'Science of Democracy' with Dr Michio Kaku on Russia Today's 'Worlds Apart with Oksana Boyko'

The technological revolution of the 20th century has brought the world unprecedented prosperity as well as unimaginable horrors. Will science liberate humanity or shackle it like never before? To hash out these issues, Oksana is joined by Dr Michio Kaku, a world-renowned theoretical physicist and author.

BBC Regular

It's almost as if this BBC regular is trying to force RT into a definitive statement re 911, Strange coming from this otherwise normally placid scholar/Gatekeeper.

What a crock

I couldn't finish watching. It's not like I was expecting a lot, but--what a disappointment! I thought he was at least some kind of a critical thinker, based on what I've heard from him before, but instead he might as well be someone like Thomas Friedman--just spewing the establishment line all over. He actually believes this sham of a system is 'democracy'!

Painful Redundancy

There is a painful redundancy to his rhetoric sort of like a fire-brand preacher trying to convert a Christian country.

Agreed

Yes, painful viewing indeed. What I actually see here is the establishment, in which this guy is clearly entrenched, pointing the finger at RT and for all intents and purposes saying - 'stay quiet about 911'. I only wonder if his attitude re 911 comes from himself or if he was given an agenda from his masters. Either way, this is ignorance of the facts at best, and at worst, a messenger of that establishment.

Way Tedious

Jump to the part where he wags the finger ~9:25.

The rest was way too tedious for me.

Hard to believe someone this intelligent can't think critically about the events of 9/11 and conclude that Al-Queda

    could not

do them.

Al-Queda-- 100
Huge US Military-- 0

Yeah, right.

Had no idea Kaku was such a fake "populizer" of science!

This interview needs to be seen. It certainly goes full throttle against any image he had previously created of being an objective scientist with "liberal" notions of "democracy". Will have to add this to the new Truth Troubadour Blog that was sparked by a recent "Exploration" show aired on KPFA a few days ago where Kaku hosted uncritically the amazingly Unskeptical Michael Shermer.

Science Radio Show Host Michio Kaku Gave Michael Shermer An Unskeptical Interview

That's fitting

I had no idea about the KPFA interview, but it's fitting. It was only a while after watching this RT piece with Kaku that I began thinking of similiarities between him and Shermer--a reputation for 'skepticism' contradicted by gullibility on matters of critical importance.
