The U.S. military has confirmed the authenticity of newly-released video showing U.S. forces indiscriminately firing on Iraqi civilians. On Monday, the website WikiLeaks.org posted footage taken from a U.S. military helicopter in July 2007 as it killed twelve people and wounded two children. The dead included two employees of the Reuters news agency, photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen and driver Saeed Chmagh. Goodman: Paid by CIA to cover-up 9/11 Truth?

Christopher Condon, an ally of Pacifica’s interim director Grace Aaron, last month introduced a resolution at a meeting of the Pacifica National Board’s Governance Committee targeting Democracy Now! over allegations that is is being secretly funded by the CIA.

The action, which would require every Pacifica programmer to disclose all sources of funding above $5000 and related contracts, passed the Committee and is before the Pacifica National Board, meeting in Houston this weekend, for approval.

Today, the third day of our campaign, we will have a second day of fax-bombing the media with 9/11 Truth. The two media outlets in the crosshairs today are FOX News and Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman. And though FOX News is unlikely to cover material it deems critical of the Bush administration, that is all the more reason to bombard them with faxes telling them to uphold their duty to the American people. Of course Democracy Now! has not performed much better. They have discussed 9/11 Truth in the past, but so has FOX News, so that isn’t saying much. Moreover, both have been slow to address this new scientific paper, as have the media we targeted yesterday. Why? They have received the document. So have the politicians. They have had ample time to review it. How about some coverage? How about some comments from the politicians on the evidence contained in the document? Why won’t these media outlets ask these questions? Let’s send them a holy flood of faxes of telling them that we want answers to these questions, and we want them now.
