An analogy
The governor of Connecticut tells the Newtown police to call off their investigation saying it would only distract them from fulfilling their policy duties. Instead they form a commission which fails to interview any school employees. Later there is a huge media campaign to convince the public that the attack is attributable to the lack of charter schools.
For some reason when the government acted like this in regard to 9/11 it was not met with outrage. How is it ok for Presidents Bush and Obama to give speeches at the 9/11 Memorial site despite both being actively involved in preventing the public from knowing exactly why almost 3,000 people were murdered?
