The story of William Rodriguez is one that will surely change the way you look at the world.

A Puerto Rican, William was the master janitor in the North Tower of the World Trade Centre on 9/11, having worked there for 20 years previously. Having arrived slightly late for work that day, he was in the basement of the tower at the fateful time of 8.46 am. Suddenly, there was a massive explosion, that was so powerful, that it lifted him and his co workers, up, off their feet. The sprinkler system came on, parts of the ceiling fell loose, and everybody was screaming. A man came into the room, Felipe David, who had had parts of his face and his arms burnt off, screaming “Explosion, explosion!” Then, shortly after this initial incident, there was another “Boom!”, but this came from on top. No one knew what this was, but this was flight 11 hitting the building. 2 separate incidents.

Congratulations To Willie & Elizabeth Rodriguez On Their New Bouncing Baby Boy!!!

Just wanted to say congratulations to Willie and Elizabeth on their new 8lb. 5oz. boy named William Daniel (after Daniel Sunjata) Rodriguez.

Dear Ms. Hasselbeck... The 9/11 Conspiracy Visits The View

Written by Damian Penny

Published May 23, 2007

Thursday, May 24 will be a big day for the creators of Loose Change, the wildly successful Internet “documentary” which says the Pentagon was struck by a missile instead of a plane, the World Trade Center was brought down by a controlled demolition, and that the passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 were taken to Cleveland and then spirited away, presumably to Mars.

Korey Rowe and Dylan Avery, along with Willie Rodriguez, a 9/11 survivor who insists he saw evidence of controlled demolition, will appear on a major network daytime TV show, ABC’s The View. Rosie O’Donnell will thankfully be leaving the show in a few weeks, but as a going away present, ABC is giving her the chance to promote 9/11 conspiracy nonsense to a nationwide audience.

Hero Of 9/11 Inspires Crowd At Franklin Pierce

William Rodriguez spoke to a crowd of around 150 Friday night at Franklin Pierce College. From his bio posted on http://www.911keymaster.com/:

William Rodriguez, is a native of Puerto Rico, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the State of New Jersey. On September 11, 2001, and for approximately nineteen years prior thereto, Rodriguez was employed as a maintenance worker at the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York, New York.

On 9/11, Rodriguez single-handedly rescued fifteen (15) persons from the WTC, and as Rodriguez was the only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells, he bravely led firefighters up the stairwell, unlocking doors as they ascended, thereby aiding in the successful evacuation of unknown hundreds of those who survived. Rodriguez, at great risk to his own life, re-entered the Towers three times after the first, North Tower impact at about 8:46 A.M., and is believed to be the last person to exit the North Tower alive, surviving the building's collapse by diving beneath a fire truck. After receiving medical attention at the WTC site for his injuries, Rodriguez spent the rest of 9/11 aiding as a volunteer in the rescue efforts, and at dawn the following morning, was back at Ground Zero continuing his heroic efforts.

Rodriguez lost his employment of 19 years and his means of earning a living as a direct result of the attacks on the WTC on 9/11. Deeply affected, as one might imagine, by his experiences of 9/11, Rodriguez has, in a variety of capacities and through several different organizations, worked ever since that terrible day to help others who were affected by the atrocities committed. He has continued in these labors, notwithstanding the fact that, due to the loss of his employment, he has been unable to earn a living, and was even homeless for a time.

William Rodriguez's talk was absolutely stirring! He told, in pretty graphic detail what he experienced and saw on that day. Luckily for him, he had called in a half hour late that day or he would have been up on the 106th floor having breakfast with his friends from the building. He pulled injured and trapped people from the B2 basement level where there was an explosion 6 or 7 seconds before the plane hit above. In addition, he had one of only 5 master keys to all the stairwell doors and let the firemen in at each level up to about the 43rd floor. He was helping carry a handicapped man out from the 27th floor and was about to go back in when the building started to go. Police across the street yelled for him to RUN, so he ran and dove under a fire truck where he became buried under debris for 4-1/2 hours before he was rescued.

World Trade Center custodian tells heroic 9/11 rescue tale

The last man alive out of the World Trade Center’s North Tower Sept. 11 2001, janitor William Rodriguez, told his story of survival and heroism Saturday at a lecture sponsored by the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth.

Rodriguez held one of five master keys to the WTC—a tool he calls “the key of hope” that enabled him to save 15 people trapped inside the two towers.

The custodian’s story started at 8:30 a.m. when he arrived to work on the basement level of the North Tower. He was late and ached from cleaning the 110 flights of stairs the day before. He had missed the free breakfast he ate every morning on the top-floor restaurant, Windows on the World.

At 8:46 a.m. he heard an explosion. “Boom!” Rodriguez imitated. He heard a man screaming “Explosion! Explosion!” from underneath. “I wanted to say a generator blew up. I thought it was a bomb.”

9/11 Hero To Speak At UW

A World Trade Center maintenance worker who helped more than a dozen victims escape from the building's north tower before it collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001, is speaking on the UW campus Saturday.

William Rodriguez, of New Jersey, is believed to have been the last man to get out of the World Trade Center alive. He is scheduled to talk at 7 p.m. in Room 3650 of the Humanities Building.

Rodriguez, who worked at the World Trade Center for 20 years, used his master key for the north tower to open stairwell doors for fire department rescue crews. He exited the tower just as it was beginning to collapse and dived under a fire truck.

Now, without a job and claiming to have been abandoned by his government, Rodriguez is on a lecture circuit telling audiences about his experience.

Rodriguez will be introduced by local 9/11 conspiracy theorist Kevin Barrett, who believes the U.S. government was responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks and is author of "Truth Jihad: My Epic Struggle Against the 9/11 Big Lie."

ELEANOR COWIE
February 16 2007

THE annals of American history had already reserved a place for William Rodriguez, but he was not content with a mere footnote.

The 43-year-old former New York janitor claims to have been the last man out of the north tower of the World Trade Centre before it imploded on September 11, 2001. Just moments before the tower's final destruction, Rodriguez assisted firemen and rescue crew in saving hundreds of lives. But for the Puerto Rican, the experience also marked the beginning of a life-changing journey - or, in his words, "a quest for the truth".

Rodriguez has become the poster boy for a movement currently sweeping the globe, which claims the official story of what happened on 9/11 - that four US airlines were hijacked by Osama bin Laden's terrorists to attack Western civilisation - is a pack of lies. These activists, who call themselves the 9/11 Truth Campaign, believe the real version of events has been hidden and are convinced that the worst terrorist attack on US soil was perpetrated to justify aggressive US foreign policy in the Middle East.

Partly because he was an eye-witness to the day's events, Rodriguez's testimony plays a key role in giving credence to the allegations of the 9/11 Truth campaign. In the past five years, he has, in effect, turned evangelist for this conspiracy movement, assuming celebrity status among supporters as he travels around the globe lecturing to millions on what he saw and heard on that fateful day.

With the 9/11 Truth Campaign, he insists that both towers were subject to a controlled explosion; and that, moments before the north tower was hit by a plane, he and colleagues heard an explosion underneath their office. This initial explosion was then followed by other bombs. This same version of events is peddled by Loose Change, a 90-minute internet movie made by three American men, which has been watched by an estimated 100 million viewers around the globe. The film, a blitz of statistics, photographs, eyewitness accounts and testimonies, argues that the fire in the towers was not hot enough to melt their steel frames and that they fell too quickly.

Regardless of whether you believe him, Rodriguez's voyage is an extraordinary one. Since 9/11, he has gone from being an establishment figure, taken into the bosom of the Republican party and even groomed for political office, to one who is now considered a maverick in these same quarters. Yet he remains committed to what he calls "a just and truthful cause".
