The tape would be the first time Bin Laden has spoken publicly since March 25.
Bin Laden's whereabouts are unknown, but in August, the US commander in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, said bin Laden is "far buried" in the remote mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan and that capturing him remains a key task.
While the likelihood of another large-scale attack is high, it is not this fictional character who will be responsible for it, as Former Homeland Security secretary Tom Ridge admits that the government raises the terror threat level when politically necessary and also inserts Osama Bin Laden into the dialogue as a widely-perceived direct external threat:

Osama bin Laden has raised the terror warning level to green.
The al Qaeda leader has mentioned global warming in the past, but this new recording is the first dedicated to the topic -- a change from his usual hate-filled diatribes that take aim at destroying the US and Israel.
"We should stop dealings with the dollar and get rid of it as soon as possible," bin Laden said. "I know that this has great consequences and grave ramifications, but it is the only means to liberate humanity from slavery and dependence on America."
Bin Laden also blamed the US for failing to sign the Kyoto Protocol, which sought to curb greenhouse gas emissions, and praised liberal political activist Noam Chomsky, according to Al Jazeera.
“Noam Chomsky was correct when he compared US policies to those of the Mafia,” he said. "They are the true terrorists."

An Israeli foreign ministry spokesman, Andy David, dismissed Bin Laden's attempt to link Israel with attacks on the US. "This is nothing new; he has said this before. Terrorists always look for absurd excuses for their despicable deeds," he said.
The last public message from Bin Laden appears to have been on 26 September, when he demanded that European countries pull their troops out of Afghanistan. That audio tape also warned of "retaliation" against countries allied with the US in the war.
Richard Clarke, a former chief White House counter-terrorism adviser, told the paper: "They (al-Qaida) have trained women. There are others who are still out there who have been trained and who are clean skins – that means people who we do not have a record of, people who may not look like al-Qaida terrorists, who may not be Arabs and may not be men."

CAIRO – Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden called for the creation of a new relief body to help Muslims in an audiotape released Friday, seeking to exploit discontent following this summer's devastating floods in Pakistan by depicting the region's governments as uncaring.
It was the third message in recent weeks from al-Qaida figures concerning the massive floods that affected around 20 million people in Pakistan, signaling a concentrated campaign by the terror group to tap into anger over the flooding to rally support.
But while the earlier messages by subordinates were angry, urging followers to rise up, bin Laden took a softer, even humanitarian tone — apparently trying to broaden al-Qaida's appeal by presenting his group as a problem-solving protector of the poor.
"What governments spend on relief work is secondary to what they spend on armies," bin Laden said on the 11-minute tape entitled "Reflections on the Method of Relief Work."
"If governments spent (on relief) only one percent of what is spent on armies, they would change the face of the world for poor people," he added.
The top al-Qaida leader said a new "well-funded" relief organization should be created to study Muslim regions near bodies of water to prevent future flooding, to create development projects in impoverished regions and to work on farming and agriculture to guarantee food security.
"The famine and drought in Africa that we see, and the flooding in Pakistan and other parts of the world, with thousands dead along with millions of refugees, that's why people with hearts should move quickly to save their brothers and sisters," he said.
He urged Muslim businessmen to develop unused agricultural land in Sudan — where bin Laden was based in the 1990s — to boost food security in case of disaster.
The audiotape was posted on Islamic militant websites, according to the U.S.-based SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadi forums and provided a copy of the message. Its authenticity could not be independently confirmed, though the voice resembled that of bin Laden in confirmed messages by him. The tape is aired over a still photograph of a smiling bin Laden superimposed over a picture of a man distributing aid.
Asked about the new bin Laden message, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said he doubts the victims in Pakistan would be "comforted in getting the aid that is necessary from somebody that is not showing their face to the world."
"I think they'll be comforted by the relationship — the bilateral relationship they have with this country that has no problem standing up here or standing up anywhere in the world and pledging our commitment and assistance to help its people in a tragic time," said Gibbs.
The United States and Pakistani officials have often expressed fears that militant groups in Pakistan could drum up support by exploiting frustration among Pakistanis who feel aid has not reached them quickly following the floods that swept through the country starting in late July.
International donors have pledged more than $800 million for flood relief in Pakistan, the bulk of it coming from the United States which has donated nearly $350 million. The United Nations last month hiked up its call for aid, seeking to raise $2 billion for Pakistan's flood victims, its largest humanitarian appeal ever.
Two earlier al-Qaida videos about the floods took a sharply militant tone.
In a video released last week, a U.S.-born al-Qaida spokesman, Adam Gadahn, urged Muslims in Pakistan to join Islamist militants fighting their nation's rulers, saying that Islamabad's "sluggish and halfhearted" response to recent floods showed it did not care for them.
Before that, al-Qaida's No. 2 leader, Ayman al-Zawahri, made a thinly veiled call on Pakistanis to rise up against their government over what he said was the "failure" of authorities there to provide relief to flood victims.
Bin Laden often takes a more elevated, philosophical stance than his deputies, aiming to present himself as a sort of elder statesman — opining, for example, on global warming in past messages. Still, in his last audiotape — released in March — he threatened retaliation if the U.S. executes Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the self-professed architect of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

*Osama Bin Laden*, aka the guy who denied involvement in the 911 attacks, pinning them on the US and Israel -- a man who surely died in 2001 -- comes out in support of the "green movement".

