Jesse Ventura discusses 9/11 on The View: Liz Hasslebeck tries to "school" Jesse with Popular Mechanics talking points

Unfortunately, some in the audience began to applaud Hasslebeck for "debunking" the WTC demolition with Popular Mechanics talking points about how the steel didn't need to melt, only weaken.

Fortunately, the applause was limited and didn't really blossom into a full round of applause. And the majority of applause goes to the words out of Jesse's mouth.

Also on the unfortunate list: Ventura once again failed to mention ae911truth.org. I'm going to e-mail Dick Russell, Jesse's publicist and co-writer, and relay this piece of advice.

David Ray Griffin: HuffPost's absurd stand on "conspiracy theories"

HuffPost’s absurd stand on “conspiracy theories” (David Ray Griffin) - Mark Crispin Miller's blog

From David Ray Griffin:

Mark,

It’s good to have the Huffington Post’s policy on “conspiracy theories” in black and white.

So now someone needs to inform them that they cannot accept any posts that state, or imply, that al-Qaeda was responsible for the 9/11 attacks, for that is a conspiracy theory.

That has been acknowledged by Cass Sunstein, the Chicago-and-then-Harvard professor of law who was tapped by President Obama to direct OIRA, the executive branch’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (which is under the Office of Management and Budget).

In a 2009 article entitled “Conspiracy Theories,” he and his Harvard co-author wrote:

“The theory that Al-Qaeda was responsible for 9/11 is . . . a . . . conspiracy theory.”

(Normally I would copy part of the essay and instruct readers to go to the original to read the whole thing, but in this case I'm copying the whole thing here in case the traitors at HuffPo remove it like they did Ventura.)

In a sad commentary on the currently disintegrating state of "main stream media", I found myself ambushed on Saturday, March 6th, just ten minutes after I arrived at a conference outside Philadelphia on "9-11, the Wars and Our Broken Constitution".

When young, smiling female producer Katie Hinman identified herself as being with ABC and asked for an interview, I had only just arrived at the conference. So although I was a little surprised that the Nightline TV crew was there, I immediately consented to an interview before anyone had a chance to warn me that the TV show was trying to concoct a connection between the conference and the mentally ill young man who had been killed a few days before while shooting at Pentagon guards.

Ministry of Propaganda - Fox News - on full attack mode

As expected, Fox leads the pack with the most openly transparent propaganda.

John Bolton espouses the notion that the Iranian President's views on both the holocaust and 9/11 are proof that he is not to be trusted with nuclear weapons, and justification of UN sanctions.

MSNBC: Jesse Ventura claims govt. involved in 9/11

And don't forget, Jesse Ventura is on Larry King tonight, presumably to promote his book, so 9/11 truth being mentioned is inevitable.

Former Minnesota governor says Bush administration tied to attacks

TODAY books
updated 3:36 p.m. ET, Mon., March. 8, 2010

In his new book, "American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies, and More Dirty Lies That the Government Tells Us," former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura begins an investigative journey to prove that there is more to our national history than the government wants us to know. In this excerpt, he writes about an alleged 9/11 cover-up.

Chapter 12: What really happened on September 11?

The incident: On September 11, 2001, four airplanes were hijacked on American soil and crashed into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania.

The official word: The 19 hijackers were all fanatic Muslim terrorists linked to al-Qaeda and its ringleader, Osama bin Laden.

Mysterious Deaths of 9/11 Witnesses

I knew of Barry Jennings and Dan Wallace, but I didn't realize there were so many other 9/11 eyewitnesses or family members who challenged the official story only to meet an early death.

Coincidence? Conspiracy?

The 'Jersey Girls' Support Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth

"The Jersey Girls" support AE911Truth efforts!
— Editor

We're proud to have the endorsement of The Jersey Girls, who single handedly forced the Bush Administration to convene the 9/11 Commission after one year of inaction following the attacks of September 11

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth is proud to be working for and on behalf of the 9/11 victims' family members, in particular The Jersey Girls. We recommend "9/11 Press for Truth", which is the story of the Jersey Girls and their struggle for the truth.

We are pleased that Patty and Lorie have signed our petition. We have also received signatures from Josef Princiotta, Manny Badillo, Bob McIlvaine, Ellen Mariani. Let us know if there are any of them we are not listing here!

We have taken a lot of criticism from so called debunkers & unconscious government officials that our work is "upsetting the family members". Let it be clear that only the truth about the deaths of these innocent people will bring healing to their loved ones. AE911Truth has ever increasing support from them to reveal the truth to the American people.

