This is going to be massive!
Besides the event a new DVD will be produced and will be the most powerful activist tool yet!
I will be showing this new film on Saturday the 11th of September in Sydney Australia, as I have a guarantee that it will be ready by 911TV.org .
Please step up and show this new film on the anniversary in your neck of the woods, and get out on the 11th to promote it and 911 Truth in general!
Imagine every city in the world showing this film on the 11th of September to the public with one or two AE professionals to take questions...at intermission or at the end.
Should we run with this idea as a world wide campaign with a dedicated web site or page within an existing site like 911blogger, 911Truth.org, AE911truth.org or Firefighters or all of them?

Can you flesh out your thoughts a little more on why it will be "massive?" How will it compare to the press conferences of February, or the Treason in America conference more recently? Is it massive because of the collaboration between the two groups, or because of the nature of the venues? It certainly appears to be a great thing, and I like the suggestion below that we could have formal collaboration among various 9/11 professional groups. Do you think that it has the potential for more fair minded press-coverage? I am genuinely curious, and not trying to play devils advocate here, and certainly not disparaging. The more events high quality representatives, the better.

For me it is the collaboration between the working class hero and the academic that makes this so MASSIVE and even more importantly the DVD we will get to use for education from this event! Both these organisations are solid and about evidence, hard evidence and together they are a dream for our movements credibility:)
The recent events where great as you said but they have not produced any pure 9/11 Truth material we have not already seen for direct public education.

It would be so good to get the press to comment fairly
I was pretty excited about the previous press conference. Elizabeth Woodworth dragooned a bunch of us into participating, whch was great. Our group in Victoria made it onto local TV with a really, really fair-minded piece by the news director for the station.
I'm under the impression that very few other groups in other places got any mainstream coverage. Of course we also got good coverage in the non-gate keeping portion of the blog sphere, but there we do a lot of preaching to those already converted. There was no action at Alternet, or Anti-war.com, and so on.
I hope that we can get some better coverage this time. Attention in the mainstream automatically reduces the barrier to acceptance for many. The event is in a major market. Good luck to all involved.
I have heard a previous presentation by Eric Lawyer. Anybody who listens to him, and still does not understand there is an issue, a legal issue, is essentially unreachable through rational discourse. Denial probably is too weak a term. The problem is, people won't listen, or will not focus on the arguments, or will filter them out. We nearly all do that with information that creates too much cognitive dissonance - we don't even listen to the words. It is my biggest intellectual failing, and I know that I am scarcely unique.

This is great news. I think it would be even better if we could get all the various 9/11 truth groups (firefighters, lawyers, scholars, a&e's, military and intelligence officers etc.) to come together for one big conference.
The merger of Firefighters, Architects and? Steven Jones is...
...a very, very powerful combination.
Many people in the public understand the words and concepts of a governmental "cover-up" and "crime scene" and thusly, may be more open minded when informed that the 9/11 Truth Movement can prove that a law breaking cover-up has happened at the WTC sites.
This is what Firefighters for 9/11 Truth is bringing to the table...showing that the removal, destruction and manipulation of crime scene evidence at a major fire and destruction of buildings at the WTC sites is not only against decades of established law, but seemingly, it is unprecidented in our history of fire damaged or collapsed buildings.
With all the CSI and other "police investigative" stuff on TV being consumed by the average citizen on a daily basis, this new cooperative approach has a FAR better potential for "communications in common" with the public than anything else that we have put together so far.
Additionally, the cover-up of, removal of, or control of evidence surrounding the NTSB [or not-FBI?] investigations of each of the airliner crashes may eventually come to be seen likewise...criminal, obfiscating and "hiding something" efforts by the Federal Governement because the crashes were so thinly and clandestinely investigated [?].
This is a really great cooperative effort...and I hope that Steven Jones may join in live somewhere down the road so that he can "dust'm up" in person...if you know what I mean.
...Broken laws at the crime, fire, collapse and crash scenes...
...Impossible laws of physics being broken on ONE day...
...Chemical analysis showing explosive materials in the WTC dust...

I have just today finished the review of Steven Jones's Sydney "Hard Evidence" Presentation "9/11 Science and Society" which is pure magic. This new video soon to be announced is a great overview of his and the Journals work up till now. It also lays out the exact history of his early retirement and the overt/covert support he has received from BYU. Plus a surprise or two....
Jones's new DVD will be another string in our bow as he is at his best and the filming is close to as good as "Blueprint for Truth"!

It would be great if the firefighters who found the black boxes could be included in the conference and speak - and then have their comments on video and go around the world.
Excellent combination
Erik Lawyer is a very compelling speaker. The combination of Richard Gage AIA and Erik Lawyer, NYC firefighter, will be very powerful.
