David Ray Griffin is emeritus professor of philosophy of religion at Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University. He has published 34 books, including seven about 9/11, the most recent of which is The New Pearl Harbor Revisited: 9/11, the Cover-Up, and the Exposé. His lecture will summarize the evidence in this book for its most important conclusion: Muslims did not attack America on 9/11.

I write letters to Mr. MacKay on a regular basis, asking for investigations, reasons for policies, and to provide him with reasons why the public is skeptical of 9/11. This is the text of a letter response from Minister of National Defence, Peter G. Mackay, dated May 16, 2008. I have bolded text in the letter for easier reading.

My analysis is such: Peter MacKay endorses the Manley Report's findings. The Manley Report takes the official conspiracy theory as fact (see the timeline, Appendix 6). But MacKay cannot comment on the integrity of the 9/11 Commission. If MacKay cannot comment on or confirm the integrity of the 9/11 Commission, where does the Canadian Government (and the Manley Report) get its "well established" information about 9/11?

Dear Mr. Stephen Staples,

Before contributing additional funds to ceasefire.ca, I would like to know your opinion concerning 9/11, and why you never include this issue in your campaigns.
In my opinion, it is blatantly obvious that the Bush Administration is fabricating a false story of 9/11, and using that lie to con the public into believing there is a threat that doesn’t exist. When one rationally weighs the evidence presented on the internet on the subject, the answer is compelling. The hijackers could never have gotten to their targets given the air defense systems in place, either from the fighter jets or the anti-aircraft missile batteries at the Pentagon. The WTC towers could never have exploded the way they did from fire and aircraft damage. It’s literally impossible.

For a fifty dollar contribution, would you agree to a phone conversation with me on this subject? I would like to present you the case of why a rational person would be critical of the official story as told to Canadians by the U.S. government.

There was a time not long ago when holding a debate about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks was taboo, even among university students.

But nearly seven years after two planes felled the World Trade Center towers in New York, the University of Waterloo debating society is opening the door on the issue in a discussion next Wednesday.

While there now seems to be no shortage of scholars trying to debunk the U.S. government's conclusions about Sept. 11, debate organizers struggled to find someone willing to defend the official version of events contained in U.S. 9/11 Commission Report.

Students had hoped representatives from Popular Mechanics magazine would defend the government position, since the magazine issued a report challenging some Sept. 11 conspiracy theories. But the group couldn't afford the honorarium, said Adnan Zuberi, public relations manager of the debating society and a third-year math and physics student.

Canadian academics A.K.Dewdney and Graeme MacQueen will be lecturing on the subject of 9/11 at the University of Waterloo. This is a free event organized by the University of Waterloo Debating Society and by Adnan Zuberi and Adam Parrott. Lectures will be followed by refreshments.

A.K.Dewdney is a Canadian mathematician, computer scientist, and philosopher who has written a number of books on the future and implications of modern computing. Dewdney holds the position of Professor Emeritus of the University of Western Ontario. Dewdney authored Scientific American's recreational mathematics column from 1984 to 1993. He has developed hypotheses which sharply disagree with the official version of the events surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! interviews Phillip Shenan for approximately 30 minutes during its tuesday broadcast. Although I have not read his book, "The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9/11 Investigation", I have to applaud his mention of several important conflicts of interest to do with Phillip Zelikow, (well known to the 9/11 Truth Movement at large as revealed by David Ray Griffin in his criticisms of the commission), especially his extensive relationship with Condoleeza Rice-- National Security Council staff colleagues, coauthoring of a book, and comembers of the National Security Council transition team.

Chief Editor: Time to think conspiracy?

What if it wasn’t Osama bin Laden, but George W. Bush who was responsible for the attacks on World Trade Center on 11 September 2001? Is the question so appaling that we’re not even allowed to pose it?

Early in their careers, journalists often develop a profound sceptical view of letters that they receive that have been sent in copy to the Prime Minister, Foreign Secretary and all the MPs in the country, including the King himself. Grumblers always have access to a copying machine.

But despite this, this week I have spent a few hours on such a letter, signed by two civil engineers. They attempt to make the media and the Norwegian government discuss and look more closely into the 9/11 conspiracy theories, and also the origins of the so-called War on Terror.

"A new poll by Zogby International has found that 51% of Americans want congress to probe the actions of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney before, during, and after the 9/11 attacks. The poll also found 67% of respondents feel the 9/11 Commission should have investigated the collapse of the 47-storey world trade center building 7. The poll was sponsored by the website 911 truth.org. "

Canada has not investigated whether there is actually evidence linking Osama Bin Laden or the Taliban to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Canada accepted the accusation against Bin Laden by the United States at face value. There has been no independent investigation on Canada’s part to confirm or reject this allegation.

Gwynne Dyer is a prominent Canadian political author who recently wrote a hit piece about 9/11 called "The Conspiracy Virus", in which he claimed that government complicity was impossible because 10,000 people would have been in on it and someone would have spilled the beans.

I caught up with him yesterday when he was visiting Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario.

In this interview, he admits the physical evidence doesn't add up, but refuses to acknowledge the significance of the strange nature of the collapses. When confronted with the paradox of fire melting steel beams, he claims that "chemicals" could have been in the buildings that burn at a higher temperature than the melting point of steel. What chemicals Gwynne?
