I notice the names of a couple of backpedalers on that list: People who at one time--seemingly possessing something like backbone--expressed support for the truth movement, only to distance themselves from it later. I mean Lerner and Lindorff. Lerner, at the time of the Van Jones controversy two years ago, tried to have it both ways--still supporting an independent investigation, while fully endorsing the incompetence theory:

I consider my own political philosophy to be way left of center on most things (at least within the most basic and conventional definition), and it has been since I was 12 years old. So I have no problem with reality-based lefties.

Second, I work with many people on the 9/11 issue who are right of center according to most people's political barometer and fully acknowledge the strong libertarian wing of the 9/11 truth movement.

Third, I am not familiar with every single name on the list, so if there are some non-lefties on there, then I obviously will need to reconsider that opinion.

Are there non-lefties on that list? If so, who? If there are only "lefties" participating, then this continues to reinforce the idea that opposition to war only comes from the so-called left and thus maintains this artificial division.

We all know truth, any truth, is not a left/right issue, yes?

Finally, I think that anyone (left, right or center) who opposes the multi-trillion dollar fraudulent war on terror, but who does not question the event which kicked it into high gear, and even supports the government's 9/11 conspiracy theory, massively undercuts their own position. This is especially true for the invasion of Afghanistan, which seems to be the main focus of this particular action.

It's been almost 10 years, plenty of time for any thinking activist to have deconstructed the 9/11 false flag. However, the east coast left establishment paints 9/11 truth as a "right wing conspiracy nut cult thing" and tells their membership to avoid the issue (although that is not working too well for them, but that is another story).

I have first hand experience dealing with some of these individuals and organizations (for years in some cases), do you?

Not only will they not discuss the events of 9/11, they won't even discuss why they won't discuss it. These are not intellectually honest people, and some are incredibly manipulative.

The truth shall set us free, and the truth does not care about political ideology.

Love is the only way forward, and sometimes "tough love" is required for the message to get through.
