Rudy Giuliani

My comment about Giuliani, the WTC, and WeAreChange under James Kirchick's article "Paul's Pause"

Yesterday, at a very late hour for me, James Kirchick published online in The New Republic his article "Paul's Pause". As it looked at the time like no reader had yet to post even one word in the comments section, I decided to take the opportunity to speak my 9/11 truther mind and point out why it is more important for The New Republic (and Kirchick) to be focused on a few unanswered questions about Rudy Giuliani and 9/11 than on Ron Paul and his newsletters.

Three weeks after 9/11, when the roar of fighter jets still haunted the city's skyline, the emir of gas-rich Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah al-Thani, toured Ground Zero. Although a member of the emir's own royal family had harbored the man who would later be identified as the mastermind of the attack—a man named Khalid Sheikh Muhammad, often referred to in intelligence circles by his initials, KSM—al-Thani rushed to New York in its aftermath, offering to make a $3 million donation, principally to the families of its victims. Rudy Giuliani, apparently unaware of what the FBI and CIA had long known about Qatari links to Al Qaeda, appeared on CNN with al-Thani that night and vouched for the emir when Larry King asked the mayor: "You are a friend of his, are you not?"

TPMtv: I'm Rudy Giuliani and I Approve This Message

You've probably heard the news that Rudy Giuliani is finally hitting the airwaves with his first TV ad. Well, we've got it. And we're actually premiering it here at TPM. Even we were a bit surprised, though, at just how 9/11-focused it is. But you take a look and make your own call ...

Loveland, CO - A spur of the moment decision by campaign staff and a local State Representative brought presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to a small Colorado town one hour north of Denver on Saturday where local 9/11 truth activists would take full advantage of the opportunity to confront the former mayor about his potential foreknowledge of the September 11th attacks.

According to the Reporter Herald Giuliani's staff put a required fundraising minimum on the event of $60,000 in order to bring "America's Mayor" to the small town. Speaking about the short notice and the minimum dollar amount state Rep. Don Marostica, a staunch supporter of Giuliani's presidential bid said “They called me last Friday (and) said you have 11 minutes to make a decision, or else we’re going to take him to Lincoln, Neb.,” Marostica’s assurance that he could raise at least the established amount, paved the way for a visit to this small venue that was kept open to the public.

LOVELAND, Colo. -- About a half dozen protestors were asked to leave a local coffeehouse Saturday where Giuliani was visiting, after they shouted questions about conspiracies surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

No formal arrests were made, according to Loveland Police Sgt. Greg Eisentraut, but about a half dozen protesters were removed from the event, after trying to ask Giuliani whether he had advanced knowledge of the terrorist attacks. One protestor, who was detained by police, described himself as the publisher and Editor-In-Chief of New York Megaphone and was led away by officers on both arms, yelling, “I have an excellent attorney.”

“What you did was illegal,” he screamed at police officials. “What you did was a violation of the f------ Bill of Rights.”

On our way to an investigation!

Dear activists, colleagues and friends,

We are beyond thrilled to announce that as a result of your efforts on The REAL Rudy: Radios, Councilman Eric Gioia has committed to "do everything in my power to get answers, to get the truth. There needs to be accountability."

Never say never! We worked, we investigated, we fought, and now we're well on our way to an investigation. Councilman Gioia was so taken with the video and all of our signatures (20,000!) that he sat down and explained to us what is going to happen next:

With the councilman's support, we can hold Giuliani accountable for his failure to equip firefighters with radios that could have saved lives on 9/11, and get answers to these questions:

Giuliani Faces Investigation Of 9/11 Radios

"To know that we had failing radios in 1993 and did virtually nothing until September 11 is shocking to say the least," said Gioia [New York City Councilman Eric Gioia]. "To watch this documentary and see the important questions that were asked and seemingly unanswered and ignored for so many years, it's disturbing."

In the midst of his presidential candidacy, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani now faces a looming government investigation into his handling of the radios used by firefighters on 9/11.

The investigation, which will examine how the FDNY ended up using faulty equipment during the terrorist attacks and why Giuliani gave a no-bid contract to Motorola for that equipment, has been endorsed by New York City Councilman Eric Gioia, chair of the city's oversight and investigations committee.

Giuliani Bungled Preparation in Years After 1993 Attack on Trade Center.

Critical failures by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani before, during and after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, raise serious questions about his ability to be commander-in-chief.

Rudy's Four Horsemen

"Maybe you love Rudy or maybe you hate him. But whatever you may think of him, check out his foreign policy team, because that's the key to knowing what to expect from a Rudy presidency. Especially for candidates with little or no foreign policy experience of their own, the folks advising the candidate are key. And Rudy's team is made up, more or less, of all the guys who were too nuts or too extreme to make the cut with George W. Bush. If you really, really want to go to war with Iran as soon as possible, vote Rudy. We run down the highlights and key bios in today's episode of TPMtv"

If you live by the sword, you die by the sword. That's the message 9/11 truth campaigners have been sending presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani in recent weeks as they continue to turn out in droves to expose his exploitation of the terror attacks for his own political gain.

Giuliani has been confronted by 9/11 truth protesters at almost every public appearance he has made since he began officially campaigning for a White House run.

Giuliani has continued to callously use 9/11 and its victims as a campaign tool, throwing fundraisers at which participants are being urged to donate "$9.11 for Rudy". He even used 9/11 as justification for answering a call from his wife during a speech in front of the National Rifle Association last week.

Five solid minutes of emaciation however the butcher of 9/11 escapes with only minor psychological injuries. To those of you who intend on confronting Giuliani, develop some original questions and try to shake his hand so he cannot escape your grasp.

Verisimilitude

Verisimilitude: 1 : having the appearance of truth : PROBABLE
2 : depicting realism (as in art or literature)

NY Times Covers Giuliani Confrontation at Ground Zero Ceremony

"... As Mr. Giuliani walked away from the site, the young man yelled, “How could you walk away like that?” and “Scum! Scum!” He said later he was not a victims’ relative. He was also holding a video camera.

The woman with that man, Sabrina Rivera, said she was there mourning her ex-boyfriend’s father, Lt. Robert F. Wallace of the Fire Department.

Giuliani and Mukasey go way back, says NY Times

The potential appointment of Michael Mukasey as attorney general could have implications for whatever slim chance exists for a proper trial of the 9/11 perps. The other reason to follow Mukasey's appointment here is because it continues to illuminate the potential connections among the coup faction and sympathizers.

They were together early in their professional lives, as federal prosecutors working on corruption cases and later when they were engaged in private practice at the same firm, where they shared a fondness for practical jokes.

Then the careers of the two lawyers took off, and after one of them, Rudolph W. Giuliani, was elected the 107th mayor of New York, he went to the apartment of the other, Michael B. Mukasey, by then a federal judge, for a private swearing-in ceremony on New Year’s Eve.
