Although he's never held or run for political office before, Matthew Woodson claims he "is the only 5th district candidate with a plan to win the war on terror," according to the candidate's Oct. 27 press release.

Given the current state of affairs in Iraq's part of the world, a person with "a plan to win the war on terror" would more than likely be in huge demand.

Perhaps not.

In a pre-election poll released Oct. 11 by SurveyUSA, current Lt. Governor Mary Fallin would win Oklahoma's 5th Congressional District seat easily, besting democrat David Hunter by 29 percent.

Woodson, who received votes from only three percent of those surveyed, would have lost to Fallin by 59 percentage points.  one of this seems to deter the 36-year-old Woodson, who in his "private" life works as a freelance grip in the TV and film industry.

In fact, he was recently working for Mary Fallin (now his opponent) when he decided to run for Congress.  During an interview with The Vista, Woodson provided answers regarding his platform, why he's running for office and just how it is America should go about winning the war on terror.

At the root of Woodson's political platform, what seems to have driven him to run for office with almost zero campaign funds or experience, is his belief that the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks are being used to steer the Bush administration's policies.

Dear President Bush,

I am the only Congressional Candidate with a plan to win the “war on terror”, but first we must revisit the day it began.

Any objective observer willing to look at the evidence will quickly realize that the crimes of September 11th were in part the work of domestic criminals. One simply must look at the obvious controlled demolition of the 3rd tower to make that conclusion. This past February I first saw the 47-story World Trade Center 7 (WTC7) collapse in 6.5 seconds at 5:20pm on 9/11. Many Americans believe that only 2 towers collapsed, this ignorance is due to a combination of Government and media failures to inform the public. It is possible that you are unaware of this building due to faulty intelligence, therefore I feel it my civic duty to provide you and the citizens of the 5th district the opportunity to know some facts that didn’t make it into the 9/11 commission report.

9/11/01 an inside job?

It’s highly possible; so what can you do about it? First, research the facts yourself; secondly, vote November 7 as if our country depends on you.

This past February I first witnessed the collapse of the 3rd World Trade Center building. The 47-story World Trade Center 7 (WTC7) collapsed about 5:20pm on 9/11 at near free fall speed in what appears to be controlled demolition (explosives). After months of research I now have no doubt that domestic criminals were involved with 9/11.

Before February, I had never heard of WTC7; that’s because, unlike the twin towers, the media practically censored any coverage of it. If you haven’t heard of WTC7 you’re not alone; I asked former Attorney General John Ashcroft about WTC7, he said “knew very little about it”; Congressman Frank Lucas is also “unaware” of it.

This is the 1st time that thousands of Oklahoman residents have had the opportunity to watch the collapse of World Trade Center 7 on broadcast television since 9/11/01.
