Yes, they all know. Of course they do, they must do - they are in the business of reporting news - and news anchor positions are not offered to imbeciles, halfwits, or people who have been "living on Mars" for the last 10 years. These intelligent, articulate, good-looking, highly visible news people work for the corporate media, which as we all know, is largely owned by business entities which profit handsomely from war and are the serial recipients of $multibillion corporate welfare (government contracts) provided by the powers-that -be.

All the wars of the last 11.5 years - including the war against the people here in the US - have been 'justified' by the official 9/11 yarn, and the corporate media - not just in the US, but also in most other western, or industrialized nations, have been the primary vehicle for selling the US government's story of 9/11. They were in top gear as soon as the South Tower was hit, and since then, the corporate media has bent over backwards in an unrelenting effort to bolster the government's version of 9/11, often violating journalism's sacrosanct rule in the process, by broadcasting single-sourced, or hearsay material, as "fact".

If it wasn't for the supreme amount of treachery of the US corporate media regarding 9/11, I would bet the farm that heads would have rolled... in the Bush Administration, the military/security/intelligence community, and the FBI - by the hundred. Quite possibly, some "famous household names" would be languishing in prison right now, having been found guilty of treason, mass murder and more. Our corporate media, en masse, have not only obstructed justice and set this country back decades, but have protected and harbored likely terrorists in high places.

By actively protecting these most likely of perps, Maddow and the rest have blood on their hands - that of thousands of people who died on 9/11 itself, and the 1000+ those who have perished since then from breathing the toxic dust and smoke at Ground Zero. If there was real justice in the world, some of the more in-the-know these media people could be charged with accessory after the fact to mass murder (which can carry the same penalty as doing the crime itself).

These news persons are comfortably ensconced on easy street, enjoying their celebrity status, the 7 figure salaries and all the other $perks. Who would sacrifice that type of career - especially in the current economic climate - and bite the hand that feeds then by airing some nasty reality? Self-censorship rules in the corporate media; what would any newscaster gain by airing some 9/11 (or other) controversy, except getting predictably lambasted by their peers as a "tin foil hat wearing conspiracy nut", and then getting unceremoniously FIRED.

By owning the corporate media, directing the dialog, and carefully filtering what is permitted to be aired to the masses, the axis of treachery that exists within our government, military and the élite class, have their ducks in a row - they close ranks and protect one another - in this example, the media coddling the terrorists. No conspiracy is necessary - just the uglier side of human nature at work.
