Nationwide AE911Truth Ads on Coast to Coast with George Noory

This is the big leagues. AE911Truth is running a series of 30 second spots on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory in the build up to Richard Gage's appearance as a guest on the show July 31st.

[Starting this Thursday, July 15th at 2:17 a.m. Eastern]

Remember this will be a truly national spot airing on 500+ stations! A first for 9/11 truth. [There was a spot on Coast to Coast earlier this year, but it only ran in the Los Angeles market]. This is not just a local affiliate of a nationally syndicated show-- this is a nationwide ad that will be heard by nearly a half million people.

So put on a pot of joe and listen this Thursday at 2:17 a.m. Eastern. // Wed. 11:17 pm. Pacific

Thursday is the original spot by Ed Asner, while following versions will be modified to serve as promos for Gage's appearance on the 31st.

Big thanks to Peter B. Collins, Bay Area radio personality, for helping to broker this deal with KGO. (He is the guy who read the *myths* portion during the recent Firefighters/AE911Truth speaking events in California). To quote Peter B:

Slate ad critic Seth Stevenson tries out a Google service that allows you to run your own commercial on national TV for as little as $100.

ED ASNER COMES ABOARD AE911TRUTH
— Jim Cirile

Ed Asner. Former head of the Screen Actors Guild. Emmy Award winner. Mary Richards' gruff yet lovable boss. World Poker Tour champ. And most recently, star of Best Picture Academy Award nominee "Up." He is also an active supporter of 9/11 Truth and the voice of AE911Truth's radio campaign.

This all begin on 9/11/2008. Asner introduced AE911Truth's Richard Gage, AIA to a packed house in Los Angeles. After the show, Asner volunteered to help in any way he could. Gage mentioned this to the marketing team, and I immediately thought: we'd be nuts not to use Asner's inimitable voice -- and the gravitas that accompanies it -- in a series of radio and video spots.

Ed Asner, A Passionate Crusader For Victims Of 9/11, Makes A Statement With The Film "Zack's Machine"

Source: pr.com

By Allison Kugel, Senior Editor - August 19, 2007

I recently had the opportunity to screen a short film called Zack’s Machine which has been making the rounds on this year’s film festival circuit. This 9 minute short, written and directed by a gifted up and coming filmmaker named Kenneth Sheetz, takes a poignant look at the events of September 11, 2001 from the perspective of a tiny puppy who finds herself alone and trapped in her New York City apartment when her new master, Zack, goes missing on 9/11. Although short in length, this film packs a powerful punch and works its way into your heart. The entire film plays out from the puppy’s point of view. We watch her master Zack go through his typical morning routine, which includes putting out food and water for puppy Sophia and playing with her for a bit, before heading out the door to his job in lower Manhattan at the World Trade Center. Moments later sirens begin to blare and chaos ensues in the city and these disturbing sounds are heard through the apartment alerting the tiny dog to possible imminent danger.

Ed Asner and Michelle Phillips Endorse Action on the Eleventh

At a recent David Ray Griffin speaking engagement in Los Angeles, Activist and Actor Ed Asner and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas and The Papas both endorsed the campaign for Action on the Eleventh Day of Every Month until Justice. At the same event, Johnny Wave of Marines For 9/11 Truth called for the court martial of the Commander-in-Chief.

Breakfast With Ed Asner

Thanks to Steve for sending this in:

He served in the Army from 1951-53. Now, as a veteran actor at 77, Ed Asner is not pulling his punches. He is known for his liberal political views (particularly his stance on the war in Iraq), as well as playing the tough but lovable Lou Grant on two television series in the 1970s and '80s. He stars in the Hallmark Channel's original holiday movie "The Christmas Card" on Saturday. It is the story of a soldier who receives a Christmas card from a stranger and how it changes his life.

Q: You're a war veteran. Would a card from a stranger have made a difference to you?

A: Well, everything is relative. I found it very easy [in the movie] to accept the fact that this rootless, alone soldier got this card, and it reminded him of all the beautiful things he left behind. I certainly would accept a card if I were a solider marooned in an action area. Having lost friends, feeling lonely and alone, yes, I certainly would accept a card.
