After looking into 9/11, I will not be surprised if what Manning says is true. If classification is being used to hide criminal activities allegedly in the name of US national security or "interests", as it has been in the case of Sibel Edmonds, Coleen Rowley, Robert Wright, Anthony Shaffer, etc., then it should be exposed. http://www.historycommons.org/project.jsp?project=911_project

If that's true, then it seems this is a 4th confirmation the NSA was spying on American's communications, in violation the Constitution and Federal law, prior to 9/11; how else could the NSA have made the transition so quickly to sweep up 500,000 text msgs ON 9/11- and when it wasn't legally authorized? Almost certainly there was a plan, in advance, to sweep them up as the attacks went down, if Manning is correct that the NSA is the source.
