Philadelphia CBS News: Group Of Engineers Believe Controlled Detonations Took Down World Trade Center

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (CBS) - There’s been a growing movement led by some architects and engineers to take a second look at the collapse of the New York City skyscrapers in the attacks on September 11th 2001.
“Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth” focuses primarily on Building 7 of the World Trade Center. Not many people know that a third building fell on 9-11. Tony Szambotti is a mechanical engineer from Blackwood, New Jersey. He says the 47 story skyscraper was not hit by a plane…yet collapsed into its own footprint at 5:20 in the afternoon.
“It’s in absolute freefall. There’s no resistance to it for the first 2.25 seconds and then it slows down a little bit,” Szambotti said. “The actual measurements are somewhere around 6.6 to 7 seconds for that 610 foot building to collapse completely to the ground.”
Szambotti and some 2,000 other of his colleagues contend that it was not scientifically possible for an office fire to be hot enough to melt steel girders and columns. Which brings these highly educated, white-collar professionals to a disturbing conclusion.
“We believe there were pre-planted charges in the building.”
The group doesn’t speculate as to who may have planted charges, but it’s launching a new campaign today to spur a new investigation.
“We would like, whoever had access to those buildings to be investigated and that has never been done.”
“Rethink 911″ features a daylong rally beneath a new billboard in Times Square and 11 other cities to drum up support for the investigation.

I'm sure by now MSNBC is fully aware of the Rethink 9/11 campaign and the 2,000 architects and engineers who have blown the whistle on our government's WTC reports. They are building professionals, not conspiracy theorists, and cite overwhelming evidence for the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers and WTC 7 on Sept. 11, 2001 and demand a real investigation.

And that TIME magazine has covered the Rethink 9/11 campaign. Where is MSNBC? You have at least 6 news opinion anchors who could report on this in whatever manner they so choose.

Good Idea, wrong target?
You're right RL we should leverage this but I don't think MSNBC will give much thought to it. We already know Rachael Maddow's position, she'll probably refer you to the 9/11 comic book or send you a copy of Popular Mechanics book.
I think we may have more success targeting smaller news publications and local stations. I have been published a few times in my local paper here a couple times. However my submissions this year didn't but still may. I got in a bit late this year. But its definitely easier to get published here than big city or national broadcasts. --leverage it everywhere. I just wanted to confront MSNBC since they were the only news outlet to refuse the information that Richard Gage and the military officer, John D. tried to deliver. And of course we know Maddow's position. My letter was too polite in giving them the benefit of the doubt. They deserve to be harshly condemned for trashing AE911Truth and family members via Maddow's rant about conspiracy theories. My hope is that they might address the Rethink911 campaign even if it's to trash it. If they had any decency they would allow an expert or family member to come on the show to face Maddow, but of course they are too chickenshit to do that.

Potentials
Went ahead and emailed MSNBC politely requesting they cover Rethink911, and sent a link to Ben Swann's coverage of it.
It's interesting to contemplate what it might take to get a real investigation going. The resources do exist to accomplish it, beginning with the populace of the United States and other nations.
NYC City Council
members were all personally handed evidence packages last Wed. They had all been previously contacted in the past by the Remember Building 7 campaign. Remember the call and fax effort a couple of years back? Some of the Council members were receptive then. It might be time for an organized follow up with these people. They do have some authority and jurisdiction in the matter. Apparently the Manhattan DA. Cyrus Vance, Jr won't budge at all, but perhaps the Council could compel him or another entity. At least some investigation into Building 7 would be a start.
