The Approaching War with Iran: Part III

"The whitewash that was the 9/11 Commission ran by Philip Zelikow has already provided the Bush Whitehouse with enough legal cover to launch an attack against Iran. Zelikow saw to it that the important questions, the questions that the Jersey widows and the rest of America wanted answered by the Commission, the questions that would have unraveled the lies told about 9/11 and most likely placed this nation in a state of armed revolt against the federal government – Zelikow made sure these questions never saw the light of day in favor of creating a legal mechanism for Bush / Cheney to pull the trigger in the greater Middle East – not just Iraq.

Have doubts? In the July 26, 2006 edition of Newsweek ran an article titled 9/11: The Iran Factor - The final report of the 9-11 Commission reveals troubling new evidence that Tehran was closer to Al Qaeda than Iraq was.

On page 61 of the 9/11 Commission Report: Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States, the Zelikow Commission wrote:

In late 1991 or 1992, discussions in Sudan between al Qaeda and Iranian operatives led to an informal agreement to cooperate in providing support – even if only training – for actions carried out primarily against Israel and the United States.

On page 128 the Commission wrote:

Though intelligence gave no clear indication of what might be afoot, some intelligence reports mentioned chemical weapons, pointing toward work at a camp in southern Afghanistan called Derunta. On November 4, 1998, the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York unsealed its indictment of Bin Laden, charging him with conspiracy to attack U.S. defense installations. The indictment also charged that al Qaeda had allied itself with Sudan, Iran, and Hezbollah.

Remember, S.J. Res. 23 authorized the President to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons. The Congress loaded the gun and granted the license and the 9/11 Commission provided the bullets to Bush / Cheney to now hunt in Iran without further congressional oversight. Despite what Clinton or any other member of Congress has to say about it, until S.J. Res. 23 is revoked, the license to invade Iran remains legally in Bush / Cheney possession."

February 14, 2007 -- Noam Chomsky has signed a petition written by the 9/11 “Jersey” widows calling for the release of classified documents relating to the 9/11 attacks. The Muckraker Report has contacted him by e-mail and verified that the individual listed on the petition is indeed Noam Chomsky. Chomsky’s name is #6432:

Like I said in my article from a few days ago, 9/11 Widows Keep on Asking the Tough Questions, the Jersey widows say that once they have 15,000 signatures on their petition, they’re going to head back to Capitol Hill. Right now they have 6,600 signatures, 1023 of them in the last 60 hours. Please e-mail the link of the petition to all your friends. Ask them to sign and forward the petition to their e-mail contacts. The Jersey widows have to get 8,400 more signatures. They need your help. Come on - give them a hand!

9/11 Widows Keep on Asking the Tough Questions

February 12, 2007 -- When it comes to 9/11, America right now is divided between two camps, those who trust the official account of the attacks, and those who, well, have questions. It’s occasionally the case that the first camp will publicly denounce the second camp as a bunch of nutcases, and when this happens, it’s usually the rowdier section of Camp Two, the Loose Change, bullhorn-wielding, “death to the New World Order” crowd, that takes the most heat.

What tends to get ignored, however, is the quieter section of Camp Two, and especially a group of widowed mothers from New Jersey and New York who over the last six years have worked harder than just about anyone to protect the country from terrorism. Few people realize that had it not been for the tireless efforts of the “Jersey girls” – Mindy Kleinberg, Kristen Breitweiser, Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, and Monica Gabrielle – not only would the 9/11 Commission never have happened, but there most likely never would have been any investigation into what was the worst loss of life on American soil since the Civil War. No inquiry into our failed military defenses, or the collapse of the towers, or just why it was that President Bush sat in that Florida classroom for a full seven minutes after the second plane struck. No scientific reports, no effort to discover what went wrong, no hearings of any kind. No attempt to figure out the details of the whole who, what, where, when and why of the attacks. And again, what few people realize is that today, six years later, the Jersey girls are still fighting the exact same fight they were fighting on September 12, 2001, and for the same reason: to keep you, and me, and everyone we know, safe from terrorism...

NIST WTC-7 Technical Approach and Status Summary

January 31, 2007 – It has been 1,967 days since World Trade Center Building Seven (WTC-7[1]) collapsed at 5:20PM on September 11, 2001. After 5 years, 4 months, and 19 days the government has yet to explain how or why this building within the World Trade Center Complex that was situated furthest from the twin towers, nearly two blocks away, the building that suffered significantly less debris damage from the collapsed towers when compared to WTC-5[2] and WTC-6[3], neither of which collapsed although engulfed in fires and catastrophically damaged by falling debris, the 47 story building that collapsed into its basement (footprint) at freefall speed (6.6 seconds)…it is this building, WTC-7, a building that many Americans remain unaware of the fact that it too collapsed on 9/11, it is this very pivotal building in the entire scheme of 9/11 accounts that the government has yet to offer a viable explanation, after all these years, as to how or why it collapsed. NIST claims that it will release its report on WTC-7 in Spring 2007.