I don't think this has been posted at 911blogger yet but I could be wrong; there's been so much content at blogger lately! Anyway, this is another excellent interview if you haven't seen it yet.

Van Jones Explains 9/11 Petition In One Of His First Post-White House Interviews (VIDEO)

Van Jones, President Obama's former "Green Jobs Czar," spoke to Tavis Smiley in one of his first public interviews since his resignation last year.

Jones told Smiley he never signed the "truther" petition that was the catalyst downfall. The activist and author told Smiley about his "tough lesson":

Van Jones:... I believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy by Al-Qaida and Osama Bin Laden, and nobody else, trying to hurt America. What happened to me on that tough lesson learned for me, six years ago, I was at a conference, some people came up to me. They said, 'Hey, we represent 9-11 families.' I'm like, 'OK, good to meet you.' They said, 'We need your help. Will you help us?' I said, 'Sure, whatever you want.'

Hit piece from Southern Methodist University (home of the George W. Bush Presidential Library)

I'm reminded of how the halls of academia were poisoned with pseudoscientific propaganda in Nazi Germany. This guy also defends the official JFK story. Fortunately this guy leaves us his e-mail address. Let's blitz him folks!

Wacky theories show poor judgment

One week from today, Texas voters will select the Democratic and Republican party nominees for governor, concluding a seemingly endless primary campaign. The contest has been noteworthy in several respects, especially for the bitter battle for the Republican nomination between the sitting governor, Rick Perry, and an incumbent U.S. senator, Kay Bailey Hutchison. In the last two weeks, however, it appears that Hutchison and her other opponent, Debra Medina, have either come down with a bad case of campaign fatigue or have proven themselves to be the proverbial “six fries short of a happy meal.”

Favorable coverage from Washington Times' "Inside the Beltway"

It's not often that this mainstream an outlet does anything other than a hit piece, but here is one of those rare occasions. Washington Times welcomes comments so let's spread some truth.

Incidentally, this blog entry and comments should be used as a compendium for press coverage. If you do a Google News search on "9/11 truth" you'll find that this global push for truth which occurred on 2/19 is getting picked up on by quite a few outlets, some favorably, some not. I would have thought that the right wing Washington Times would be the last place on earth for a favorable piece. Maybe times are achangin'...

The Media Response to the Growing Influence of the 9/11 Truth Movement. Part II: A Survey of Attitude Change in 2009-2010

by Elizabeth Woodworth

Abstract

In the past year, in response to emerging independent science on the 9/11 attacks, nine corporate, seven public, and two independent media outlets aired analytic programs investigating the official account.

Increasingly, the issue is treated as a scientific controversy worthy of debate, rather than as a "conspiracy theory" ignoring science and common sense.

This essay presents these media analyses in the form of 18 case studies.

Eight countries – Britain, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Russia – have allowed their publicly-owned broadcasting stations to air the full spectrum of evidence challenging the truth of the official account of 9/11.

Debra Medina, Texas Republican Gubernatorial Candidate, Questions 9/11 and then Backs Off Under Pressure

We have all seen it before. We have seen it with the two "Vans" - Van Romero and Van Jones. After openly questioning the official story, they then "recant."

This story is currently on the front page of Google News with many outlets covering it.

In a nutshell: Debra Medina has apparently questioned 9/11 before, and Glenn Beck knew about it. He confronted Medina about it on his radio show.

Dawn Vignola’s Account vs Erik Larson’s Methods by CIT

Craig Ranke has written an extensive rebuttal to the piece Erik Larson wrote a couple weeks ago. Craig's rebuttal is entitled Dawn Vignola's Account vs. Erik Larson's Methods by CIT. I'll let readers go to the link to read the whole thing. Here are my own thoughts and highlights:

Larson's essay began with the following:

"From their apartment, Dawn Vignola and her roommate Hugh ‘Tim’ Timmerman saw American Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, September 11, 2001. Shortly afterward, they gave witness accounts to local and national TV media. In 2007, they were interviewed by Citizen Investigation Team (CIT), who attempted to discredit their testimony."

Craig correctly points out that Larson stated this particular aspect of the OCT as proven fact (AA77 hitting the Pentagon [whether piloted by Hanjour or remote control]), with "zero skepticism or objectivity applied whatsoever (it would be impossible for any witness to definitively tell that the plane was "Flight 77" or specifically tail# N644AA)."
