"9-11 Activists" and the "28 pages"
Instead of calling evidence of the most obvious and worst case of Treason and mass murder in U.S. History a "distraction", or a "Limited Hangout", or a "Get into Saudi Arabia Free Card", IMO "9-11 activists" would be serving a better purpose by educating themselves on the subject to better understand how anyone who knows the evidence would in actuality, not be swayed by a theoretical "Get Into Saudi Arabia Free Card", because "9-11 activists", once educated on this evidence, can then share this information to a public that knows basically nothing.
I'm talking about being prepared in case the "28 pages" are ever released.
This actually would be essential for any kind of accountability.
The evidence of what Saudi Arabia, and it's agents and Government Officials were doing, was not only known about and approved by certain high level officials in the U.S., but that the actions of the Saudis were known about, approved, and they were even assisted by, specifically, the top levels of the CIA, FBI, and White House.
The "28 pages" will show that the contact in America for the first hijackers to arrive was a Saudi Diplomat who worked in the Consulate of the Saudi Embassy in L.A. It will reveal this person, named Fahad al-Thumairy, most likely escorted known Terrorist Khallad Bin Attash into the U.S. as well. Thumairy, the Saudi Government employee and IMAM at the King Fahad Mosque, supplied the newly arrived hijackers with an apartment near Venice Boulevard in Culver City, and supplied them a driver as well. After a couple of weeks in L.A. Saudi Agent Bayoumi after meeting with Thumairy, met the hijackers at a restaurant and started arranging for their move to San Diego, where he and another Saudi Agent named Osama Basnan would assist them with housing, flight school enrollments, obtaining ID's, and so forth.
Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar is funding Osama Basnan, who FBI Investigators report as a "known Bin Laden supporter". This money is then turned over to Bayoumi for expenses concerning the two hijackers. That's just a start.
But the only reason the Saudi's were able to assist these known AL Qaeda terrorists, was because the CIA did not put their names on any watch-list(until late August 2001, but even then not on domestic watch lists, which is where they were, and they knew it, and that is how these hijackers were able to get on the plane)
For the Saudis to assist the hijackers on their arrival in America, the CIA also had to keep from the FBI, Counter-terrorism Czar Richard Clarke, and every other Agency, the information that known AL Qaeda operatives were arriving in America, which is what they did. Certain CIA officers even ordered FBI members of the Bin Laden unit not to tell the FBI, when they actually tried to, about these terrorists.
This very obvious case of treason only gets worse when, after they watched 3000 people murdered, due to their actions as accomplices, the traitors and their terrorist partners can't wait to add to their mass murder total by trying to portray Iraq as a supporter of AL Qaeda, while at the same time making it against the Law to tell the truth. The truth is classified.
The person in the 28 pages, funding the hijackers through known Bin Laden supporters is with President Bush 2 days after 9/11 smoking cigars on the White House balcony.
His name is Prince Bandar. The 28 pages exposes the hypocrisy of Bush's famous saying..."You are either with us, or you are with the Terrorists".
The 28 pages reveal Bush was with the terrorists. Some are practically members of his family.

For those holding on to their favorite conspiracy theories which would include the theory of "No Hijackers" then the 28 pages are indeed a huge distraction to put it mildly. But here's some news for you. If that's you, then you are the distraction, the distraction would be you and your beloved theories.

If evidence of a cover up involving mass murder and treason is a "Limited Hangout", then I don't know what the purpose/goal of 9/11 activists are?

I'm not suggesting anyone stop showing video clips of building 7 to people, over and over, year after year, as they warn me about my "limited Hangout".

No, it's the opposite, if "9-11 activists" would expose the evidence.
The only way a "Get Into Saudi Arabia Free Card", would work, is if the American public is so stupid and easily manipulated to not realize how they've been duped. This would also require "9-11 activists" to be colossal failures at their activism.

Osama Basnan and his wife are not mentioned in the 9-11 Commission Report.
But the 9/11 Commission report will reveal that Basnan and his wife were also trying to get another hijacker into the country - Ramzi Binalshibh. The report will leave out the phone contact with Binalshibh and protect the identity of Basnan and his wife, both convicted felons, when the report is released with this buried footnote in the back of their report...

I have been remiss on a thorough intense study about the history of the 28 pages. You make a good point which James Corbett recently reinforced...
If the "28 Pages" are released, then being armed with a good understanding would help in waking up more people.

That people are putting out there that the 28 pages are "suddenly" getting attention for some "nefarious" reason, which results in less people fighting for their release, really grinds my gears. Certain "leaders" in the "9/11 Truth Movement."
A) One of the first things Obama did when he came into office was promise 9/11 Family Member Kristen Breitweiser that he would release them, so there is a higher expectation for their release from that (he also promised 9/11 Family Member Bill Doyle).
B) There has been a lot of activity in the courts in recent years concerning the 9/11 Families vs. Saudi Arabia, and there has been a call for their release so the families could use them as evidence.
C) Bob Graham has been consistently doing his thing, even getting others on board in recent years like former 9/11 Commissioners and people from the House and Senate.
D) Fox News did a 40 minute segment on them in recent years.
E) 28pages.org was formed in 2014, which has helped the push for their release along.
F) A story broke concerning a Sarasota Saudi family and Atta, bringing more attention to Saudi Arabia and 9/11.
G) Vanity Fair ran a big piece on the subject in recent years.
H) I have a multitude of videos from international and local news outlets from recent years that talk about Saudi Arabia and 9/11.
60 Minutes' piece may have brought it more recent attention, but it's been building towards a crescendo for years (and just maybe 60 Minutes is using that to get some ratings). America has acted like there are problems between America and the Kingdom, but America has been more than willing to sell them billions in weapons (to make it harder for us to invade like some have suggested?). The U.S. has been more than willing to work with Saudi Arabia in Yemen. The U.S. condoned their actions in Bahrain if memory serves. Obama, like Bush, continues to protect them regarding 9/11 at every opportunity. If the 28 pages are released, there is a good chance that it will not only make elements within Saudi Arabia look bad, but elements within the U.S. as well (as well as the 9/11 Commission, which for some reason, came to different conclusions).

There is always people who say things others disagree with. I haven't seen any "Leaders" making the case that "the 28 pages are "suddenly" getting attention for some "nefarious" reason", ya sure, a few people commented on it, but so what? What's this knee jerk reaction to paint everyone with the same brush? If you disagree with something someone said, then say it, don't run around pretending everyone else is responsible for the words of a few.

This was 60 Minutes brilliant reporting on Alec Station's obstruction of the Cole attack. They ran a talking point. In 2011.
Reporter Lara Logan got in trouble for her 60 Minutes Benghazi report. She was the reporter assigned to the Soufan report. Why didn't she get in trouble for not looking into the reason the Cole investigation was obstructed? What editor looked at the CIA talking point and said that will do?
We were told that the Yemen hub was linked to planning for the '98 embassy and Cole attacks. Then we were told the CIA feared a much larger attack by the same people. Yet instead of sharing this information Tenet and Alec Station thought it made sense to keep it from the FBI investigators.
What sort of journalism program fails to find out what the hell was going on?
