NWI Times: Architect tells Munster crowd a controlled demolition felled the Twin Towers

MUNSTER | An architect who questions the official story behind the collapse of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, spoke to a receptive audience Monday night at the Center for the Visual and Performing Arts in Munster.
Richard Gage, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, appeared at the behest of Liberty Straight Up, an activist group and social organization in favor of limited government. It has members who live in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties.
Gage is on tour to promote his group's position that the fall of the World Trade Center in New York City during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks had all the earmarks of a controlled demolition. Neither fire nor the impact of two airplanes was enough to bring down the Twin Towers, he said.
During a multimedia presentation, Gage said he was less concerned with the motives for the destruction and the people behind it than with what he said is the science behind the collapse.
“We want a new investigation that incorporates all the evidence,” he said.
The 1,500 architects and engineers who belong to the group have gone public with their concerns because "we're called to, and we care very much about our country," Gage said.
"It's important we know the whole truth about an event that served as pretext for the invasion of two countries (and) the loss of hard-won civil liberties," Gage said.
His presentation incorporated news footage and interviews with survivors, video of the buildings' collapse and commentary from experts.
Gage said the official story doesn’t hold up to the scientific method, and the collapse of both buildings, as well as that of World Trade Center Building 7, fits the pattern of a controlled demolition. Building 7 collapsed later that day.

I think what Richard meant when he said
that he was less concerned with the motives for the destruction and the people behind it than with what he said is the science behind the collapse." was that he's a buildingprofessional, whose strength lies in science and construction.
Of course it's far more important and much more concerning to know the motives and the people who were involved in the planning and execution of 9/11.
Still hard to fathom how the official story of what happened to those buildings still stands officially, hard to believe the scientific community hasn't stood up yet en masse to reject it's absurdity.

In view of all the political and professional disincentives to speaking out against the official 9/11 story, I'm more impressed that as many scientists and architects have spoken up about it as there have been. It is disconcerting to see how the scientific method can be compromised by considerations of politics, power, funding, the reaction of the news media, etc.; but also heartening that, in spite of all that, many (and still more, we hope) scientists and architects feel compelled to join the demand for truth.
