Dr. David Ray Griffin appeared on The Tuesday Morning After show on CKUT 90.3 FM on April 20, 2010, at 7:20 am (EST).
CKUT FM is the student radio station of McGill University in Montreal. Nearly 27,000 students go to McGill University.
Dr. Griffin will be presenting his new lecture in Montreal at UQAM on May 3rd (gen. admission $10, students $5 — visit Admission.com for tickets).

NORAD Angle
Contrary to what Professor Griffin says, the NORAD angle of 9/11 Truth is the strongest evidence that the official narrative of 9/11 is false. Why? Because it’s one of the few areas where The 9/11 Commission Report was forced to admit that NORAD did monitor within America, directly contradicting NORAD and Popular Mechanics magazine. The reason the Obama administration continues the Bush foreign policy is because we are still fighting the Soviets. Until this fact is made clear, you can forget the United States government coming clean on 9/11. It won't happen because the fate of the Republic is at stake. If the 9/11 Truth Movement is to make headway, it must also tell the truth as to WHY elements in the American government sacrificed 3,000 persons.

for you and me "Building Demolition is an Open and Shut Case". For me it was after several years of study to be 100% convinced. With the NORAD angle of 9/11 Truth, it takes approximately one minute to read the pertinent NORAD passages in The 9/11 Commission Report, and one minute to read Popular Mechanics (PM) magazine's and NORAD's lies about NORAD's true monitoring capabilities over the United States.
Time isn't the only factor that works against the building demolition angle of 9/11 Truth. Many people just won't get it. They'll prefer to believe the official narrative. Of course, the official narrative on NORAD's true monitoring capabilities over the United States also happens to be the 9/11 Truth angle, which means for the novice to 9/11 Truth an INSTANT realization that they were lied to by PM and NORAD.
When one is fighting a war of words, it is wise to approach novices to 9/11 Truth with the IMMEDIATELY VERIFIABLE truth. Then when they are home (or at the office) and researching the WTC demolitions, they will be in a trusting state of mind, because you already showed them that you can be trusted. This is a powerful psychological tool I advanced several months ago. I call it Positive Psychological Mindset (PPM). Apparently no one was listening.
Now if the 9/11 Truth activist also throws in the equally verifiable Operation Northwoods schemes, I dare say we have an IMMEDIATE convert to 9/11 Truth.
If the novice to 9/11 Truth is given the audio file of FBI Special Agent John Anticev agreeing with his undercover operative Emad Salem (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e88_1192741655 : fast forward to 3.00 minutes) that the 1993 WTC bomb was actually made by the FBI and handed over to the terrorists, allowing the terrorists to detonate the bomb instead of arresting the terrorists in the act of planting the bomb, then that novice may very well become a 9/11 Truth activist!
One must be very careful how novices are first approached. You only get one chance, so why take a chance? Why wouldn't you give the novice information that is not only immediately irrefutable, but also comes from mainstream sources? Only a fool would start off with the WTC demolitions or what hit the Pentagon or what really crashed in Shanksville. Believe me, after you've provided the novice with the material suggested above, the novice will definitely study the WTC demolitions or what really hit the Pentagon. And when the novice does study those more complex issues, he/she will be studying them not to debunk them, but to understand them from the perspective of a 9/11 Truther. Why? Because it's been the experience of the novice that 9/11 Truthers actually do tell the truth...the VERIFIABLE and MAINSTREAM DOCUMENTED truth!
The 9/11 Truth Movement better start using psychology when confronting strangers on the street, because the bastards in government/media are using psychology against us!

Controlled Demolition Convinces
The 9/11 Truth Movement has to awaken and mobilize vast numbers of people as fast as possible. Controlled demolition -- supported by science and understandable by anyone -- is the strongest evidence. Richard Gage, Steven Jones, David Ray Griffin are driving the movement with increasing success because their arguments are easily understood. We must comb through every bit of evidence in minute detail but the outward face of the movement must be crystal clear.

I agree with you when you say "...as fast as possible." The NORAD angle accomplishes that beautifully.
Demolition is NOT easy to understand. It can take years for one to convince oneself after going through all the research (pro and con) and then thinking about it. And even then many will still prefer the official narrative.

yeah, then when they go to see what NIST and the other bastards have to say on the subject they scratch their heads! They're confused again. It's a classic "You say, I say" scenario. However, with NORAD and the other topics I suggested to dave mann above, there are NO equivocations.
As I said to dave mann, why take any chances with novices to 9/11 Truth when you can have CONFIRMED converts with NORAD, Operation Northwoods, and FBI Agent John Anticev admitting on tape that the 1993 WTC bomb was an FBI device?
Let me add here, with a more robust NORAD on the scene on 9/11 then we were previously led to believe, there would have been no aircraft impacts into the WTC in the first place (so no demolitions) and no aircraft strike into the Pentagon! It all hinges on NORAD, which is why NORAD and Popular Mechanics/media lied about NORAD's true monitoring capabilities within the United States.
If novices to 9/11 Truth knew that NORAD's monitoring of United States skies was actually its FIRST mission and covered ALL aircraft, then they would conclude two things:
1. The terrorists would never have chosen the skies to implement the attacks;
2. There is no way NORAD could not have missed four aircraft on radar, even with transponders turned off (Flight 175's transponder remained on throughout its flight). NORAD's mission before 9/11 included intercepting aircraft flying with malfunctioning transponders: "[If the Air Traffic Control Center sector] has no datablock or other information on it, the military will usually scramble an intercept flight. Essentially always they turn out to be private pilots… not talking to anybody, who stray too far outside the boundary, then get picked up on their way back in. But, procedures are procedures, and they will likely find two F-18s on their tail within 10 or so minutes." -- Air Traffic Control Center, ‘ATCC Controller’s Read Binder’, Xavier Software, August 1998.
Another reason the NORAD angle is the best evidence for 9/11 Truth is the fact that Popular Mechanics blatantly lied about NORAD not monitoring domestic aircraft within American airspace. The novice to 9/11 Truth will immediately come to the conclusion that since PM lied about NORAD's monitoring capabilities over America, then PM must also be lying about the WTC collapses. That is killing two birds with one stone! And the beauty of this strategy is that the 9/11 Truth activist hasn't brought up the subject of WTC demolitions to the stranger on the street. The stranger on the street (or family member/office colleague) has come to the conclusion that demolition took place on 9/11 all by himself/herself!
I will also add that thanks to the verifiable lies Popular Mechanics magazine told about NORAD's true monitoring capabilities over the United States, the PM article on the 9/11 Truth Movement should be used as a recruiting tool!
And here are TWO more pieces of damning information from MAINSTREAM sources that confirms that the American government is not only lying about the 1993/2001 WTC attacks, but also the 1998 American embassy bombings in Africa:
1. Osama bin Laden is not wanted by the FBI for the 2001 attacks (http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm); and
2. FBI agent John Anticev was assigned to investigate the 1998 bombings of our embassies in Africa (http://archives.cnn.com/2001/LAW/02/28/embassy.bombing.01/)!
