As you know Dr Keith Seffen (Cambridge, UK) published a paper that described the collapse of the Twin Towers as a very ordinary event. This paper was trumpeted across the internet, primarily by that quite reprehensible state-sponsored propaganda organisation known as the BBC.

A highly qualified British truth seeker (Accountant and Mathematician) wrote to the University of Cambridge in order to register his concerns and complain about the apparent lack of Science in this paper.

Science in the Bush: When Politics Displaces Physics

09/08/07 "ICH" -- -- The majority of us accept as fact that the current administration manipulates science for political ends. Few were surprised to hear experts from industry challenge overwhelming evidence of man-made climate change. Frustration within the scientific community had grown so much that by Dec. 2006 more than 10,000 scientists, including 52 Nobel laureates and 63 recipients of the National Medal of Science, had signed a statement accusing the Bush administration of "distortion of scientific knowledge for partisan political ends".

Scientific integrity within the administration has often not been rewarded. Recently fired US surgeon general Richard Carmona said after leaving, "In public health, as in a democracy, there is nothing worse than ignoring science, or marginalizing the voice of science for reasons driven by changing political winds."

Is the US military poisoning its own troops, and the whole planet, with depleted uranium? Are the neocons risking World War III by violating treaties and weaponizing space?

Leading Depleted Uranium (DU) experts Doug Rokke, Ph.D. and Leuren Meuret, and anti-space-weapons activists Bob Fitrakis and Alfred Webre, will present their alarming findings and offer a clarion call to action.

Doug Rokke, Ph.D. is a former director of the US Army Depleted Uranium Project who supervised the US Army’s DU cleanup charade after Gulf War I. Leuren Moret is an international radiation specialist, with a B.S. degree in geology from University of California at Davis, a M.A. degree in Near Eastern studies from University of California at Berkeley, and a former insider at Lawrence Livermore Labs. Both Rokke and Moret argue that DU has decimated Iraq and the US troops who have fought there, and may be decimating the planet as well.

Through an Executive Order that gives political appointees final say regarding science-based federal agency regulations and the appointment of an anti-educationist to head the Office of Management and Budget, US President George W. Bush is attempting to insulate his administration from congressional accountability while effectively turning federal scientists into White House puppets, a group of scientists warned today.

Union if Concerned Scientists and OMB Watch urged Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chair Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) to question the President's nominee US Rep. Jim Nussle (R-Iowa) on his opinion of Bush administration Executive Order 13422, which goes into effect today.

The executive order bans any regulation from moving forward without the approval of an agency's regulatory policy officer, who would be a political appointee.

9/11: Looking for Truth in Credentials: The Peculiar WTC “Experts”

When Matthew Rothschild, editor of the online magazine The Progressive, wrote an article called “Enough of the 9/11 Conspiracies, Already”, we all knew he was not talking about the conspiracy theory that the US government sells us to justify the expanding 9/11 Wars.[1] To the contrary, in writing that article Mr. Rothschild was selling that same theory himself. What he actually meant was that people should not question the US government’s story of terror because credentialed experts have been found to support it. But the fact is that the experts found to support the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 are predominantly those who profit from doing so. That’s not to say that all of these people were “part of the conspiracy”. But they are, whether consciously or not, a part of the cover-up. And that, of course, is the greater crime.

Mythbusters Tackle 911

Armed with a brand new batch of clever inventions and one eye-popping scale model, the intrepid team of Mythbusters decided to test a 911conspiracy theory, that the WTC towers collapsed by controlled demolition.

"We wanted to prove the conspiracy wackos wrong," said the intrepid duo, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage. "And of course score some big bucks by blowing things up."

aspersions on my research regarding the use of thermates at the World Trade
Center on 9/11/2001 -- which is fine as long as he provides serious technical
objections, which he has not done. At the same time, JF is promoting on the web
site notions that energy-beams from WTC 7 or from space knocked the Towers down.
I have invited Jim repeatedly to view the video of my talk given 11/11/06 at the
University of California at Berkeley which provides the latest physical
evidences for thermate use, reinforcing the data in my published paper. He

The mainstream official story holds that 9/11 was an attack by outsiders (in the form of fanatical Islamists) on the U.S. and by association also on all free democratic nations.

The MIHOP ("make it happen on purpose") alternative view holds that 9/11 was an attack by insiders on the same.

Let's call the official story the OMIHOP version ("O" standing for Osama). In the OMIHOP scenario we have fanatics lead by Osama who “hate our freedoms” bent on an irrational campaign of punitive justice based on a distorted interpretation of Koranic Law.
