N. official who publicly supports investigating theories that the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were an "inside job."

Richard Falk, the special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, investigates alleged Israeli violations of human rights law for the U.N.’s Human Rights Council.

But the former Princeton professor would also like to investigate whether “some sort of controlled explosion from within” destroyed the Twin Towers, he told FOXNews.com.

“I do think there are questions that haven’t been answered, questions about the way the buildings collapsed and the failure to heed a variety of signals that there was danger coming,” Falk said.

“I think [his beliefs are] fruitcake city, but among many delegations to the U.N. it’s probably the conventional wisdom,” said John Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. known for his straight talk on U.N. hypocrisy.

Flashback: What We Don't Know About 9/11 Hurts Us

In early 2005, a monograph was released from the 9/11 Commission. It caused QUITE an uproar. It's interesting to note that the author of this article, Robert Scheer, was fired in November of 2005. He appeared on Democracy Now! to talk about it. The following is his article, as well as the September 11th Advocates letter, and Kyle Hence's comment from when this was originally posted on 911Citizenswatch.org - Jon

Would George W. Bush have been reelected president if the public understood how much responsibility his administration bears for allowing the 9/11 attacks to succeed?

Dennis Kucinich Includes 9/11 In Articles Of Impeachment

Dennis Kucinich just introduced 35 articles of impeachment. Number 33 had to do with criminal negligence with regard to 9/11. Number 34 had to do with obstruction of justice with regard to 9/11. Number 35 had to do with how this administration has treated the 9/11 First Responders.

Thank you Dennis Kucinich!

Would The United Nations Be Able To Do A Real Investigation Into The Attacks?

I know a lot of people have an opinion about the United Nations, and that we tried LONG AGO to get it to investigate the attacks, and they ignored us, but would this be a viable option for us to focus our efforts? I saw that Pakistan recently asked the United Nations to investigate the Bhutto Assassination.

Blair Gadsby, the 45-year-old former owner of an adult-care home and an adjunct professor of religious studies at a community college, never figured he would be the type of person to stage a hunger strike outside the Phoenix office of U.S. Sen. John McCain.

But about a year ago, Gadsby convinced himself that the U.S. government, not terrorists, demolished the World Trade Center buildings in New York on Sept. 11, 2001. And that belief has turned him into a fasting activist.

“I’ve never been politically active until the 9/11 subject came up,” he said, sitting on a fabric folding chair last week along 16th Street, outside the complex that houses McCain’s Phoenix office.

Gadsby’s vigil on the sidewalk goes from sunrise to sunset. He holds up a sign that features a Canadian tabloid’s front-page photo of a jet hitting one of the towers. Underneath is his count of the days he has been fasting. Today, it will be Day 15.

For Blair Gadsby

Eric Williams is someone that helped with the 9/11 Accountability Conference, and released a "Holocaust Revisionism" book I think within days or a week within the conference. Stephen Lemons wrote a lot of derogatory things about us then too. This is for Blair Gadsby.

Senate Report: Bush Used Iraq Intel He Knew Was False

More than five years after the initial invasion of Iraq, the Senate Intelligence Committee has finally gone on the record: the Bush administration misused, and in some cases disregarded, intelligence which led the nation into war. The two final sections of a long-delayed and much anticipated "Phase II" report on the Bush administration's use of prewar intelligence, released on Thursday morning, accuse senior White House officials of repeatedly misrepresenting the threat posed by Iraq.

In addition, the report on Iraq war intelligence harshly criticizes a Pentagon office for executing "inappropriate, sensitive intelligence activities" without the proper knowledge of the State Department and other agencies.

Guantanamo Court Day For Alleged 9/11 Mastermind

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) — The military expects a confrontational hearing when the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and four alleged confederates are brought before a Marine colonel presiding over their war-crimes tribunal.

At an arraignment scheduled for Thursday, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was expected to make his first public appearance since being captured in Pakistan in 2003, held in CIA custody at secret sites and transferred to Guantanamo in 2006.

Air Force Brig. Gen. Tom Hartmann, a top tribunal official, told dozens of journalists late Wednesday he expects defense lawyers will robustly argue points with prosecutors and Judge Ralph Kohlmann on behalf of their clients, who face the death penalty.

"Expect to see challenges tomorrow, and the intensity of the process," Hartmann said at a briefing in an abandoned aircraft hangar near the courthouse at this isolated U.S. Navy base.

Feels Like A Setup...

Apparently this summer, the BBC is releasing a documentary that is supposed to "debunk" the Controlled Demolition hypothesis. At the same time, NIST is supposed to release its final report with regard to WTC7.

I imagine that when this happens, the media is going to pounce on it, and proclaim that the "9/11 Truth Movement" is dead.

I can't help but notice that WTC7 is being promoted moreso than it ever has been before by this movement in recent months. As if that's the only thing we stand for.

I'm not going to lie and say I'm not concerned about this predicament because I am.

9/11 Victims' Families Send Letter Decrying Politicization Of Guantánamo Military Commissions

NEW YORK — Family members of 9/11 victims have sent a letter today to Susan Crawford, Convening Authority of the Guantánamo military commissions, sharply criticizing the politicization of the system. According to news reports, a Pentagon representative secretly invited an outspoken supporter of the military commissions to Guantánamo Bay for Thursday's arraignment of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other detainees on terrorism-related charges, but did not make this option available to family members who have expressed criticism of the commissions. This type of politicization is symptomatic of the unconstitutional and biased tribunal system, according to the American Civil Liberties Union.
