NYC CAN: "Building What?"

Fellow Advocates:

Today, March 15, 2010, we begin channeling the energy and strength of our movement into one voice to help the New York City Council become aware of the mysterious collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.

Believe it or not, many New York City officials are only vaguely aware that a third building collapsed on September 11th, if they are aware at all. Our only purpose for contacting them is to politely ask that they take measures to investigate the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.

Therefore, there are two simple rules for participating in this campaign:

1) Talk only about World Trade Center Building 7

2) Be courteous and respectful

Richmond, New Hampshire Passes Resolution For New 9/11 Investigation

On March 9, 2010 voters in the town of Richmond, New Hampshire became the second town in the United States to pass a resolution calling upon Congress to open a new investigation into the events of September 11, 2001. The first resolution of this kind was passed by the voters of Lincoln, Vermont in 2007.

The Vote For Answers resolution instructing New Hampshire’s congressional delegation “to pursue a new and independent investigation to address thoroughly all of the evidence and unanswered questions related to the event of September 11, 2001” passed 48 to 45 in Richmond (52% in favor).

Newspaper: 9/11 conspiracy makes it onto town warrant

Victims' Family Member reports on 'Vote For Answers NH'

Vote For Answers NH has been covered for the third time in another major New Hampshire newspaper, now in the capital of Concord. Read the article here.

The group is $1,100.00 shy of meeting their campaign budget - all of which is going toward advertising / publicity expenses. Please donate what you can, $5, $10, $25 or more to help ensure the resolution for a comprehensive, fact-driven investigation passes in all 12 towns. As you can read from the latest article, with one of the Barnstead town's councilman calling the resolution "nonsense", we have to meet their insults by disseminating real information to the voters in any way we can. These actions represent exactly the kind of fight that moves our cause forward.

Go to http://voteforanswersnh.com/donate.php to donate right now, and please comment on the article at the Concord Monitor's Web site: 9/11 conspiracy makes it onto town warrant.

Thank you all for every effort.

Sincerely,
Manny Badillo

The government doesn't want a 9/11 public trial

RT again covers again what the corporate, consolidated, controlled mainstream media in this country refuse to.

“The trials need to be held. They need to be held here [NYC]. They need to be held in a civilian court where the evidence can come out – evidence that’s still being collected … in this mass murder, which begs for a new investigation ... evidence that just might be in the lungs of the sick and dying by the tens of thousands first responders. Let’s get that evidence out there to find out what really happened.”

At least 10 towns in New Hampshire to vote on a new investigation into 9/11!

Fellow Advocates for Answers and Accountability:

Last week it became official! At least ten towns in New Hampshire will have the following question on the ballot at this spring’s town meetings:

Shall New Hampshire’s Congressional Delegation be instructed to pursue a new and independent investigation to address thoroughly all of the evidence and unanswered questions related to the events of September 11, 2001?

Voters in Hanover and Stoddard, which have later deadlines, will file their petitions in the next few weeks to bring the total to 12 towns. Most towns will have their town meetings on March 9, while Hanover, Stoddard and Peterborough will have them on May 11. The dozens of determined individuals in New Hampshire who have worked very hard since early December - from collecting signatures in the bitter cold to holding weekly organizing meetings - deserve a huge round of applause, and it is now up to us give them all the help they need to ensure their campaign is a success.

NYC CAN: The Turning Point

I did not write this. - Jon

October 16, 2009

In the fall of 2008, the NYC 9/11 Ballot Initiative realized that both strategy and tone were moving its effort no closer to broadening its support. Facing a wary, apathetic public and a stalled momentum, leadership was replaced, strategy was revamped and its mission rebranded.

Launched in early 2009 as NYC CAN, the new organization proceeded to effectively engage voters in a rational dialogue concerning the unanswered questions surrounding 9/11 and the best interests of our country. Our vehicle for engagement was a public referendum to create a real, independent, evidence-driven investigation into those questions that remain, eight years later, unaddressed.

That revamped strategy – focused and methodical, free of divisive rhetoric, ill-advised conjecture and alienating political judgments – succeeded in garnering the support of 80,000 NYC voters, over one-hundred 9/11 family members, dozens of first responders and survivors and leading 9/11 family advocates including ‘Jersey Girls’ Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg and Patty Casazza as well as Bill Doyle, Monica Gabrielle and others.

Decision On Petition's Legality Expected By End Of Week

9/29/09

Supreme Court Justice Edward Lehner has begun consideration of NYC CAN’s motion to reject Referee’s Louis Crespo’s recommendation that the NYC CAN 9/11 petition not be submitted to the voters on November 3. The petition would ask whether or not there should be an independent New York City investigation into 9/11.

Responding to a motion brought by NYC CAN attorney Dennis McMahon, a hearing was held Tuesday September 29 at the New York State Supreme Court, and concluded with the understanding that the Court will likely render a decision on the petition’s legality by Friday, October 2.

I endorse the NYC CAN campaign and support the need for a new, independent, investigation of the events and failures that lead up to the 9/11 attacks.

The original 9/11 Commission inquiry became an exercise in bureaucratic ass-covering and obfuscation of accountability.

I had no intention of joining the ranks of “whistle blowers”. In 2003, when I made my disclosure to the 9/11 commission regarding the existence of a pre 9/11 offensive counter-terrorism operation that had discovered several of the 9/11 terrorists a full year before the 9/11 attacks my intention was to simply tell the truth, and fulfill my oath of office.

Unfortunately, this was a minority view.

Instead of supporting the search for the truth, members of the Bush/Rumsfeld Department of Defense did everything within their power to destroy my 20 year career as a clandestine intelligence operative simply to try to discredit me and my disclosure.

"Rescue Me" Star Daniel Sunjata Joins 9/11 Protest March

A lead actor from the popular FX television show “Rescue Me” joined a large group of 9/11 activists and survivors on Sunday in a march from New York City’s Battery Park to city hall.

During an afternoon rally in the park, Daniel Sunjata, who plays the role of Franco Rivera in the firefighter drama featuring actor Dennis Leary, took the stage with an impassioned call for a new investigation.

The march was held to support the NYC CAN coalition, which is currently engaged in a court battle with city hall over the legality of their ballot measure calling for a new 9/11 investigation.

The group has gathered over 80,000 signatures from New Yorkers in support of its ballot initiative, and even won a recent legal skirmish over a challenge to the validity if its petition’s signatures. The city’s challenge to the initiative’s legality continues, however, with a court referee recently advising the judge to find for the city.

We had a good turn out for a rainy Sunday afternoon. I'm sorry that I didn't get Bob McIlvaine's speech, and the others, but I'm sure someone else did. Thanks to everyone that came out today, and thanks to Damon Bean for helping me to film the event.

For Those About To Rock, We Salute You

If you are going to the march tomorrow, and if you live in the area, I hope that you are, bring an umbrella. They are calling for "Heavy Rain." As I just posted on Facebook, the march for NYC CAN is not just a march in support of the initiative. It is a statement that says you support the cause of 9/11 Truth. It is a statement that says you know we were lied to, that the families, the responders, the people of this country, and the world deserve absolute truth, absolute accountability, and absolute justice for the 9/11 attacks. Please, if you can make it, do so.

The march is at 2PM at Battery Park in NYC.