Presumably, those words come courtesy of the 'real' Osama. The *copy*, as his own son put it, speaks out on a variety of issues and even has the potential to influence elections. Ask Walter Concrite, the former voice of the owl at Bohemian Grove, who admitted that the 'Osama' tape released prior to Bush's second election was a Karl Rove dirty trick.

In case anyone failed to notice, *Osama Bin Laden* supports policies which elites do not. I don't mean to suggest that elites are not in the process of attempting to co-op the environmental movement, but there is indeed an environmental crisis unfolding. How we deal with these crises may well define us as a species.
Naturally, "Bin Laden" supports the environmental movement as a whole, a good indicator that elites do not. Because it interferes with the profit system.

has revamped their construction company and will now only build green projects with equipment re-engineered to run on bio-diesel. They also refuse to install any HVAC that is not geo-thermal. If the US agrees to pass carbon credit wall street option legislation immediately all attacks will be put on hold. Finally if google will agree to pay 10 cents per click for a new authenic Osama video half the proceeds will go to a green construction fund to build condos for displaced palestinians in the US creating jobs for thousands of Americans.

increased surveillance
This is so crazy I needed to think about it a little to conjure up some sort of justification. At some point, the motivation behind this should become evident. One thing we should assume is that it's meant to bolster some already existing agenda. But which one? My gut tell me it's to justify more surveillance power for western governments.
I can sorta hear it now -- some politician telling the public that "terrorists" are now infiltrating well-meaning groups like the Green Movement, and in order to "protect" the good work of some of these groups, it's necessary for governments to monitor (spy on) the activities of these groups to protect them from terrorist sabotage, because, of course, government knows best how to handle terrorism. The motivation may also be intended to create dissention, confusion and suspicion within some of the more active and radical movements.
If this begins to appear to be their motive, I think it's incumbent on truthers to advise and support groups like the Green Movement and share our insights in handling infiltration and sabotage, since we, 911 truth, have definitely been infiltrated.
Time will tell all.

Tactics in 9/11 Truth - Humor and silliness
There are many tactics which can used to promote 9/11 Truth.
I think humor is a good tactic, and that comedy is a great method of having a message received.
Ridicule of the silliness of "official 9/11 narratives" is also a good tactic. (The media tries to mock the 9/11 Truth Movement with ridicule of being "silly"...but ironically, their versions are just plain idiotic.)
Building 7
In the afternoon, Building 7 accidently fell, level and straight down (as fast as a ball falling), collapsing through itself into a nice consolidated, cut-up footprint as a result of a few office fires (...and NIST computer animations - ha!). ...and everyone was backed away because they knew it was gonna fall, but yet NIST says this was an extraordinary unprecedented event never before seen.
It just gets so silly.
Big Oil, 911, and profits over humanity!
I am sure that if and when the real perpetrators of the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and those behind the two illicit wars we are still engaged in (there are still 50,000 American troops in Iraq guarding the oil fields) are exposed, that some will certainly have connections to the oil industry.
We should be going to Alternative Energies in a massive way for several reasons. Why we are moving at a snails pace in this direction shouldn't be hard to figure out for anyone thinking.
Lumping those pushing for environmentally friendly and long term viability fuels with Osama Bin Laden is the height of audacity and it can only benefit one group, Big Oil.
Nothing surprises me with these oil people, as if one looks into it they will find oil people involved in the Kennedy assassination. They are also the same group who gave us the two phony oil shortages of the 1970's, which were nothing but hoaxes designed to increase their profits exponentially.
The reach the oil people have into the U.S. government is astounding, but that is what happens when your campaign finance system is nothing but a legalized bribery system, those with the most money get to control. There are some kind of tough decisions/dilemmas. Large entities controlling the distribution system of energy is one issue.
E.g. - Wind Power is kind of cool, but for the most part it is controlled by a distribution network (a million dollars per mile for the electric lines). The small turbines for a home can take years to gain a viable payback.
I enjoy seeing David Blume continue to promote "alcohol" and permaculture type activites which lead towards people becoming more independent. His censorship on PBS years ago is an interesting story.
