Shooting the Messenger

For six years, Sibel Edmonds has been carrying out an heroic crusade to protect her adopted country from national security threats within the top levels of the American government. Hired as an FBI translator in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, Edmonds, a Turkish American, threw herself into the daunting task of translating thousands of hours of recordings of backlogged intercepts in Turkic, Farsi, and Azerbaijani.

What she heard on the tapes was alarming: Turkish agents in the United States bribing high-level U.S. officials and obtaining our military and intelligence secrets. What she witnessed at the FBI was even more appalling: translators who were intentionally filing false translations and passing information to foreign powers; and, what’s even worse, FBI superiors who did nothing about it when these serious breaches were brought to their attention.

This is the outline for a speech i recently delivered in my Communications class- 13 people including the teacher, no one had ever heard of her, 3 seemed uninterested/annoyed, the rest were interested, some deeply, some seemed a bit shaken up, at least 3 (including the teacher) took note of her website "justacitizen.org" when i mentioned that at the end. I'll be adapting this as a longer article with sources linked, but this outline format worked well for the speech- i practiced it about 5 times and basically just delivered the outline- 7"30'

Thursday night Rep. Henry Waxman walked into a crowded room of concerned constituents and citizens - after what had reportedly already been a trying day. For months we have been trying to get Henry Waxman to hold hearings into the case of former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds but we have been met with a stony silence.

Until now!

The Hollywood Liberal snagged an interview with Henry Waxman and asked about Sibel's case.

Apparently, my good Congressman has been listening to his constituents! I phoned last week to ask for his support of impeachment and for a new and thorough investigation of the events of 9/11--clearly stating my belief that the evidence suggests an inside job. When asked, his assistant confirmed that others called with the same concerns (about 9/11). I will be wearing my "9/11 was an Inside Job" T-Shirt, with a few friends. Spread the word to everyone you know in Los Angeles!

Washington Post:

"(Sibel) Edmonds's story has been almost uniformly ignored in the U.S. daily press."

That's certainly true. Why?

WaPo:

One possible explanation is that the heart of Edmonds's story remains unconfirmed.

That's not true. Senator Charles Grassley said:

"Absolutely, she's credible. And the reason I feel she's very credible is because people within the FBI have corroborated a lot of her story."

Grassley made that statement in 2002. The WaPo article is from 2004. And we've learnt a lot since then.

We previously discussed the importance of persuading Henry Waxman to investigate 9/11.

The need for such persuasion is reinforced by today's statement by Waxman that there are so many areas of wrongdoing by the Bush administration, "The most difficult thing will be to pick and choose" which areas to pursue.

What could be more important than revealing the largest false flag operation in history, so as to prevent future, even bigger false flag terrorism?
