"Portland, Oregon 9/11 Truth Alliance members Gregory Fegel (first speaker) and Brian McManus (second speaker) address the City Council of Portland, Oregon on December 8th, 2010, following the FBI-orchestrated 'Christmas Tree bomb' incident which occured on November 26th, 2010 at the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square."

TRANSCRIPT:
On November 26th, 2010, 19 year-old Mohamed Osman Mohamud was arrested by the FBI when he tried to detonate a fake bomb in downtown Portland. The fake bomb, the van, and the cell phone used in the incident were supplied to Mohamud by the team of FBI agents who led Mohamud into making the attack.

Portland 9/11 Truth Alliance hosts white-separatist racist. Why?

[NOTE: Public access to the post below ( http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2009/06/391879.shtml ) was
'disappeared' from Portland Indymedia without having any public viewing. Until June 9, 2009, the only
record of it there had been as a "duplicate" listing in Portland IndyMedia's "compost pile" page
(where undesirable posts end up as either inaccessible 'duplicate' or still-accessible 'compost'
listings, both with associated post numbers, which is how I managed to piece together the above link).
All 'duplicate' listings remain unlinked to their respective posts, even when the posts are
not displayed elsewhere on the site and so are impossible to have 'duplicates' of. Such posts are
rendered unreadable, and such was my poor post's fate. But as of today, even that tiny bit of evidence
was ‘disappeared,’ even though the above link to the post still functions (but for how much longer?).

Such 'disappearances' seem to happen regularly at Portland IndyMedia, as well as at other IndyMedias
around the country. So much for truly 'independent' media, especially regarding such vital subjects as the

Portland's Willamette Week covers 9/11 Truth

Last week, Portland 9/11 Truth hosted an evening with Mary Starrett and representatives of Evangelicals Against the War. At the last minute, we were told we couldn't use the leftist bookstore where we usually hold our meetings and presentations, because members of the store's collective felt that Starrett and the evangelical folk (who are very savvy and very outspoken about 9/11 Truth) would be "violating their safe space." A reporter from one of the two local alternative weeklies thought this was an interesting angle (because clearly the truth about the events of 9/11 doesn't rate on its own /snark) and covered the event in both her online column and an editorial in today's print edition.

A video of Starrett's presentation was posted as a blog last week. I encourage people to watch it not just for Starrett, who was the Constitution Party's candidate for governor of Oregon last year, but for the speaker from Evangelicals Against the War, whose comments preceed her talk. I'll be the first to insist that we disagree on many important issues. At this juncture in history, however, I want to make some kind of alliance with anyone who recognizes that the lies about 9/11 are at the root of a genocidal war abroad, and an Orwellian subversion of our civil liberties at home, and these people do.

And feel free to offer a little truth to Portlanders in the comments here: Willy Week.

Mary Starrett, the Constitution Party's 2006 Candidate for Governor of Oregon, says 9/11 was an inside job.

Portland 9/11 Truth hosted an evening with local media figure and politico Mary Starrett on Wednesday, February 28. In addition to Ms. Starrett, we heard a representative of a local Evangelical Christian group called "Believers Against the War" and had a number of members of that group as guests as well. They all pull no punches when it comes to 9/11 Truth.

A reporter for the Willamette Week was present and interviewed Ms. Starrett for her online column and possibly an article in the print version of the paper. (Ha ha, Phoenix -- you all have the "Phoenix New Times" and our local alterna-paper actually employs real journalists.) The Willamette Week column is here.

In addition, the whole presentation was recorded by a member of our group:
