dc911truth.org first participated in the Takoma Park Maryland 4th of July parade in 2006 with an information table. That effort was so successful that we decided to enter a float in the parade the following year, 2007. This is our second year to have a float in the parade and we have found it to be a great way to reach a large audience with a minimum of effort and expense (and it is a lot of fun!)

We had a fantastic fun time spreading the truth to the cheering crowds lining the streets. The one mile parade route was lined with a crowd estimated at over 20,000. The spectators were mostly supportive and we received applause and "thumbs-up" all along the route. We also distributed over 2000 pieces of literature to the crowd including the Rock Creek Free Press newspaper, 9/11 information cards, flyers and DVDs. We also had an information booth at the midpoint of the parade where people could buy books, DVDs, bumper stickers, buttons and other 9/11 truth paraphernalia.

Participating in the parade is a fun experience and a great way to reach out to the general public with our message.

Great job DC !!! What an effective way to get the message out!!

The 9/11 TRUTH MLK parade which Joe lined up down in Dallas received a VERY welcoming and receptive response, even by the local police officers (some of which knew that 9/11 was an inside job).

Another CI...Civil Informationing action...

Matt and the DC gang,

Thanks so much for sharing this with the 9/11 Truth community.

The more the folks in the 9/11TM are shown that NOT being CONFRONTATIONAL, and just being part of our communities and our country can be FUN and deeply rewarding, the more rapidly we will be able to share our powerful story.

I ask that you post this on: www.911civilinfo.blogspot.com . We stole Boston's event and put it up there. The whole idea is to create a library of many CI events that the various groups execute so that we can learn and then create similar activities if it is so desired.

Its really impossible to write or to talk to somebody else about how GOOD it feels when we receive the MANY positive responses to our presence,and how well our messaging is received. Just gotta give it a try and simply be there.

And, because of you sharing your day, maybe more Truthers will give it the "good old college try" in their own towns and in their own ways...

I remember being in DC with you and many others in 07' when Tarpley was ramping up the opposite "Goon Squad" and "IN YO FACE" tactic. I spoke against him right then and there, and I have been busy ever since attempting to show that the OPPOSITE more friendly way is the better way to go. So, this is very, very sweet to see. Well done.
