Panel Conclusions of the Toronto Hearings and Documentary on 9/11 in Universities

On Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at the University of Toronto, Professors Richard B. Lee and Herb Jenkins, who served as Panelists at the Toronto Hearings on 9/11 at Ryerson University last year, will discuss their conclusions based on the presentations by several expert witnesses who argued that the official theory of 9/11 is false. The event is called "9/11: Are Our Universities Failing Us?".

This is intended to be a major event for the general public for the 11th anniversary of 9/11. In noting that many of the expert witnesses at the Toronto Hearings were university professors and that the larger academic community has generally maintained critical perspectives of 9/11 outside of its curriculum and publications, the documentary, "9/11 in the Academic Community" is of particular importance and will be screened at this event.

The documentary examines academia's treatment of critical perspectives on 9/11 by analyzing three areas: the nature and the dimensions of the taboo of researching and expressing critical perspectives of the events of 9/11, scholarly scrutiny and the official 9/11 narrative, and the role of universities and intellectual courage. Through the experiences of recognized university professors and a former university president, the documentary discusses how many academics who can be harsh critics of the Bush Administration and the war on terror yet for some reason identify themselves with the official narrative of 9/11 quite aggressively. The documentary was a "Winner" of the University of Toronto Film Festival (2011), directed by Adnan Zuberi, will be screened.

Wish I could attend this

Wish I could attend this (Edmonton), best success to all in Toronto!

Hats off to academics with integrity!

Can we look forward to this documentary becoming more widely available for viewing?

thanks

We may promote the documentary in film festivals early next year to gain a more diverse audience and to alert critics that researching this subject is not an "internet phenomena". This is to be taken seriously in academic circles. After that, I hope to release it to the general public as soon as possible. Thanks for your support.
