Philip Zelikow Had 9/11 Report Rewritten To Be More Favorable Of Condi

This is a new entry at historycommons.org. Condoleezza Rice didn't deserve "more favorable" treatment. She belongs in prison.

May-June 2004: Zelikow Has Portions of 9/11 Commission Report Rewritten to Be More Favorable to National Security Adviser Rice

Flight 93, Rice on 9/11 - Additions to the 9/11 Timeline as of July 27, 2008

About half of the new entries in the History Commons' 9/11 Timeline this week deal with the actual day of 9/11. One set focus on Flight 93, on which passenger Todd Burnett reportedly said a hijacker had a gun, although the 9/11 Commission disagreed. Burnett's wife informed the FBI of her husband's calls before the plane crashed. United Airlines informed its staff of the crash at 10:17, American Airlines at 10:27, and the public at 11:17.

Reward offered for citizen's arrest of Rice
8:25PM Thursday July 24, 2008

A $5000 reward is being offered to any Auckland University student who can make a successful citizen's arrest of United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during her visit to the country this weekend.

Auckland University Student Association (AUSA) president David Do said the arrest would be for her role in "overseeing the illegal invasion and continued occupation" of Iraq.

"It is hard enough living as a student in Auckland these days without having a war criminal coming to town, so we thought we'd give our students a chance to make a dent in their student loans and work for global justice at the same time."

Dr Rice will be in Auckland on July 26, where she will meet with Prime Minister Helen Clark, Foreign Minister Winston Peters and Opposition leader John Key.

She will make her first trip to New Zealand after attending a meeting of the Asean Regional Forum this week in Singapore.

They knew, but did nothing (excerpt from Shenon book published in Austrailia)

At what point does "criminal negligence" become so extreme that it can be considered "complicity" beyond a reasonable doubt? Shenon attempts to put the "incompetence", "ignorance", "failure to imagine", "system failure" and "covering up incompetence" spin on what he reports while essentially supporting the theory that Al Qaeda outwitted the dimwitted and incompetent US intelligence and defense establishments, but even what he does say seems like grounds for impeachment hearings to me.

"The warnings were going straight to President Bush each morning in his briefings by the CIA director, George Tenet, and in the presidential daily briefings. It would later be revealed by the 9/11 commission into the September 11 attacks that more than 40 presidential briefings presented to Bush from January 2001 through to September 10, 2001, included references to bin Laden.

CONDI MUST GO

Ask Senators Clinton, McCain and Obama to join us in calling on Secretary of State Rice to resign.

America will not stand for a Secretary of State who approved torture and then misled Congress. We call on the Presidential candidates to ask Secretary of State Rice to resign

Why Shouldn't Condoleezza Rice Be Vice-President?

Recently, there have been several reports that Condolezza Rice is considering running as John McCain's running mate.

GOP strategist: Condi Rice 'actively campaigning' to be VP
Norquist: Rice Making Right VP Moves

Condi says she's going "back to Stanford", but since she's a proven liar 1000x over, I don't trust what she has to say.

I can think of SEVERAL reasons why this woman should not be Vice President.

Here's just one.

9/11: Where Barack Obama and Condi Rice Sound Alarmingly Alike

http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_kristen__080404_9_2f11_3a_where_barack_o.htm

Barack Obama appeared on MSNBC's Hardball last night and was asked about the way he would handle the 3 a.m. phone call.

The transcript:

MATTHEWS: Let me give you a scene that may face you in the next year or two, where the national security adviser calls you at 3:00 in the morning and tells that you a couple of jet -- commercial jets have been hijacked. And they believe it is al Qaeda. And, as we know, al Qaeda always tries a second time. They tried for the World Trade Center after '93. They came back in '01.
They're heading for the Capitol. What do you do?

OBAMA: Well, look, I am hesitant to engage in hypotheticals like that, because...

MATTHEWS: But it has been predictable.

OBAMA: Oh, well, the--I don't think anybody predicted 9/11. And, so, we don't know what kinds of circumstances are going to come up.

Yup. That's right, Barack Obama glibly stated that he didn't "think anybody predicted 9/11."

