Loose Change

Next year, we better have some flying cars.

Happy New Year to everybody from myself and from Louder Than Words. It's been a long, crazy ride since everything began on April 13th, 2005, but I'm glad to say that we've all made it this far and we're all still alive.

Here's to 2008. To the end of an era. To Barry Jennings. To everyone that continues to fight for the justice of both family members and first responders.

And here's to 2009. To a new administration and hopefully a new direction for our country, if half the promises being made are fulfilled. Regardless of the outcome, I'm glad we're all in this together.

2009 will be a busy year for me on multiple fronts. Besides the numerous side projects I have going on to keep myself both afloat and occupied, I have a test screening on January 30th up in Marin, California for a remastered version of LCFC. The fine folks at SMT Studios finally wrapped up their surround remix and scoring, and I have to say the finished product is incredible to say the least. I'll have a flyer for that show up shortly.

Trio turn 9-11 issues into a blockbuster for local theater

By Peter Duveen

PETER'S NEW YORK, Sunday, November 30, 2008--Frustrated with the lack of accountability for what happened on September 11, 2001, three concerned upstate New Yorkers recently joined forces to see if they could mobilize the public to critically examine the government's version of the events of that day. One of the three managed to convince the proprietor of a local theater that a showing of the controversial documentary Loose Change Final Cut, a film critical of the government's version of 9-11, would draw a sizable crowd. The others teamed up in a supportive role to publicize the event. The result was a screening of the film last Tuesday at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, New York, with a personal appearance by the film's producer, Korey Rowe. Attendance far exceeded that of any other film shown in the theater's history.

"That was a record," said the theater's executive director, Bill Woodward, of the 143 paid attendees who passed through the theater's doors. The previous high grosser was a film that brought out about 100 people, Woodward told Peter's New York.

9-11-08 Interview with Dylan Avery (Loose Change)

By:
Wendy S. Painting, M.A.

Every year activists gather at Ground Zero in New York City on September 11th to pay respects to the dead and to show the world that the victims of the attacks and the citizens of this country deserve a real accounting concerning the events of 9/11/01, something that is yet to be had. This year hundreds gathered from all over the country and the world to show solidarity and support for this growing movement.

Letter: Truth is still out there on 9/11

for some reason, both website addresses are invalid; there's a space in 911 truth and it's .com, not org- and it's loosechange.com not loosechange911.com. Other than that this is a good letter, imho, and it's always nice to see MSM acknowledging 9/11 questions.

Letter: Truth is still out there on 9/11

Saturday, July 19, 2008

Retired Master Sgt. Robert L. Geremia’s July 13 letter was right on the money. Since Sept. 11, 2001, our country has been under attack, and not from foreign terrorists.

The entire world knows the truth about that day, except the uninformed American people. I strongly urge all citizens to view these Web sites: (www.911 truth.com and www.Loosechange.com) and get informed.

All Americans should be calling their members of Congress to demand a fair and honest investigation of that tragic day. The 9/11 Commission was a disgrace to the people of this great country.

A conspiracy of dunces

Do you agree with Stephen Pile's view of the week's TV?

David Ray Griffin and “Cell Phone Calls”: Serious Logical Errors in "9/11 Contradictions."

In Chapter 17 of David Ray Griffin’s latest book, 9/11 Contradictions , the author asks, “Were Hijackers Reported on Cell Phone Calls?” Griffin’s approach to the question can be summarized by a sentence in the last paragraph of the chapter:

“The central questions, however, involve the reported cell phone calls, which played a central role in establishing that the planes were hijacked by al-Qaeda operatives.” (p. 182)

Coming soon ...

Where to begin?

First and foremost, the BBC's new special on WTC7 is currently picture locked and set for a tentative release date of June 15th, from my understanding. I had a lengthy conversation today with the producer of the special, and I must say, this will, at the very least, be much more balanced and open-minded than Guy Smith's earlier piece on the movement itself.

Also, from what I gathered, the NIST report on WTC7 is due for release in July. But that might change as well.

I need to compress and upload the footage from Dr. Griffin's event here at SDSU a few weeks ago, I've just been incredibly swamped out here with so many different priorities and objectives.

LCFC V1.1 is almost done mixing and ready for release. The fine folks at SMT Studios have been slaving away in their spare time trying to get it done as ASAP.

Also, Jason and Korey have been hard at work on Fabled Enemies. Obviously I'm only involved from an omniscient standpoint, but from what I've seen earlier this morning, it's shaping up to be a decent production.

Catch you guys soon.

Only three steel skyscrapers have ever collapsed - ostensibly as a result of fire - and all three came down in one day at the World Trade Center. In fact, one of them wasn't even hit by a plane. How could this be? How do we explain the near-perfect symmetry of their falls? Why did neither Dick Cheney nor Donald Rumsfeld order the Pentagon to be evacuated when it was known that a hijacked plane was racing toward it? If there is evidence that Osama bin Laden was behind the terrorist attacks, why did the Bush administration not provide it to the Taliban when they offered to turn him over? Why was bin Laden never even indicted, let alone killed or captured?

Loose Change screening, UK

This is my first post on this site but I am long, long time lurker. In February of last year I organised one of the UK talks for William Rodriguez and last saturday (30th March) I had a successful screening of 'Loose Change Final Cut'. Both events were in a place called Henley, west of London.

This film was shown in a very conservative area. When William came the local paper refused to touch it. For the screening of LCFC, not only did they promote the film they also reviewed it and I was astounded by the last sentence:

"You have to develop a pretty thick skin to counter the US Government’s official line on 9/11.

From alleged smear campaigns and discrediting to more sinister warnings and threats, the self-professed leader of the free world doesn’t seem to take too kindly to those who disagree.

So you have to admire the team behind Loose Change: Final Cut, a controversial documentary exploring September 11th which caused an internet phenomenon, becoming the most downloaded film of all time.

Despite a hastily rearranged production schedule and numerous hurdles, we managed to clear every single one. Extras still came out despite the weather, the soldiers made it down to Jersey just in time to shoot their scenes, and small problems like missing Firewire cords were solved immediately.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this shoot.

Shot with a Panasonic HVX-200 in 1080i recorded directly to a FS-100. Endless thanks go to Matt who provided me with the equipment.
