One of the most astonishing video clips you are likely to see. In an interview with Sir David Frost on Al Jazeera 2 months ago, Benazir Bhutto casually let it slip in passing that Osama Bin Laden is dead, murdered by ISI agent Omar Saeed Sheikh. Sheikh is, as many know, the agent who wired $100,000 to Muhammed Atta just prior to 9/11, as well as being the man who murdered Daniel Pearl.

The interview was filmed shortly after the 1st attempt on her life after her return to Pakistan, and she mentions that there are people out to kill her, in particular one person, "a very key figure in security" who has links with a number of suspect people, including "Omar Sheikh, the man who murdered Osama Bin Laden"

That question has a chilling answer. Anyone who handed over their fiver may inadvertently have been funding a organisation responsible for dozens of killings, bombings and political assassinations, thousands of miles away in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

The sale of fake CDs, DVDs, clothing and perfumes in Glasgow and other British cities is helping to raise money for one of the world's most-notorious terror outfits – the group held responsible for the slaughter of US journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.

MI5 is now targeting British-based supporters of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), a pro-Kashmiri group dedicated to gaining the disputed territory its independence. Its aims include the "destruction" of the United States and India.

LUCKNOW: When the STF exchanged notes with the central intelligence agencies about Jalaluddin alias Babu, the self-styled area commander of Harkatul-Jihad Al-Islam (HuJI) in New Delhi, it was revealed that one Umar Sheikh’s name has also figured in the interrogation of some key 9/11 accused arrested by American security agencies in the recent past. US agencies are learnt to have informed their Indian counterparts that Mohd Atta — who planned and the executed the 9/11 bombings — was funded by one Umar Sheikh who gave him $ 1 lakh sometime before the WTC attacks.

Intelligence agencies believe that Umar Sheikh, who got a part of the Khadim case ransom money, is the same person who funded Atta.

A native of Bhilpara village in South 24 Parganas in West Bengal, Babu was around 10 and in class 3 at a local primary school when he gave up studies and was sent to Bangladesh by his parents along with some other teenagers of the village for better prospects.

Many people don't understand or choose not to believe that evidence exists of multiple wire transfers in excess of $100,000 to alleged "lead hijacker" Mohammed Atta prior to 9/11, and that these wire transfers are linked to the then head of Pakistani intelligence (ISI). This has blatantly been covered up by the Bush regime, by the Congressrional Joint Inquiry, and by the 9/11 Commission, which this article will clearly show.

This is a complex area, and is clearly the subject of a vigorous disinformation campaign. Many aliases have appeared in US newspapers which don't correlate to the names given in previous reports regarding: just who IS this "Al Qaeda paymaster?" [1]

I don't think that Sheikh is a Red Herring or disinfo. I think he is a protected asset, probably MI6.

This essay was transmitted verbally for the record at Rep. Cynthia McKinney's July 22nd, 2005 Congressional Briefing: "The 9/11 Commission Report One Year Later: A Citizens’ Response – Did They Get It Right?" by John Newman. Newman has a background in Military Intelligence and is the author of "JFK and Vietnam" and "Oswald and the CIA". As time goes on, Newman has been proven correct with speculation in his first two books, notably by Joan Mellen's further analysis of Oswald's role as a government agent in "Farewell to Justice". Newman was first to parse the JFK document data dump and come out with nuggets that have stood the test of time.

The likelihood of India's intel shop having access to communications signals that Echelon or one of Echelon's ears or eyes didn't have, is preposterous. Especially when it comes to a "made man" like Sheikh, because the Eye of Sauron would definitely be upon him. The hapless FBI agents who went to verify the wire transfer story were probably pretty disappointed when they reported back from India to their superiors and were met with, "Yeah, we know. Now shut up."

This story likely exists as a bona fide limited hangout so that the finger can be pinned on Pakistan, should Musharraf not play along as required. In my opinion, Musharraf is trying to spoil that play by exposing Sheikh's alleged MI6 connections. It's likely that he knows exactly what Sheikh's true role was, a fixer.

Newman bends over backwards like Peter Lance with the "Triple Agent" meme. After wading through decades of JFK disinfo, he's got to know that Sheikh is as much of an Oswald as Atta.

I think that Daniel Pearl got too close to the source. He started asking the wrong questions -- questions about where the money actually came from and that was it for him. Bernard Henri Levy's "Who Killed Daniel Pearl?" is an interesting read in that regard.

Anyhow, Newman's story below;

Pakistani president Musharraf allegedly said today that Omar Sheikh was an MI6 (British intelligence services) agent. The article covering Musharraf's statement says "At some point, he probably became a rogue or double agent."

This is interesting, because Mr. Sheikh is claimed to be one of the masterminds, trainers and/or funders of 9/11.

Did Mr. Sheikh in fact become a rogue or double agent? Or was he still working for MI6 when he played his role in the 9/11 attacks?