Pilot gets $5 million for Sept. 11 tip
Flight instructor urged bosses to contact FBI about Moussaoui

NBC News and news services

The Bush administration paid a $5 million reward to a former Minnesota flight instructor who provided authorities with information that led to the arrest and conviction of 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui.

The recipient, Clarence Prevost, was honored Thursday at a closed-door ceremony at the State Department, although the payout was secretly authorized last fall by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the Justice Department, U.S. officials told The Associated Press.

The reward from the State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program is the first and only one to date to a U.S. citizen related to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the officials said.

CIA admits it destroyed tapes of interrogations

Staff members of the Sept. 11 commission, which completed its work in 2004, expressed surprise when they were told that interrogation videotapes existed until 2005.

"The commission did formally request material of this kind from all relevant agencies, and the commission was assured that we had received all the material responsive to our request," said Philip D. Zelikow, who served as executive director of the Sept. 11 commission and later as a senior counselor to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Were these assurances given under oath?

9/11 Commissioner Richard Ben-Veniste Questions Condoleezza Rice About The August 6th, PDB

Someone on my site watched this recently, so I thought I would as well. I noticed a friend is in it, so I figured what the hell, I'll upload it to Google Video. This is probably the "shining moment" of the 9/11 Commission. The one thing they, or at least Richard Ben-Veniste, did right. I am no fan of Richard Ben-Veniste. According to 9/11 Family Member Bob McIlvaine, Ben-Veniste told him that the 9/11 Commission was "not an investigation but merely an exposition." Knowing that, and not making the public aware of it, or not attempting to report it to the media, and not resigning his position in protest, is criminal as far as I'm concerned. 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland spoke up. If Richard Ben-Veniste wanted any credibility, he would have done the same. - Jon

After January 20, 2001: George Tenet Accompanies Daily Morning CIA Briefer to Oval Office

Tenet Allegedly Warned Rice Of "Imminent" [...] "Spectacular Attacks Against The United States"

Source: alaskareport.com

April 30, 2007

Washington, D.C. - Former CIA Director George Tenet says he warned then-National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice in the summer of 2001 that "multiple, spectacular attacks" from the al Qaeda terrorist network were imminent and urged a pre-emptive strike on the terrorist network.

In an interview aired Sunday on CBS' "60 Minutes," Tenet said he told Rice that the United States needed "to consider immediate action inside Afghanistan," where al Qaeda was based before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.

"Essentially, the briefing says there are going to be multiple, spectacular attacks against the United States. We believe these attacks are imminent. Mass casualties are likely," he said.

But he said Rice delegated his request to subordinates. And Tenet said he never brought the issue up with President Bush, whom he briefed nearly every day on the threats facing the United States, "because the United States government doesn't work that way."

911 Truth and the Neo-Angst-Order

This video is the sum of my anger, frustration, and take on the absurdity of the Offficial 911 Conspiracy and the mainstream media's bizarre no-reaction to the demand for Truth and total disregard for hard evidence. I feel as if the world has been turned on its head, so I got on my head and I tried to create an angry and almost absurd video summation of what I thought was important and verifiable information with regards to the lead up to 9/11 and other aspects aside from the demolition of the three towers. The video is supposed to get under your skin. It's in your face and a subversive attack on mainstream media for keeping so many decent Americans hypnotized by the mass marketing of envy, greed, and the worship of wealth and fame at the cost of atrocities both at home and abroad, and at the cost of our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. My intent was to be rude and to shock. I'm not sure how succesful it is because I have recieved mixed reactions, but lots of viewings. It certainly is different.

I'm always looking for something short and concise to pass along to others, in addition to using as teasers and such when showing full-length films on a variety of other subjects to others.

I just found this short video that was apparantly posted to google 2-21-2007. I thought that it packed an enormous amout of disturbing information into less than 20 minutes. It could be a good to to use with those whose attention spans have been severely impaired by the immediate gratification of television sound bites.

Here is some interesting writing by Eric Alterman that asks some key questions regarding 9/11. The piece covers the new pre-9/11 revelations in Bob Woodward's book State of Denial as well as Philip Zelikow's connections to Condi Rice and George W. Bush.
